CH61:CHERRY AND CHRIS.

"Twenty-eight hours. You've been flying non-stop, for twenty-eight hours. We're almost there. Twenty-eight hours. Let's go." Chris, the high leveled Gifted student with the body-cultivators skill, flew through the wee hours of the night and pushed through the morning while in the form of a normal Canadian goose.

According to his basic knowledge and what he had been taught, the goose was notable for flying long distances for a long period. Currently, the body-cultivator's wings were burning and extremely sore. His eyes couldn't fully blink anymore and his body was basically trembling.

However, though exhausted beyond comprehension, the teenager persevered as he pushed himself closer to his destination. With a view of a city skyline ahead of him, Chris was sure with himself that he was getting closer, but from the corner of his eye, he noticed a smaller settlement that was oddly set up in a crater of all places.

"Ignore it, Chris. We're almost there. We're almost…." Once again, Chris noticed a certain orange haired person leaning over to another person that seemed to be in fear. He quickly used the last bits of energy left and turned himself into a falcon, allowing him to swoop down at a much faster speed.

Once he got close enough, he flew behind a worn-down house where he turned back to normal and stole a couple of clothes to cover his manhood. He then quickly run to the orange haired person, hoping for it to be Ace but alas, to his disappointment, it was only a girl. "She looks oddly familiar." He whispered to himself.

Cherry noticed Chris looking at him while she threatened the loud man, so she quickly deformed into her normal state and looked back at Chris. For a moment, the two teens starred at each other in a peculiar and inquisitive manner. Chris kept turning his head sideways as he squinted his eyes while Cherry starred back with discomfort written allover her.

"Are you lost, or something?" She asked, finally breaking the ice between them.

"Sorry, you're not the person I was looking for." Chris replied.

"Neither are you, now beat it." Chris couldn't help but notice how there was a slight similarity between Ace's voice and the girl in front of him. He inched a little closer and asked, "Do you by any chance know a boy with orange hair and red eyes?"

"THAT'S HIM!!" The loud man shouted in terror. "THE ONE WHO ATTACKED US. IT WAS A BOY WITH ORANGE HAIR AND DEMON RED EYES…LIKE HER!!" The man pointed at Cherry who replied with a smile and an air kiss.

"Wait, Ace did this?" Chris wondered. Cherry, on the other hand, turned around quickly and headed for the exit. However, the loud man kept shouting, "DEMON BOY. EVIL. SHE'S LIKE HIM," and this was starting to upset her.

"SEIZE HER," The loud man shouted crazily, "SHE'S LIKE HIM. SHE HAS DEMON BLOOD IN HER." As Cherry moved closer to the exit, more people started to surround her as they grabbed a small weapon or anything close to them that could injure her.

Cornered and feeling trapped, Cherry hoped that she didn't have to go to extreme measures to get herself out of this. To make things worse for her, there were lots of innocent little children watching and the last thing she wanted to do was traumatize them for life.

"Alright," Cherry threw her hands up. "You win. I surrender. Just take…me…in…" The girl winked at Chris before dropping to the ground and spinning as fast as she could. Dust begun to slowly gather around her as it grew outward. Soon, those around her took a few steps back as dust shot into their eyes.

While spinning, Cherry used blood tentacles to further propel her body as she gathered momentum and speed. Chris, on the other hand, turned his legs into cheetah legs, developed a cheetah's lungs and heart and run circles around everyone else. Once he too gathered enough speed, she run through Cherry's dust cloud, carried her from it and made a hasty escape.

Chris made sure to move a few yards away before he finally let Cherry down. The two, who barely met, laughed for a short while before Cherry cut it short by walking away from Chris.

"Hey, I didn't catch your name," Chris followed. "My name's Chris, by the way. Err…I think I know who your brother is. His name is Ace, right?"

Cherry stopped in her footsteps, turned around slowly and starred dead right into Chris's eyes. She then calmly walked towards him and said, "How do you know who Ace is?" A blood dagger slowly formed in her palm as she inched closer to his face.

Chris's heart began beating much faster as he started to get scared a little by Cherry's behavior. "Look, your brother is a friend from school, alright."

"Lies," Cherry barked. "Ace was a loner. He never had any friends. He was more of a loser than I was."

"That's a little harsh, especially coming from his sister." Chris joked and instantly earned himself a dagger that was placed on his neck. "Look, little girl. I'm not here to fight with you, okay?" He said in hopes of calming the already intense situation between the two of them. "Your brother's in danger. Incase you didn't know, the aliens sent a video world wide with a bounty on his head. If we don't save him, they might kill him for whatever he did to them."

Cherry calmed down for a moment and took in a deep breath. She had a slight idea about what happened to Ace and how the Granians were after him, but she didn't know where to start looking for him. "Fine," She sternly replied. "Where do we start? We don't have any idea where he could be at this time."

"True," Chris replied. "But I do know someone who isn't far from here that can help us track him. He's very good at finding….people and getting them to safety but I can't do this alone. You have to help me. For the sake of your brother, okay?"

Cherry simply nodded in agreement and together with Chris started their journey to this someone who could help them find Ace quicker.
