19 Chapter-19<Danger-8>

There had been a prophecy foretold by a prophet of the Cassius church about a man. He foretold that when the successor of Von De Drac Ulaspas would do great things and when he will come to power, he will shake all the continents with his power. He would be the reason that many changes will occur in all the continents.

Although the prophecy does not tell what other major changes would occur because of the successor's arrival, it was very clear that the man would be the heir of Ulaspas's house and he would be the reason that vampires would become extinct once and for all. Because of this, every powerhouse in the vampiric community in the world started hunting Drac.

But Drac was strong that is why he was able to evade all the enemies for a while. But then he knew that the day would soon come when he would die for good. After all, he was not immortal. That is why he made this ring. He sealed a part of his soul in the ring with the greatest treasure that he ever created in life.

He wanted to be there to teach his heir whenever he would come. He thought that with his influence he would be able to avert the terrible faith of all the vampires. But now it seems that he was wrong…

The prophecy dictated various things. That is why Drac wanted that the prophecy should get fulfilled. He wouldn't have minded that the whole vampiric race would be erased, but he still had a soft side for the Vampiric race. After all, he was a vampire himself…

Now stuck in a Buddistist seal Drac needed to make a decision. He knew that if he sacrifices himself then he would be able to kill that vampire and save fabian. But then he would not be able to monitor how Fabian would turn out.

"Fabian… Listen to me boy!" Drac said. As he said that Fabian looked towards Drac. Fabian was in very shape right now. He was about to collapse.

"Become strong. Stronger than anyone else. But remember this… never be alone. The path to strength doesn't really needs to be lonely. Sometimes it is good to have some comrades with you…

After this night you will officially be my successor. People may call you a monster after this night. But always remember. The real monster is the world that turned you into a monster in the first place." Drac said with a smile on his face.

As Fabian heard that he started losing consciousness. And finally, he passed out…

"Wise words from a wise magus." The vampire said.

"That is correct. I am a magus." Drac said.

It was then suddenly he broke through the chains and grabbed the vampire via his neck. It was only so fast that the vampire was not able to realize what had happened…

"Die with me," Drac said.

The next time Fabian woke up, he saw that he was still in the cave. When he woke he was feeling a massive headache. He was feeling as though someone had locked him up in a huge bell and then someone just slammed and rang that bell all night long.

His whole body was shaking. After a while when he calmed down he looked at his body. He saw that most of his wounds were healed. But his body had lost a lot of weight. His body looked as though someone has just stuck some skin on a skeleton. It was then Fabian noticed was free.

He remembered that while torturing him last night the vampire had freed him from his bounds. Then he started remembering the rest of the night. Fabian looked around and saw that there was a burned body lying not too from his place. As he saw that burned body Fabian got curious about whose body that could be.

If he remembers correctly then other than him and the vampire there was no third person present. But then Fabian remembered what the ghost told him. His words were wise and seemed like the words that someone might say during their last stand…

'Did the ghost sacrifice his life for me?' Fabian thought.

Fabian then with great effort stood up and started walking towards the burned body. The face of that body was burned so severely that it was very hard to tell whose body was it. But then on further inspection, Fabian found his ring in the hands of the burned body. It was then it was confirmed that this body belonged to the vampire. Fabian took the ring and put it back on.

Fabian started feeling guilty as that ghost saved him. Fabian was a stranger. Yet that old man nonetheless decided to be his master. And Fabian who instead of being thankful, became suspicious of that old man. But yesterday that old man proved that he was a good man after all. He saved his life.

Then Fabian looked at himself once again. He hated himself. He was powerless when that vampire took him. If he wasn't saved by that old man he would have died a dog's death. He hated the fact that some people in the world could kill so many people with a snap of their fingers. While all he could do is pray that he doesn't come across any of them.

Fabian then breathed heavily. He made a promise that day to himself. He promised himself that he would never be this powerless ever again. He would become strong. He would become so strong that no one would ever have to sacrifice themselves to help him. From today onwards, he would leave the identity of Fabian, the crippled boy behind. And become someone else entirely.

"I will be someone that Von De Drac Ulaspas be proud of," Fabian mumbled with determination.

He would never forget what that ghost did for him yesterday. So Fabian thought to honor him he should change his name as well…

So he decided he would take his name…

That is why took 'Drac' and 'Ula' from Ulaspas and combined them …

Hence from today onwards, he would be called Dracula…
