7 Chapter-7<Planning-1>
"Hello there… If you want your little boy alive then comply with my commands. Or you will never be able to see your precious boy's face again. Do you understand?" The man said. To which Sherly nodded her head.
"Good then. I will remove my hands so that you can speak. But if you scream you will never be able to see your boy's face again." The man said and then he removed his hands from the lady's mouth.
Sherly had regained the hope that maybe her boy is still alive. And she wanted to save him. So she was ready to do anything this man said….
"Now, tell me. What happened here? Why is this village in ruins?" The man asked.
Complying with that man's orders Sherly told everything that happened that night. She told him about the beast tide, the two strangers, and the supernatural fight between the two strangers and the man that came to the inn as the guest. And as he told the man everything, the man let her go and sat there quietly on the snow and listen to what she had to say…
As Fabian heard the tale of that night, he was shocked. He had no idea whether Sherly was saying the truth or not, but if what she just narrated was true then what kind of creature was that man and those strangers. He had heard rumors that some people from the cities have the power to topple mountains. They could fly and can do various kinds of things that are incomprehensible to common folks like him.
But he had always dismissed these rumors like there was hogwash. How one can do something like this? He had a feeling that all these rumors were something that these people were spreading because living in a city is the highest honor that one could possess. And these rumors were something that someone tried to spread for the fun. After all these things were not something that a person can do.
He started to feel that there someone must have been exaggerating the fight that happened that night. But it was the Fabian remembered. That man was a guest in the suite. He somehow was able to control Fabian's and Maria's every move. Fabian had a feeling that the demon that he turned into was because of that man's bite. His skin tone and hair color are changing like that man. So maybe he had the same power as that man.
So he tried imitating that man. He looked his eyes at Sherly and concentrated hard on her eyes. Sherly was confused as to why this man was eyeing her like. She thought that maybe this man was after her body after all. But it was then all of her thought processes stopped. Her eyes lost their vigor and she then sat there like a mindless doll.
While seeing her in this state, a smile appeared on Fabian's face...
As Fabian saw calmness in Sherly's eyes and saw that her eyes had lost their vigor, he understood that he was right. He did have the power to control people like that man did. But this power came at a cost. He could feel that he was losing some energy just by controlling. And he won't be able to hold her in this state for long. So he had to be fast in what he wanted to do…
"All the things that you told me… Are they all true?" fabian asked.
"Yes," Sherly answered.
"Even about the supernatural fight that you told me about?" Fabian asked.
"Yes," Sherly said.
"Ok… Hey, wait... Is Maria alive?" Fabian asked. As he remembered that the man gave Maria a ring to hide. That ring must be valuable. So he thought that he should confiscate that ring from her. Maybe then he would sell it. The money earned from the ring would be useful in his future endeavors.
"Yes. She is alive." Sherly said.
"That is good," Fabian said.
It was then Fabian noticed that Sherly was slipping away from his control. And she was regaining back her control over her body. He didn't want to waste any time. So without any delay, he pounced at her once again. Then he started sucking her blood.
The amount of blood in Sherly's body was way more than her kid. And after drinking her blood he was finally satisfied. It felt as if though his stomach was finally full after starving for hundreds of years. Fabian didn't notice at that moment, but while he was drinking the blood of Sherly, all of his hair turned white. And now his whole body looked pale white. He had become more muscular than before. And overall strength of his body had also increased.
After drinking all of the blood of Sherly's body, Fabian saw that just like Jory, her body had also become a brownish-black mummy. He then checked her dead body for anything useful. And luckily he found a small ax in her coat. She must have brought it with her for protection. Unluckily she was not able to use it…
Then Fabian grabbed the mummy of Sherly and started running back towards his house while hiding from Jory's search party. As he was coming back, Fabian started noticing that the power of his body had increased again. He was way faster and stronger than before. From this, he concluded that he would get stronger and stronger as he drinks more blood…

Fabian roamed around the village until the search party went inside the inn again. Strong winds had started blowing across the village. From this temperature had dipped even further. Seeing this Fabian assumed that these guys won't come out of the inn till morning. As he was immune to cold, Fabian wanted to spend his night out to get familiar with this body.
After the search party went in, Fabian ran around the village like a mad dog. He likes the sensation of running very much. Plus the more he run, the more proficient he would get in running. With his ability to see at night Fabian was fine while roaming in the storm. After a while, Fabian made his camp in one of the houses of the village.
He then started making a plan for his future. And how should he operate in the future…
Fabian understood that he had become a demon. So there was no denying the fact that he had become the enemy of Cassius church and all the people that follows them. That meant these people would hunt him down if they got suspicious about his identity. So Fabian decided that he would not let anyone find out about his true identity no matter what.
He knew that his pale skin will also stand out from the crowd. Because normal people like him don't possess such pale white skin and white hair. He had already noticed that the changes that had occurred after he drank the blood of Sherly. His features make cause some trouble for him. But that was something that he should think about in the future.
Fabian then started thinking about food. He didn't know much what kind of demon he was or what kind of food he could eat. But he had the feeling that from this day onwards he might not be able to consume normal food. He remembers that the guest that stayed in the suite never ordered any food or drinks from the restaurant. And most of the time he would be holed up in his room.
So he would not be able to human food again. That bummed him out a little bit. But it was then Fabian realized something. He knew that the guest in the suite was a blood-sucking demon. And he had become one. So the question was how did that man survive without blood?
As far as he could tell, there were no mysterious deaths or disappearances in the village during his stay. So what did that guy feed on? Fabian didn't know much about the blood, but what he did know as that the fact that blood cannot be stored. It would go bad after some time. So there was no way did that guy survived on stored blood this long.
And he didn't even have any visitors that could have provided him with blood from time to time. So how the hell did he survive? Then Fabian started thinking that maybe he had been wrong all this time. Maybe that man survived on animal blood. Animal blood is abundant in the forest. Does that mean that he could have drunk animal blood all this time?
