Chapter 4 Pure Instinct

Elise was turned around abruptly and harshly as she met those eyes again. Elise looked out the window the sun was out hopping the sun will destroy the vampiric instinct for now. Erick glared and the black out curtains draw in.

"You thought the sun could stop me...My dear this is only the beginning. You are the only one who bring out the instinct in me without dying let me-"

A kiss crashed onto Elise's lips as she try to move away. As their tongues fight dominance Elise felt finger crawling into her. She broke the kiss, causing blood to be drawn from her lips and jumped away from Erick. This aggressive behavior is familar but his eyes didn't change at all.

Erick smirked at her as she moved aside as he lunged for her. Elise shrieked as she ran away from the man.

"My bride! Have returned to me!"

She ran down the halls clutching the bed sheet as she looked back she saw Erick smiling creepily and eyes glowing. He stumbled a bit out into the hall.

"Ah!!" Elise ran faster as she looked back he was gone. Elise has never been afraid of the supernatural but vampire's are extremely strong for a species.

Elise bumped into a familar chest and it was Erick's. He quickly grabbed her wrist and pinned both her fragile hands in his grip with one hand above her head.

"My dear, Siren, serenade me with your mo-" Elise saw a maid come through that kick Erick off her.

"My lady run, Lord Ambrosia is in a state of arousal. Flee, please! You resemble the late lord's wife...The lord goes crazy when he see his wife in a potential partner!"

"Let me go! My wife, my siren! Why do you run away from me? You were suppose to be by my side always!

Elise looked back but the maid shoved clothes in her hand and watching them drag Erick away to the room. As Elise changed and hear the sad wails from Erick as she stepped outside.

"I'm so tired, let me call for a ride." Elise called for a car and waited outside. It pains her to hear Erick cry out for her but why did he called her a "Siren."?

Elise got in the car as she glanced up to see Erick's pained face glancing down at the car as their eyes meet before turning away.

Elise went straight home for her roommate to not be home. She ran up the steps to her room and laid on her bed with a blush.

"Erick...is obsessed with me...A vampire CEO called my name and called me his bride..? I thought our agreement was nothing more than that..."

Her gray eyes glanced at nightstand, gifts and gifts were placed on top of each other. All from Erick, it was the extra clothes she got from shopping with him, yesterday.

She slowly put the clothes away and waited for a call from Erick. Nothing. She watched Netflix and checked her phone, nothing.

By the time, she got a call it was nearly 11 pm.

"Erick! Are you ok? You scared me earlier!"

"Elise, I'm sorry- I didn't mean to scare you.Its just a monthly instinct. Just ignore it.".

"How can I, you said I looked like your late-wife."

"Elise don't worry about that, you are the only one I see in my eyes."

"Erick...I will think about coming back let me just calm myself."

"Elise, let's have a date you and me..."

"Oh...Ok...where?"

"The park, let's have a picnic..."

"Sir."

"Just a picnic, in the middle of no where...No clothes..."

"Sir!"

"I drink your blood in forbidden places."

"Erick!"

"Fine a normal date."

Elise heard a raspy chuckle as Erick sighed in relief.

"See you, tomorrow."

"Bye, Erick."

"Wait, here's some pocket money buy yourself something good."

Elise tilted her head as she saw 20k deposited in her account she jumped.

"That's alot of money! Erick!"

"Anything for you Elise, see you tomorrow."

Elise walked downstairs as she saw Lia finally on the couch.

"How's your job going?"

"Uh, I may or may not be dating the CEO."

"Woah! How'd that happen?"

"I..." Elise explained the whole ordeal to Lia. Lia smiled and pet Elise hair.

"You bagged an excellent future fund my friend!"

"Well since I got some pocket money let's go spend it tonight on drinks! Wasn't there a new place called the "Wolf Den"?"

"Yeah it's a new club, I don't suggest going. I heard the club owner is a werewolf remember Erick is a vampire. They will tear you to shreds if they smell vampire on you."

"Ah, OK, how about the resturant Sugar Rush?"

"Sure!" Lia chuckles as she got up to get ready.

As time passed and Elise sat at the table with Lia she noticed from the window a man get out of a Limo. The Wolf Den was right across Sugar Rush so it was a straight shot.

"Abel Monterrey. A classy wolf with a lot of charm." Lia explained as Elise glanced at him she felt a glance back. She could have sworn he smiled at her but not in a friendly way. A perverted way. Elise shook her head as she watch the man head inside.

'Maybe I'm just imagining things...'

As time pass on and Elise was drunk with martinis and bubbly cocktails. She danced at the mini dance floor of the resturant. She felt like something was watching her.

"Lia...Let's goo home." Elise whined as Lia kept dancing.

"Yeah, you are right I can't function."

As the girls waited outside in a drunken state a car pulled up and yank Elise in. Lia was too slow to react and somehow the drinks she had was making her weaker.

"Elise!! Elise!! Help! Someone took my friend-" Lia was knocked out but carried by a Vampire shadow gaurd.

As Elise looked up the person who was holding her so lustfully was Erick. Erick was watching her in the resturant. He knew over time Abel was going to send his goons to her.

As they drove away, Erick looked back to see that two goons were running after the car but not fast enough.

"Elise, you have to be more careful."

"Erick?"

"Yes, its me baby."

"Erick, what are you doing here? I feel hot."

"Shit, they put an aphrodisiac in your drink."

Erick head hurted as his eyes glow again as he pushed a hand on her pelvis. Emitting a light as a mark carved it's self on her stomach.

"There..."

Erick breathed as he took control of himself again. He took Elise home instead and put her away in bed. He bit his lip and walked out before he can touch her. His eyes glowed again and he hurried home.

'Elise, stay safe! I will send some more people to protect you'

As Elise open her eyes she found herself in Erick's mansion again. She walked around and heard Erick chuckle and a woman giggling. As she came closer to the room she saw a woman with sandy hair and eyes like her. Except her eyes were a more defined purple. It was like looking in a mirror.

"My siren sing me another song."

The girl obliged and sang causing Erick to hum along as the girl pet his head. Erick eyes glowed again causing him to wince and the girl disappeared as he saw Elise.

"Elise...?"

Elise wanted to run but Erick caught her arm.

"My love, that woman was you. You from the past."

"What do you mean?"

"You are-"

As soon as Elise woke up the alarm she set went off as she woke her up.

"I slept through my alarm!!"
