In the city of Valrium, magic and technology coexisted in a delicate balance. Dex was a young boy who lived in the slums of Valrium, barely scraping by in a world that seemed determined to grind him down. But one night, his life was forever changed when a violent gang broke into his home and murdered his family, leaving him for dead on the cold, hard streets.
But death was not the end for Dex. An underground body modifier named Jhin found him and brought him back to his laboratory, where he used a combination of magic and technology to bring the boy back to life and enhance him with cybernetic prosthetics. With these enhancements, Dex was able to seek revenge against those who had wronged him and carve out a new life for himself in the dangerous streets of Valrium. But as he delved deeper into his quest for justice, he began to realize that his true destiny was something even greater, something that would shake the foundations of the city to its very core.
