Swords Vs Swords

An outburst of terrifyingly cold mist came from Conan. Shredding the tendrils binding him apart and pushing the captain a little with the wave. But Conan had no time to celebrate, not yet.

He rotated the ice greatsword in his grip, so fast that it shredded the swords of darkness as they met with it. The ice sword cracked but the mists would continuously come towards it and merge with it. Essentially mending it immediately.

The continuous clash created an immense but cold shockwave that fluttered the Captain's cloak imminently.

The captain on the other hand gritted his teeth and infused more spiritual energy into the sword. Evident with how dark his hand was relative to the sword in his grip and the night.

The swords of darkness unremittingly assaulted Conan who shreds them into splinters as he defends against them with his rotating sword of ice.

With the control of the captain, the swords of darkness that get ripped apart by Conan will turn into smaller ones that will attack Conan from the defenseless sides

Conan responded to it by creating more swords of ice that rotated so fast that they shredded the smaller Swords apart but they just kept multiplying while a few more joins from the darkness-coated ground ever so frequently.

Now Conan was encased in a dome, made from rotating swords of ice. While smaller and relentless swords of darkness assaulted the dome. The clash between the swords caused the destruction of the swords of both, but their creators multiplied and mended them respectively.

The captain multiplied his sword, while Conan mended his and made them rotate faster. Under him was still the dark-coated floor and as long as he was still standing on it, it was his weakness.

As if to prove this fact, tentacles with sharp tips rose from the darkness beneath him and pierced his leg before snaking upwards and started piercing in and out of his body. His shape-shifting armor was useless in his mortal form.

The feeling of pain made Conan grin, although it had been a long time since he felt pain, he didn't expect it to be so painful. It was kind of refreshing, but not pleasant.

He created a layer of ice over the darkness and stood on it, but that doesn't seem to work, as the darkness didn't even try before the ice layer got under it and the tentacles continued the rampage of his body savagely.

The captain had earned Conan's respect enough. He decided it was time to wrap it up as Conan was getting frustrated already. Not to talk of the unsettling feeling his Intuition gave him.

That his babies were in trouble.

...

The other Night Knights and The cannibals were all absorbed in their battle, but not so much that they noticed the clash between Conan and the captain.

They all stopped in their tracks and stared blankly at the dome of rotating swords, with the swords of darkness that continuously rampaged it.

They appeared as though they were in the middle of a stage play, playing their roles in a war play but were abruptly asked to pause due to some errors.

"Is that captain?"The man with the poleaxe asked what one would call a dumb question. His poleaxe was outstretched like he was in the middle of swinging it towards the cannibal's neck, while the cannibal himself was crouching, with his claws aiming towards the little gap between the Knight's armor. Albeit they had paused in their actions.

"No, it's your mother."The lady knight with the glaive sarcastically responded. Her glaive however was in her hands no more. Rather, it was in the hands of the other cannibal girl, who stood above her as the lady Knight's back was on the floor.

The lady knight was in the middle of stopping the cannibal girl from stabbing her head through her eyes with the glaive. Her hands were on the blade to stop the glaive from moving further against the girl's strength.

Her head seemed to have caved the ground in, and the sides of the glaive were cutting her gauntlets inchmeal. But now, they had paused in the middle of the action.

"I was being rhetorical, so shut up. I wasn't talking to you."The knight with the poleaxe said with annoyance.

"Heh... Fool."The woman concluded their conversation in her way, causing the man to grit his teeth in annoyance. Even the wounds he had sustained didn't hurt as much

A male knight on the flipside ignored the two bickers and watched the clash with keen eyes. He, on the other hand, was holding two longswords with a long handle, round silver pommel, and crossguard.

He was stabbing downward while the cannibal was on one knee under him. He was overpowering the Cannibal who held on to his wrist to prevent him from stabbing downwards, or perhaps further.

The tip of the sword had sunk into the shoulder of the cannibal already, exactly in the middle of the joint, just a little sideward push and the arms of the cannibal would be dislocated and that's what the cannibal was trying to prevent.

How the Cannibal could still move their arm at this point further gave testimony to how monstrous monsters can be. Even though these aren't exactly monsters, they are still monstrous enough to be considered one. Albeit they're humans.

