Stoned.

I got down on my knees and slid toward the creature surrendering myself but I had a plan in my mind.

"Pitt" I summoned throwing a knife toward him. "It's neck" I shut my eyes and controlled it with my mind confusing it for some minutes buying Pitt sometimes to finish it.

Drops of blood dropped on my face making me lose my patience, My demons yearned for blood, they wanted it so bad that I couldn't hold myself, and before I knew it I was feeding on its shank.

I knew I was in deep shit but the demons inside me wanted more fresh blood since it has been like 30 good years without drinking it.

I always fed on blood provided by Lucas and blood that I stole from hospitals.

I stopped when my demons were fully satisfied, with blood all over my face and my exterminator suit. It was my most treasured thing apart from the jade I inherited from my lineage.

Each Exterminator owned a suit according to their supernatural ability.

I turned my sights to look at the people who were looking at me like I had mercilessly fed on a human in front of them. (Yeah I did it in front of them but it was a damn hyde, not a freaking human)

"So it took me two minutes to turn from their life rescuer whom they praised moments back to a freak they wanna stone to death."

Shamefully, I wiped the blood on my face with my palms. "Are you okay, Pitt?" I nervously asked ignoring the death and disgusting looks from the crowd

It's not a bad thing to eat.

Pitt smiled at me and squeezed my shoulder before walking away.

Ouch! 'Wait a sec, does he also hate me because I fed on a hyde?' Anyway, that's not my problem

"How can you be so mean to me? How can you---" I didn't get to finish because a stone came flying in my direction. It was meant to hit my head but blocked it with my elbow.

I groaned in pain as my butt slammed into the ground.

"You unthankful nincompoops" I screamed in frustration as more stones were coming toward me

Ahh! I yelled going on all fours and bending my head under my hands blocking the stones from hitting my handsome.

I would rather lose a finger than have a scar on my face.

Who would date me with an ugly face?

Who would allow me to bang them?

A pretty face is a passport for winning girls' hearts.

I struggle to inhale and exhale, still crawling in the dust.

"Where are you Naya, delaying for more seconds we are losing a person right here. Am dying" I screamed in my head.

Fuck my life.

I don't want to die like this. I have survived numerous death which are like nightmares to me. I would have been killed by a hyde but not stoned to death like Naboth or Paul from the Bible.

AUTHOR'S POV

G.K.'s teammates watched as their fellow was being stoned.

Natasha's hands were wrapped around Team's shoulders since his leg was injured.

Naya waved her hand in the air, created a portal, and transported toward G.K

"How can a leader be this stupid?" she murmured before landing.

"What took you so long Naya? I nearly died from these thankless humans," spoke G.K reaching Naya's hand

"Instead of being grateful to a person who saved your life from the monsters, you are thanking him by stoning him. What kind of people are you? You are worse than those monsters." Naya shouted at the crowd and everyone went silent

"Let's get out of here the spaceship is already waiting," said Naya 'Give me a hand, I can't feel my legs voiced G.K'

Naya wrapped her hand around G.K's waist while G.K encircled his hand around Naya's shoulders and they walked towards the other members. "Is everyone okay? questioned G.K flexing his neck"

"We need to hurry back to the base as soon as possible Team is losing energy," Natasha shouted

The spaceship touched down in front of the three-floor castle's gate. G.K. was lying unconscious in his seat. Natasha was holding Team in her hands bursting into tears while everyone looked sad and nervous at the same time.

"Look at you, getting all tense and weeping like a newborn. He's just unconscious it's not like anyone has died yet," Pitt teased looking at Natasha. "How in Hades can you talk like that? You deliberately left him behind. I saw your disgusting look and almost spat in his face just because he's a vampire and he fed on that darm hyde doesn't give you the right to say that about him." Harry snapped out at Pitt clenching his fists.

"Are you two dating? I never mentioned anyone's name but you are here pointing your teeth at me." Pitt furiously answered back

'Shut your vituperate hole, Pitt'

"So you mean it's my responsibility that he got stoned? Pitt asked in a cold but soft voice." The temperature between the two was tense as everyone threw a fit at one another maybe that's how they behaved without a commander

"A hundred percent your fault and if anything happens to him I won't spare you," said Harry

"How about we have a battle right now?" asked Pitt his lips curved into a smirk.

He stood up and walked toward Harry snatching him by his collar before whispering

"You are no match for me, Harry just shut your insolence and sit down."

He was right no matter how fast Harry was, he wouldn't be compared to someone who has the invisibility ability. "Everybody shut your gob, Is this the time to be fighting each other and talking nonsense when two of our team members are seriously injured especially 'TON' who knows everything about this place? We are stuck outside like rats instead of finding a solution you guys are combatting." roared Leah

"Since when did you fall for Ton?" teased Naya leaning against her seat.

"Zip it, Leah"
