CH28:GREAT ESCAPE.

[GRANIAN MOTHERSHIP.]

[CHERRY'S CELL]

For the past few hours, Cherry sat in one place for an extremely long time without moving a single muscle. The two men in the other cells noticed this and they tried asking her what exactly she was doing, but Cherry didn't respond or even look their way.

"Do…do you think she's alright?" The round, middle-aged man at the last cell asked the one in the middle."

"I don't know." The man in the middle cell coughed as he took a rest on the bare floor. Lately, his physique changed from slim to bony skinny, since he refused to consume any blood, no matter how much the others and the Granians pleaded.

"You alright, mate?" The round man asked. "You don't look too good. If you don't eat, you'll die."

"I'd rather die than….than become a slave to these blasted aliens." He said as he coughed. His lack of nourishment made him extremely weak and the blood mutant gene began to feed on his blood in order for it to survive.

"Listen here, lad." Round man said. "I know you don't want to listen to these creatures but you have to eat something."

"I REFUSE TO CONSUME BLOOD." He shouted back. "IT'S DISGUSTING AND TERRIBLE."

"Then I'll leave you behind." Cherry said as she stood up. "I'm hatching an escape plan, but I don't need some weak excuse of a man dragging me behind."

"Who the hell are you calling weak, child?" The slim man asked angrily but his eyes sunk deeper into his body as his energy slowly slipped away from his body.

"You're dying but you still refuse to eat." Cherry said. "Here. Take this." From the ceiling of his cell came a large, long, red tentacle with a live Granian wrapped in it. The poor alien tried setting itself free but Cherry's grip through the tentacle was too powerful.

"I…I can't….I can't do it." He replied. Cherry made the tentacle grow another extension which she used to wrap around the weak man's body.

"I'll force you to eat then." Cherry's tentacle forced the weak man's jaws open as the one holding the Granian grew even smaller ones that stabbed its body until it bled uncontrollably. "Drink up."

Cherry waved her arm and the green blood from the Granian left its body and got into the weak man's mouth. He thought of struggling to set himself free but the girl's power was too much for him to bare. Soon, every single drop of blood left the Granian's body, and since there was no blood left, the alien dropped to the floor dead.

The skinny man's body slowly grew much more muscular and bigger as his energy levels increased. He then looked at Cherry and thanked her with a bow. "It's…it's surprisingly delicious and minty." He said. "You have my thanks, young lady."

"It's Cherry." She said without looking at him.

"Michael." He replied.

"My name's Jonah." The round man said awkwardly.

"So, how are we escaping." Michael asked. Cherry looked at both men and said, "You two won't survive out there. Sorry but it's an eat or be eaten world and none of you will survive what I've seen."

The blood drain Cherry had made earlier returned but this time, it was almost as large as a fully grown adult. This was a skill she spent a lot of time developing and it was also how she was able to capture the Granian that fed Michael, see what was happening in the ship and now, it was going to act as her key to escaping.

"What the hell is that?" Jonah asked.

"Boys, meet my pet. I haven't given it a name yet but he's the one who has been my eyes for me. See you on the other side." Cherry's blood dummy smashed her cell's control panel. Her doors opened halfway and she quickly ran out while her blood dummy wrapped itself all over her body, turning her into her blood mutant form.

Without wasting any further time, Cherry made web like extensions and crawled on the ceiling of the ship. She did all of this quietly without alerting anyone, but a certain someone wasn't pleased with her escaping.

"HEY. HELP, HELP. SHE'S ESCAPING. HEEELLLPP!!" Michael yelled as he grinned.

"Make sure I never make contact with you, AGAIN." Cherry threatened as she went through the ship's vents. She sneakily made her way to the uppermost level of the ship. "What the heck's going on?"

She watched as many Granian forces made their way into escape pods that left for Earth. "Bingo. My escape route back to Earth."

*BAM!!*

Cherry smashed through the vents and roared mightily as she made a large, blood scythe tentacle. The Granians were caught off guard and before they knew it, the girl had severely injured all of them, some to the point of death. Cherry turned back to normal as she walked casually to one of the escape pods.

"Not like you can understand me, but I commend you for your efforts to cage me." She looked at them and said. "You all made a mistake giving me this power. Too bad you won't be seeing me anytime soon. Otherwise I'd finish you all off." Cherry stepped into an escape pod which slowly set itself into position to leave.

"AAHHH, NOT SO FAST." Grand Master growled while he destroyed Cherry's escape pod piece by piece. "I'M NOT LETTING ANOTHER ESCAPE."

"HEY, LET GO." Cherry said while she partially transformed her arm and knocked the lights out of Grand Master. The Granian may have been taken care of but the damage he caused was too critical. "F*ck. I don't have time to get into another one. Damn it."

The escape pod had a large hole in it so Cherry patched it up with her transformed arm. Before she knew it, the pod was already out of the ship and on its way to Earth. "I'm coming home, Ace. I'm coming." She said while tears of joy and agony rolled down her face. "You'll pay for leaving me behind."