They just had a monstrous hungry mode. And that hunger makes them cannibals. And being cannibals makes them monstrous.

"Captain is one of the strongest in the kingdom. Although on the lower ranks and apart from the incarnates. That serpent, serpentine whatever guy is seem to be on the same level."The knight muttered with keen eyes but to no one but the cannibal he was suppressing to hear him

His lips then parted as he added softly "... If not stronger, I can see the captain is struggling."

On another side that seemed to be far from the clash was Mogen, the lady knight with a dark spot on her upper lip and multiple darts bundled to her back. Standing in front of the cannibal leader in opposition.

The Cannibal leader glared with red eyes dilating ever so slightly. The tension arose in the air as the two stood for a while, glaring back into each other's eyes until the cannibal leader abruptly sniffed.

Like an automaton, her hooded head snapped to the side to look at the source of the appetizing smell. On the floor was one of her metalloid claws that she previously hurled toward Conan.

But this one pierced the delicious-looking serpent and has his blood on it. Although small, the cannibal leader felt an overwhelming craving for it. So she walked towards it, disregarding the lady knight.

Seeing this opportunity, the lady knight drew out one of the shorter darts from her back and pulled it backward. She aimed for the cannibal leader's leg.

The dart shot towards the leg of the unknowing cannibal girl's leg, connected to the shaft by a chain and pierced through, then divided to turn into an anchor that hooked the girl's leg in a rather gruesome manner.

The lady knight didn't seem to care for the gore though. She shot the tip on the other end of the dart to shoot towards the branch of a tree and pierce through, then turn into anchors to hook on the tree.

She released the dart and it started pulling the cannibal girl, first dragging her onto the ground before raising her to hang her upside down.

Disregarding the pain, the cannibal girl savagely bent her waist, not caring about the anchor that further ripped her leg apart causing blood to ooze out. She grabbed the anchor and tactically pulled it out while enduring the pain as though she felt no pain.

She dropped to the ground and Mogen paled in fear. She had thought she had captured the cannibal and was even starting to celebrate. Who would think she was such a savage?

She was about to draw out another dart when she realized that the cannibal leader didn't even acknowledge her presence but instead continued to where she was initially heading.

The Cannibal leader kneeled and took the claw with Conan's blood on it with both hands and gently licked, it under the keen gaze of Mogen, the lady knight.

She made gentle humming sounds as she licked. A contrast to what she displayed earlier and completely out of the lady Knight's expectations she started to moan loudly after being done with the blood.

She moaned so loud and sultrily that the knights and cannibals that were looking at the sword clash now turned their heads at her sharply. The lady could almost swear she heard whipping sounds as they did.

"Ohhhh~ S-so warm, damnation why is he so delicious and hot in me?"

Mogen's mind inevitably spun on hearing how sultry her moans were, it made her think of many improper things.

Is this all because his blood was sweet or what? The cannibal girl was hard to understand.

The other lady knight on the other hand got curious and wondered what kind of pleasure she must be experiencing to make her act that way.

Unknowingly, they came to a mutual deduction 'Perhaps the blood is aphrodisiac?' As that seems a bit reasonable. After all, nothing is impossible.

The cannibal girl held her stomach and started confessing how much she loved the blood. Lost in ecstasy, she breathed out heavy hot fumes and seemed to have lost completely over sanity.

She glanced towards the clash and under everyone's astonished gaze, she spoke "I want more but not yet, my sweet heart..."

And yet again everyone frowned on hearing that. She came out wrong but she didn't seem to care. His face turned monstrous as she stood with the claw in her grasp she howled loudly and turned on her heels.

Knowing what she was about to do, the lady wanted to stop her but a mighty wind pushed her back. Not because was attacked, but because the cannibal girl was too fast and she was gone already.

The other cannibals followed, using the surprise of the knights to escape. They were so fast that streaks of spiritual energy trailed them as they ran on fours, hoisting themselves from trees to other platforms to increase their speed.

And most importantly, the spiritual energy that trailed behind them was bland—misty white, attributeless, like that of a monster.

The knights came to their senses and watched the fight since they have nothing more to do than to spectate. Something else was happening that blew chilling winds on their faces.
