While humanity struggles to survive, one particular characters gets chosen to become a walking weapon for the Alien Race, The Granians. Ace Underwood, who was one of the unlucky thousands that got abducted,wakes up to find himself inside a green tube. With no idea what's going on, he manages to escape only to learn of his new changed form. CH146: A CALL FOR WAR
"GET OUT OF THERE, RIGHT NOW!!" Grim shouted as all the corpses surrounding the building lit up and exploded. The blast was so strong and powerful that it shook the building's foundations. Grim quickly dug his sword into the ground and used it as an anchor to keep him from being blown away. As the blasts raged on, he was hit by loose, flying debris which bounced off his tough armor.
The building's columns shook and broke, causing it to become extremely unstable. The explosion caused the ground to shake, dust almost twenty feet high rose and blinded Grim's vision. The booming, catastrophic noise deafened him for a moment but he still gripped as hard as he could onto his sword's handle.
