"Huff... Huff... Huff..."

As the unknown man covered more and more distance jumping over the houses with great speed, I felt my condition worsen.

I could hardly breathe, let alone speak, my eyes started to lose focus and became quite heavy amd I felt my as if my limbs were not even attached to my body because the felt paralysed due to lack of strength in my body.

The man looked down at me as I had become extremely quiet and still.

"Shit!", said the man in the black coat.

"I need to hurry!", thought the man and increased his speed even more.

"Haah... Why is this happening?", I thought.

A few minutes later, both of us reached an old white dome shaped building. It seemed old but it was certainly well maintained. There was a grand garden infront of the building filled with white roses.

The man rushed inside the building through a huge gate and bright white light hit my eyes. The ceiling was huge and the interior was also white in colour.

There was a man wearing a white cloak with golden thread embroidered onto it standing with his back towards the gate but as he heard the sound of the the door opening, he immediately looked back.

"!!"

"COME FAST! COME FAST! WE NEED TO HURRY!", shouted the old man.

"ITS READY, RIGHT?", shouted he man who was carrying me while pacing towards the centre of the building where a pool containing some crimson red fluid could be seen.

"Yes, yes! It is ready!", said the old man looking at Clovis who was extremely weak.

As the man in the black cloak reached the pool, he said,

"Please excuse me."

"!!!"

"Sto-"

He had dumped me into the pool!

I was now fully covered in that red liquid and as I drowned deeper and deeper, my consciousness faded.

"Is this how I die...?", I asked myself as I looked into the fluid. All I could see was red.

Suddenly, I heard a voice.

"Wake up.", said the voice.

As soon as I heard it, all the pain disappeared and I felt an enormous amount of power within myself with which I swam up to the surface and came out of the liquid.

"Cough cough! Cough!"

The man in the black coat helped me come out and I sat on the floor coughing.

"Give me the towel.", said the man to the old man and he passed the huge black towel to him that he picked from the ancient white marble table. It was as if they had already prepared everything in advance.

After a few minutes of staring into blank space, I snapped back into reality. I lifted my face to look at the man infront of me who had kidnapped me from my home when I was having a sezure!

The man was so handsome!!!!

He had pale skin with sharp features and a wide chest with broad shoulders. He had long white straight hair with yellow eyes.

"... I feel like I have seen him somewhere...

Vampires.... The world I live in consists of many magical creatures and one of them is vampires.

The beings that have been relying on human blood for survival for many centuries. They have been a part of the world since time immemorial so humans and vampires learnt live in harmony with each other. There have been certain instances of war in the past but after that was sorted out, peace arrived on earth.

He is the person who has ruled over vampires for over 500 years. I had often seen his pictures all over social media due to his popularity, power and amazing looks. Even all of the girls in my class like to talk about him when they get together.

People always talked about him but he never gave any interviews or speeches so no one knew anything about him other than the fact that none of the vampires could challenge him or defy his orders.

Schools for human and vampire children were different so we were not taught much about the history of the vampire clan.

"Please try to breathe with your mouth. It will be more helpful.", said Klaus.

"There was something about the fluid that made me calm down. This means that he knows about what happened to me. But how?", I thought.

"What is going on? Can you tell me how you kidnapped me from my home at the exact time that I had this sezure. How you know my address when we have never met each other and why I am okay now after being thrown amd drowned into that pool of god knows what?"

"Yes, I will tell you everything but we need to change our location first."

As he opened his mouth to say this, my focus went to his extremely sharp canines and I suddenly remembered his superhuman strength by which he had brought me here.

My face paled. I knew nothing about this man that was sitting infront of me.

"N-no. I will not go anywhere. Y-You're a vam-"

Suddenly, I felt dizzy and as my consciousness faded I fell to the ground.

"Your Majesty!!!!"
