Escape

As I felt his grip getting tighter and my airways being blocked off, I felt the panic. It was a natural reaction. No matter how well I trained, breathing was something so primal that no matter if someone was a battle-hardened warrior or a child they would react the same. Despite that I controlled myself. I grabbed his pinky and tried to twist it. He were stronger than me, I knew that. But what about my entire hand versus his pinky? Seeing his pinky twist he slammed me to ground. I felt my ribs getting fractured. Air escaped from my lungs and I let a gasp.

"Where…. Are my sisters!"

I still twisted his finger.

"I'll break it… Argh!"

My threat didn't went to well since he slammed me to ground once more. His other hand reached to me and grabbed my hands. He broke my hold on him.

"Now, let's try it once more. Who turned you?"

When I looked at his hands I saw that his nails were grown into sharp claws. They dug deep into my skin, enough to draw blood. I struggled briefly. I knew how how to grapple. However, it was meant to subdue humans with similar strength as myself. My enemy were neither human nor he had similar strength as me. I felt the same powerlessness as a child wrestling with my father.

"I don't… Grh!"

My voice turned into a rough groin as his claws pierced my throat.

"Very well. We will have to try another way. Come here."

He said while turning his head to the woods. Two figures came out of the darkness. Seeing them I tried to rise but I was pushed to ground without much effort.

"Nur! Zehra!"

I screamed to them. They didn't react to my screams. They seemed out of it. Their eyes looked empty. He hypnotized them? But how come I wasn't able to see them until he called them? Because of this barrier? I looked at them. Both of their eyes and noses were red. The fact that they cried that much broke my heart. Zehra's right arm was in a wrong position. It was broken so badly. Seeing my sister like that...

"Those are some nice fangs."

He smiled as he looked at me.

"Don't blame me. Blame yourself. If you obeyed my orders from beginning, none of this would happen."

His smile pissed me off.

"Now, we are going to try one more time. I am going to ask you the question. You have 10 seconds. If you don't answer it, your sister will smash the other to ground. Deal?"

No. No. No! I watched drenched in despair as his mouth moved. It was like entire world were in slow motion.

"Who turned you? 10."

No matter how much I felt loyalty or gratitude towards Elizabeth didn't mattered at that moment.

"E… E….? E….?!!?"

I opened my mouth to answer. But nothing came out.

"5."

I saw Nur lifting Zehra overhead. Did Elizabeth put some kind of block to stop me from giving her name?

"An Origin can manipulate their Turned without limitation. If they want, they can make themselves seen as God. They can give any orders. They can shape their personality and mindset however they want."

"If I wanted to make you lick my feet, I could do it. I could even make you enjoy it."

An Origin could control their Turned as they wanted. I tried to speak. I tried to explain myself. Words jumbled inside my mouth. My voice which I used to loudly and confidently order other hunters got stuck in my throat. Not now! God damn it not now!

"No!"

My voice cracked as it finally escaped from my mind. Despair. Fear. Trauma. My cracked scream carried all of it.

(Skill Domination C is acquired.)

I didn't noticedthe notifications popping in my vision. Nur's body froze as I let out my scream.

"Get off me, you fucking bitch!"

I managed to shook his hold on me and kicked him in his suprised face. As he lost his balance I got up and punched him in his stupid face. It was like hitting a huge boulder. I was sure that my hand was broken. Despite the pain, I ran. I put Nur to my shoulder.

"Nur, hold Zehra tight!"

Despite my wrists and throat bleeding, ribs being hurt and a broken hand, I ran as fast as I could. While I got two good hits in, he were probably just stunned. I can't fight him. Not with my sisters. I had to get them to safety, get help of other hunters and fuck this bastard up. I didn't know how I stopped Nur. No, I didn't do anything. She must have resisted him. Her sisterly instincts managed to overcome Lazarus's hypnosis.

"Thank you Nur. You managed to stop him. You did something I couldn't."

I shallowed the lump clogging my throat. It felt so pathetic.

"I am going to get you guys out of here. I promise. I'll protect you."

They were still unresponsive. Maybe that was for better. They were probably in a lot of pain, espacially Zehra. Looking at how her arm was broken using Hawkeye made me think that she is going to need surgery to regain use of her arm. More reason to kill that bastard.

"Wait."

I looked around. I was sure that I was running in a straight line. I should have already escaped from this damn graveyard. Yet, I was still surrounded by broken tombstones.

"You think you could get away from me?"

I turned around.

"I was going to be nice. I gave you a change. What did you do? Kick me in the face. You will pay!"

I slowly let my sisters to ground. Their body collapsed to ground like an empty sack of potatos. They just lied down, not moving.

"This is your idea of being nice? You fucking bitch!"

I had to get him angry. I had to make him follow me. I had to get him far away from my sisters.

I managed to make time to write one chapter. This doesn't mean that I will return to my usual schedule but I wanted to give something since I got all of those collections and power stones. So, I basically speedran one of my assignments to write this chapter.
