Chapter-15<Danger-4>

Fabian thought that he had figured out everything. With Martha and Maria in his control, he would be able to live off as a leech for now. Then he would find another source of food. Everything was going exactly as he planned. But then all of his plans came crumbling down.

Fabian was sitting on his desk, trying to decide which of the inn members of kill and which one to save. But it was then he felt something weird. It was hard for him to describe the feeling that he felt back then. It was like the very air that he was breathing had become heavy somehow. He was having trouble breathing.

But Fabian had no idea what was causing all of this. But it was then he sensed that everyone in the inn suddenly vanished. Before he could feel them breathe or move around in the building. But then in an instant, all of them vanished in thin air. As he felt that everyone vanished, Fabian got from his seat and came out of his office.

He didn't know what had happened but the air now feel normal as everyone had vanished. He was about to go to the upper floors to see what had happened but it was then he sensed danger. But before he could even react a blue color snake-like thing came to the basement penetrating all the floors and then that thing wrapped itself onto his leg.

And before Fabian knew it, he was being pulled up by that thing. He went through all the floors of the inn, only to be hanged in the middle of the air above the inn. When Fabian was going through all the floors, all the pressure from crossing through all the floors fractured his rib bones.

When he came out from the inn, he could feel pain all around his torso. But the pain that he was feeling was nothing that he witnessed next. He saw that he was being held by an old man with a blue color snake-like thing in the middle of the air. He was flabbergasted when he saw that. He didn't know that humans could fly like this. And what kind of being this old man is if he can fly. Was he a god?

As Fabian saw what that old man was doing he started getting frightened. Because he had realized that why he stopped feeling that everyone in the inn just vanished in thin air. He realized that if a man can do this sort of thing then he may as well be able to kill everyone in the inn with a snap of fingers.

He was confused as to why this old man wanted to kill him. Was it because he had become a demon? Maybe this old man was from Cassius church and he was here to hunt him down. But how the hell did this old man find his location? He made sure that he didn't leave any sort of clue. Maybe this old man found the two bodies that hid by his old house…

Many theories started popping up in Fabian's mind one after the other. He didn't what he should do now. But he was now 100% sure that this was his last day in this world. He would die after this. But as he had made up his mind that he would die, Fabian then felt a twist on his leg.

He felt the twist on the leg that had been wrapped up by the blue color snake-like thing. And before he knows it he was flung in the air and thrown away. As fabian was about to crash into the ground he felt that something zoomed past him. That thing was so fast that he was only able to see a glimpse of a black color humanoid figure running towards the old man.

As Fabian crashed onto the ground he fell hard. Even the snow on the ground was not able to cover his fall. At first, he was not sure whether his rib cage was broken or not. But now he was sure that his rib cage was indeed broken. The pain was unbearable to fabian, but still, he managed to stay conscious somehow.

And then what he witnessed next was both magnificent as well as terrifying. Fabian witnessed the fight between the old man and the black figure. He saw how terrifying the old man really was. And it was then after observing some time he realized that the black figure was a demon just like him. And he was terrifying as well.

But it was then their fight was joined in by another demon who looked just like him as well. That meant she was also a demon like him. And when the second demon joined the fight, Fabian started moving. He was already terrified that these guys could turn him into mincemeat in a second. And he didn't want to be caught in the crossfire between them. So he decided that it was the best time to flee.

Fabian got with a lot of effort and started walking towards the Kalgan forest. He started walking in the direction of the nearest village. He didn't know whether he would be able to survive or not. But he wanted to try and survive no matter what.

While walking away Fabian noticed that he was bleeding. And a piece of wood had a piece at his shoulder. And his shoulder was bleeding. He saw that his blood was black, but the blood coming out of his body was very dense. That is why his wound didn't have a lot of blood flowing out of it. That meant he was fine for now.

But he didn't know will be able to survive this?
