The force from the beam pushed the War-angel backwards, making her retreat rapidly as the force from the attack burned through her hands. 

Despite the searing pain of her mountainous palm being consumed, and the force of the push from the beam, it still wasn't enough to overwhelm the War-angel. 

Naturally, she could have used the several abilities gained from her Super-cells or at least condence massive amount of nuclear energy and let it out as a beam just like the Dark-titan had done but instead, she chose to forcefully endure the attack as though seeing to test the limit of the beam to the limit of her second form!
