 I clutched a hand to my chest, standing there alone in the silence of my room.

I had known he would run away again like he always did. The coward. But I hadn't been expecting him to leave so soon. He didn't even let me check to see if his wounds had healed properly.

But if he was able to...disappear, then it would mean he was okay, right?

My head throbbed from the absurdity of it all. The fact that Vasilis's wounds had healed, just because he fed on my blood, when he'd initially been on the brink of death.

I wondered if he would truly be okay. Having ITP meant that I was declared ineligible to be a blood donor under any circumstances. My blood was just too thin and would cause complications both for me and whoever I was donating to.

I wondered if those criteria's were applicable to...Vampires.
