Blood Warlock: Succubus Partner in the Apocalypse

Since the setting is Zombie Apocalypse which is awesome and the author is known for stable updates, not a a lot can go wrong with this novel. The system seems similar to GDW so far which is another plus and mages (warlock) are more interesting than simple warriors in the long run.

What can I say? XIETIAN's novel = pro story line. Awesome first chapter, I add this to my library. Can't wait for more chapters! XIETIAN you're a genius dude!

Not really bad story but sadly it Peaked in volume 1 for me. From volume 2, it slowly progress to a crawl and author write too much detail on describing small and unimportant events. Even the action parts could be skipped or shortened because they're just boring grinding and the mc will overcome it easily and but author will spend 2-3 chapters to describe everything in great detail of actions and refuse to skip even a single unimportant monster. This is my main reason of dropping this. This story would've been more bearable if author knows when to skip something. But overall Characters are great and plot is alright too. If you're fine reading a somewhat interesting but very dragged story. Then this is an alright read.

A review from about chapter 50: A decent novel, but I have to turn off my brain sometimes because the author isn’t always good at making details believable or managing the side character perspectives. Its also a little slow and dull at times despite the should-be adrenaline-inducing setting. It isn’t particularly unique, but the execution isn’t bad either. So far nothing has really gripped me with excitement, but its passable. On a side note, some of the female characters so far seem to be a detriment to the novel. I almost didn’t read this because the title seemed to indicate that the novel would have this problem. I am, however, relieved to say its not as bad as I initially expected.

One of the best novels in system\apocalypses genre, and probably my favorite Chinese novel until a certain point. I personally like how the geming-like system is justified and how it affects it's users. I like characters, I like how skills and classes work, how worlds and factions of these worlds are represented — having a story, purpose, and motivation of their own. The novel has only one fatal flaw, though: it becomes filled with unreasonable fillers, and the number of "meaningless" chapters increases in geometrical progression. You can skip 70% of the chapters (most of the fights, sometimes entire arcs, and half of the fraction building chapters) and you wouldn't miss anything. For reference: "War and peace" is a book that has a long and complete story that only takes 1,225 pages to tell. This novel has more than 1000 chapters and is barely scraping the beginning of the story ladder (the hero of the novel wanted to become a higher tier existence, and so far he has only reached the second step of this path at this moment). So if you're into long-term heroic-driven novels with the slowest pace and decent everything else, that is your best choice on WebNovel.

This is honestly the best novel I have ever read. It’s unique in every way, the storyline is amazing and I always want to know what happens next. I have been with this story since the beginning and it hasn’t got boring whatsoever. Each character is well thought out and has a unique background, every chapter develops and helps create an entire universe and I cannot wait until the author explores that universe in depth. I love this novel, and recommend it to anyone and everyone. It’s got romance, war, love, power, tragedy, magic and so much more. Can’t wait for more chapters!

other than reading the phrase "dont know whether to laugh or cry" 1000 times in 250 chapters, its a pretty good book. the author does a pretty good job of keeping it entertaining and keeping you enthralled and waiting for the next one. and id say based off of time progression in the story to the chapters ive read so far its gonna be a long read..... and i look forward to it.

Over the course of my life I've read many books, novels, novellas, short stories you name it. However I can honestly say with utmost confidence that this series is topped by very few if any others, and even then among the webnovels I've read this is number one. The writing quality is phenomenal the author either has the best editor I've ever seen or is just that good, and I'm leaning more towards the latter with my opinion. The story development is set at just the right pace not too quick nor too slow, my only complaint if I had to have one is that personally I'm not a fan of cliff hangers. However, the story updates quite frequently so it's not like I'm waiting a week or more for updates so that'd irrelevant. The character design is honestly amazing. The characters feel so real. I honestly feel like I could close my eyes and perfectly imagine what the author has written like a movie in my head. The story updates like three times a day, there's not much else I can say about that. Finally the world background is insane it's well planned and excellently executed. I have nothing but praise for this book.

I don't know how to put this but...I kinda don't like the character of the MC and lilith, only in my own but not in the story itself, everything is perfect except the fact that the pace of their relationship is too fast and mc growth is too slow probably gonna take thousands of chapter if it has an ending. for someone who was been betrayed before got in relationship just for 2months, mc always over exaggerated when in/ comes to lilith, how could he trust someone he barely knew, in fact he really don't know anything about lilith, even her real name hasn't mention yet,then the phrase"you'll know when you become stronger" thing will show in every dialogue, well it's all part of the plot. The stone heart skill is the reason for the relationship, but mann really?

Well in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking at this matter in a different way and without fighting and by trying to make it clear, and by considering each and everyone's opinion, I honestly believe that I completely forgot what I was going to say.

Not a shabby novel, however, not the best either. The pacing is really off, and it still throws me off here and there. The problem is that a lot of the later story is spoiled right off the bat in the first few 200-300 chapters, which to me, is kind of a turn off. A unique approach to story-telling, but it just ruins the fun. MC is already spoiled by the author to be OP right in the beginning. Sure, thanks for the information, but is it necessary? Another problem lies in the way the author attempts to narrate Lilith’s interaction with the MC, which he describes her as being overly “worried” because he is way too strong. This is around chapter 200. Awkward and cringe way to tell us that he is unironically way too OP.

An average story with lots of potential but has many flaws like involving religious mythology, MC's victim mentality and him taking credit for knowledge he received from Lilith as his own in front of others(Funny thing is he believes himself to be very intelligent and perceptive while listening to their praises. If not for Lilith he would be dead many times or not have achieved as much). Another unbelievable thing is people hesitating to gain power out of fear when the process of gaining it is very easy(No training or mastery needed in early stages). Hope author makes it more entertaining ahead.

Definitely give this a read, honestly the progression so far has been great and If it keeps going in the same direction i can see this being my favourite webnovel. 5/5 Great job author <3

automatic 5 stars:) you can never go wrong with XIETIAN cause he just never misses. Im hoping that this mc is a good one like his senior brother from Samsara Online because he set a great example of a good mc. for the harem could you make it balanced just like the last one? hope that if he does have a harem they wont be as bland as water and have the absolutely worse reason for falling in love with him.

Tbh..... till now this is the only Chinese webnovel in which i never got bored out of same plot...this novel is really interesting only problem right now is the upload rate..... idk about the author rn cuz i m reading this very late still this is one of the best novels i have ever read/reading
