You won't embarrass me Infront of this faggot

The time was 5 PM. Tasha told me she didn't want to spend her first day of campus locked in a room, so after taking a peek at my house we decided to go and have fun somewhere. I guess she knew what was in store for her, if she we were to stay in the room. I could see that she liked me though which made my heart calm down and grant her request without question. There was tomorrow of course, so there was no need to rush things.

After a busy day filled with a lot of fun and laughter we were at a restaurant having dinner, before I bid Tasha goodbye. Anyone who would see us at that moment would think that we were a couple, and a hot one. Because we definitely acted like one. Occasionally Tasha would stretch her fork and steal a piece of meat from my plate when I'm not looking. This was also the first time a girl fed me. Other moments she would feed me a large piece of meat before breaking into an angelic laughter. The moment was heavenly. I could tell Tasha liked me so I decided to take my biggest shot for the day. Even if my bed failed to creak, kissing those juicy lips would be a great start.

I left the seat I was sitting opposite Tasha and took the seat beside her. Tasha didn't react or seemed surprised at all. It was as if we had been doing this for a long time and it was just normal. She only giggled before scooping a spoonful of rice and stuffing it in my mouth and giggled again. Seemed like she was enjoying doing that. But it was time to take things to another level. I took a piece of meat from my plate, bit it with my front teeth and brought my mouth closer to hers. The moment my mouth moved closer, she didn't even hesitate. She moved her mouth closer and was about to bite her share when suddenly someone swept the plates on our table, and they fell to the floor shuttering into pieces.

"Wtf… Are you blind damn it!" my blood was already boiling ready to tear whoever had ruined my precious moment. But when I lifted up my face, what I saw made my blood freeze.

Lily was confused, but her eyes were red with anger. It was like she didn't believe I could do that to her. This was the first time I saw her being angry at me, she always petted me. But this? I knew this was a grave mistake. It was unforgivable mistake, but I was ready to face the consequences. I was ready to enter the slaughter house without question, and face the butcher's knife with my head high.

"Nickolas…is it you or Am hallucinating? … please Nick just tell me it is not what I'm thinking…oooh fuck I was a fool all along. I thought you were different for fuck's sake Nickolas… please say something damn it." Lily was going crazy. Tears were already flowing from her eyes down to her cheeks. If she thought that would move me then she was wrong because my heart stood its ground. Didn't even tilt.

"What do you want me to say Lily? Everyone is entitled to their opinions and I won't refute yours that me and she are lovers. Since you didn't bother to ask and went straight to smashing our plates then I guess my explanation won't matter anyway." All this time Tasha was sitting there, her jaws dropped, confused and not knowing what to do.

"I have been watching you Nick for almost fifteen minutes. Do you think I can't distinguish between lovers and friends?"

"For that I don't know the answer. But what I know is that, I didn't pay anyone to come and watch us while having dinner. It was your choice; I don't know why you are complaining." I answered without even looking at her. I didn't want to look into her eyes, at least not right now. We had been through a lot with this girl, and looking into her eyes might melt my heart and lose the girl who was beside me.

"What? … Is this a joke to you? Nick do you think this is funny? How can you do that to me?... am I a joke to you?" her friend Sabrina was trying to pull her to leave but Lily resisted. She was inches away from me. As much as I hated seeing her hurt like that, I wasn't ready to ruin things with Tasha that early. I don't know what had come over me that day, I was so obsessed with Tasha whom I had met that same day and saw lily; whom we had been together for so long, like Trash.

"I don't fucking know… I don't know if you are the joke or the comedian here…I don't know okay…and what's with all these questions? What is this, an interview? Hope you're glad now you've got the attention you needed. Now this show is definitely over for me." Even though I uttered those words I felts a little guilty inside. I knew it wasn't the right thing to do, but I did it anyway.

"Hey let's get out of here." I turned to Tasha and grabbed her hand and started walking out of the restaurant. All the eyes were focused on us. This kind of dramas honestly didn't fancy me at all

I was wrong to think that Lily would just let us walk away like that. The moment Tasha got up from her seat lily grabbed her shirt and yanked her backwards. I didn't even have the time to react. A heavy slap landed on Tasha's left cheek and loud gasps were heard in the restaurant. The slap was more than enough for Tasha. It sent her staggering, and almost knocked the table beside her. Lily wasn't satisfied yet. She was still after her and Tasha was definitely not her match at all, so I had to do something before the split milk could be stomped into mud. I dashed to where Tasha was and quickly pushed Lily away, before her fist could land on Tasha's face.

"Just you dare touch her again." I threatened my lips quivering with anger.

"What? … what will you do? do you think I'm afraid of you? You think I'll just stay still while you embarrass me in public because of this faggot?" I didn't want to argue or say anything else to Lily. I was done entertaining the crowd which had gathered. I grabbed Tasha and lead her out of the restaurant. I was already out when I realized that I had dropped my phone. I told Tasha to wait for me while I was going to check my phone. I stomped into the restaurant ignoring the eyes of the people who were still gathered inside. I didn't have to spend a lot of time searching and asking people for the whereabouts of my phone, because as soon as I entered I saw it. My phone just lay there, but with a shattered screen. There was no need to ask who did it, I already knew and I wasn't ready to talk to her. I just picked my handicapped phone and left the restaurant without even looking back.
