CHAPTER 4: LaBelle University Part 2

Noctis open his eyes and welcome by the interior design of his room. He sit up and hold his head, he can remember what happened last time and he's worried that he might do something on the person he saw that time when he lost his consciousness. 

"Don't worry, he's fine."

Noctis glared on the guy wearing an eyeglass while sitting comfortably on the couch inside his room while reading a book. 

"Hey, stop glaring at me. I was ordered to guard you while you're knock-out for two days."

"Two days?" 

"Yes.", he stand up and walk towards the door. "By the way, Mama said you have to attend your class today a surprise waiting for you."

But as usual, Noctis didn't attend his morning class he went to the infirmary to sleep more. His body weakening each day since he's refusing to drink a blood. He's fine for the past years with just eating medium rare cooked meat but lately he's tempted to taste a fresh blood. That's why he's avoiding places with humans, he don't know how much bloodlust he can hold and he don't want to take a risk. 

Noctis resting when he felt a presence near him. He grabbed the wrist of the hand that about to touch him, he opened his eyes and saw the girl sitting beside his bed. He sit up and move away from her. 

"What are you doing, Lianne?" 

"Ah, Young Master I'm sorry. I heard you're not feeling well so I came to check your condition." 

"I'm fine. You can leave now."

"Lady Selene said that your bad condition is because you refuse to drink packed blood. I'm here to offer you my blood."

"Stop. I won't drink yours or any human's blood."

"But ook at yourself, you'll be in trouble once your birthday come. Having an unstable condition will put you in danger. Please Young Master we can't face Lord Vladimir if something bad happened to you."

Lianne open the first three buttons of her uniform blouse, exposing a white skin of her cleavage and neck. As a member of family from Blood donor, it's a shame if one of the clan members they are serving die due to starving from blood while they are there and supposed to do their role. 

"Please, Young Master drink as much as you want.", Lianne said while holding Noctis' hands and put it on her neck letting him feel the flow of a fresh blood. 

Noctis gulped from the sight, he unconsciously lick his lower lip. 

"Young Master...", Lianne came closer and tilted her head to the side to offer her neck. 

Noctis' golden eyes become hazy from the temptation of fresh blood in front of him. But he shake his head and push Lianne from the shoulder. 

"Young Master..." 

"D-Don't do that again."

"But... How about you?" 

"Please, Lianne. Don't treat yourself just as a food for any vampire not even for me. For me you're a friend and I don't want to do that to you." 

"That's why I can't stay put to see you suffering like this because you're a precious friend for me."

"I'll be fine. When father wake up, I won't suffer anymore.", Noctis said with a small smile. 

Noctis don't know when his father will wake up or if he can hold more and wait for him to wake up. But he won't treat his friend as a food. He'll rather choose to be locked on basement than do that. He's a vampire and their race treated as a monsters for a long time but he don't want to be treated as a monsters by his friend.

Noctis' nose twitched when he smell the tempting scent of a blood from a fresh wound. 

Meanwhile... 

It's Klay first day in school and he's so excited. He felt like a kid going to school for the first time. And he's Thankful for Pierre, he brought his bike too with his other thing. He even take care for the permission letter to use it in LaBelle. 

"A permission letter to use a bicycle?" 

"Yeah. Don't worry they just check if it's made of normal metal."

"What metal could my bike be made of? Gold?", Klay mumbled. 

Pierre smile a little, "Who knows? If it's a silver it will be a problem." 

"Silver?" 

"Anyway, take this with you all the time."

Pierre put a golden badge on the left side chest of Klay's uniform. It's a diamond shape badge with small ruby crystal around each side and two crescent moon on the middle, one big crescent and the small one is below it, the insignia of Von Sanguis Clan. 

"This is a gift from Madame. Don't take it off, especially when you're alone. It's your protection here."

"Ahm, okay."

After that Klay ride his bike and went to the University, it took almost 20 minutes for him to go in school with a bike. He made a mental note that he need to leave the dorm earlier so he won't be late in school. 

His first class is a Biology class, he went to his assigned room while looking on the map as his guide inside the campus. 

"Okay, class listen. We have a new student in LaBelle please be good to him.", the Professor said and signed Klay to enter the room. 

Klay felt an intense gaze from the students wearing a black blazer as uniform. "Hello, my name is Klay Russel."

"Huh? A new student in the middle of school year?" 

"Maybe it's an special admission."

Klay heard the student whispering. 

"Tsk."

"Look what's on his uniform.", a girl in black uniform said and most of those students like her hissed in disappointment. 

"Off-limit." 

"What a waste, he looks delicious."

The professor clap his hand, "Okay, that's enough. Mr. Russel you can sit on vacant seat at the back. But please don't choose the one near the window, that's taken and don't open the curtain." 

"Okay Sir.", Klay answer with a frown. 

He just realized that all of the windows are close and have a thin curtain that enough for a small sunlight to go inside. He went on the back and saw a three vacant seat, the one near the window and the next one to it are all empty while the third one has a pink bag. So he choose the middle one since the first seat was taken.

While listening to the lesson, Klay can still feel a strong pressure from the ominous stares and it's coming from everywhere although no one looking at him. His head starting to ache and not too long, his nose bleed from pressure.

"Oh, shit...", Klay cover his nose. 

He heard a creaking sounds from the chairs and when he looked around, those students wearing a black uniform are now looking at him and ready to attack him any moment. 

"GUYS , CALM DOWN!", The Professor yelled with an authoritative voice. 

"Aaaah!" 

"Kyaah!"

Those students suddenly kneeling on the floor while grabbing their head and screaming from pain.

"Mr. Russel come with me. I'll bring you in the infirmary.", the Professor said without caring on the students in pain. 

"But Sir... How about them?" 

"They'll be fine, don't worry."

The Professor took him on the infirmary and it's noticeable that the other students coming out in their classroom but after looking straight on the Professor's eyes they went back inside their classroom. 

'Something is weird here.', Klay said to his self. 

Infirmary :

"You can go inside first, I'll report this to the Dean."

"Huh?...okay."

Klay open the door, he saw a wide room with twenty single bed with curtains each. Among the beds there is only one bed being occupied. Klay avert his eyes when he saw a couple on the bed and with the girl's appearance he came in the wrong time. 

'Why they are doing that here in school? And they didn't even lock the door!' 

"S-sorry... I should knock first... I'll be back later."

"No. You can stay.", the guy said. "Help him, Lianne."

Klay frown when the guy leave the room while covering his nose but he saw him biting his own lip. He take a looked at him in a second when he passed by on him and his eyes has a red dot on it. 

"Sorry for that. Come, I'll assist you."

"Ah, thanks.", Klay said feeling embarrassed from what he witness but the girl seems like not bothered at all. 

She help him after fixing her uniform. She's wearing a white uniform like him but it seems like she's the quiet type of student. 

'But she has a gut for being a quiet type.'

"Done. The bleeding stop.", she said in monotone. 

"Thank you. I'm really sorry, I forgot to knock the door but I swear I won't tell to anyone what I saw..."

"It's fine. You're a new student?" 

"Y-yes."

The girl named Lianne was surprised when she saw the badge on his chest. "That... who gave you that?" 

"Oh, Mr. Sotello gave it to me. He said it's a gift from Miss A."

Lianne frown while looking at him then she sigh, "We're done. You can go back to your room now. I'll do the record first don't worry I am a volunteer in infirmary."

"I see... Then, I'll go back first. Thank you again."

Klay left and didn't see the jealousy from Lianne's eyes.
