Awkward Situation
"My My… Maybe I should've warned him sooner… Well, this just means I'll have to talk to his crazy father later…"
Shrugging up her shoulders with a carefree expression painted on her face, Ellen went back to her work while seemingly talking to herself…
"What an interesting boy… What do you think about him, Sophie?"
Ellen might be looking like a crazy girl talking to herself right now, but if someone could listen to her thoughts they'd be surprised to hear another, lame voice different from her original friendly voice answering her question with an annoyed tone…
"Tsk, he's nothing special, all his traits come from his daddy, I'm sure he's just a little rich spoiled kid… And he was only able to survive this long because of his relationship with his dad… You shouldn't think too much of him, Ellen… As I said, he's just a spoiled brat…"
Ellen let out a taunted laugh as she focused on doing her job for real this time…

After less than three hours,
Kai opened his beautiful calm blue eyes with a lazy mood on the scene of the white ceiling he became familiar with in the past day… he felt pain everywhere in his body and his brain was suffering as well from a severe headache… The situation he was in right now gave him a sense of deja-vu as he remembers he just woke up the exact same way before passing out again…
While he was still feeling dizzy, Kai's brain was suddenly washed with a wave of warming heat bringing with it a swell of new information that sunk into his mind like it has always been there, similar enough to his ability to breathe, walk or swallow…
Kai's eyes opened widely in shock while some weird sounds and mumbles started coming out of his mouth without his knowledge…
But before he could settle it down, he felt something moving on his side, turning his head slowly to get an idea about the nature of what was on his side, Kai's blue eyes met with the recently familiar red eyes of a beautiful female…
Kai and the girl both stared at each other for a few good seconds before they both slowly moved their eyes towards Kai's thigh area making them catch the sight of the girl's body leaning on his own…
The situation was so wrong and would make anyone who comes in right now make their own-false- assumptions about the two as the girl's hand was touching Kai's chest in the most s*xual way…
What was even worse was the fact that one of the girl's legs was rubbing against Kai's special area making him truly uncomfortable as it sent chills down his spine…
The girl, realizing what she was doing, instantly withdrew as she tried to hide her embarrassment but failed miserably to do so…
"Ellen, would you mind explaining what the hell you were doing on top of me…?"
"Mhm, uh… Would you believe me if I told you I didn't mean to do that…?!"
The girl, who was obviously Ellen, was feeling so embarrassed that her cheeks became as red as a tomato. She had no idea how to explain herself in this situation because she just thought that there was plenty of room for the two of them on the bed to sleep…
After all, she was feeling really uncomfortable sleeping on that small chair beside her…
*Sigh
"Whatever… Just give me a hand… I can't move freely that much, and my head hurts…"
Kai asked politely for her help to get him up as he tried to sort things out in his head because too many things were happening too quickly.
After a few minutes of incredibly awkward silence for Ellen who was seeing Kai's thoughtful expression, but thankfully she didn't have to wait for much longer before Kai spoke again with his same even soft yet manly voice.
"Hey Ellen, did my dad come here yet to check on me?!"
"Ah… No, but I just called him to tell him that you're awake, he should be here at any second…"
Shortly after she finished her sentence the door was slammed as Kai's father came bursting into the room.
His enthusiastic expression made it seem as if he was some kid whose parents bought him the Christmas present he was always asking for.
"D… Dad…"
Kai called his dad with a tired tone as he wore an exhausted expression on his face while raising his hand in a deliberate yet sluggish way, when his hand was gradually lifted with his finger slightly curled, Kai waited for his dad to answer…
Kim went to his son's side instantly holding his arm, though it was unusual for his son to show that much emotion as even when he was in trouble he would just keep a straight face and think about solutions calmly…
But Kim didn't care about his son's odd behaviors today as he was so excited to know the type of ability his son got, after all, depending on the power his son got, he might finally be able to achieve his goal and purpose of all his experiments he has been doing for the last decade.
But after a few seconds of making physical contact with his son's hand, he started feeling a headache before his eyes started losing their colourful magnetic charm as well as the confidence that was once shining out of them as their alluring, captivating radiance slowly began to fade away alongside the intensity and sharpness inside his gaze.
Eventually, the luster inside his eyes gradually diminished as the beauty of them began to disappear leaving his eyes as hollow as an empty void.
Kim stood there frozen with an expressionless look on his face for a good minute before his eyes progressively got back to normal slowly gaining back their clarity, and when they did, he looked at Kai with a disgusted face before he mumbled a few words in a sad, disappointed tone.
"I was expecting more of you… You made me disappointed…"
Kai's face turned into an expression of sadness and shame as he lowered his eyes unable to look into his father's eyes.
And before he was able to think of anything to say, Kim left the room without leaving any chance or room for Kai to argue or say anything about his father's sudden change of emotions and actions.
After Kim was completely out of the room Kai's previous sad expression switched up 180 degrees as a grin grew on his face while thinking to himself.
'Heh… Memory manipulation huh…? What an interesting ability. This is gonna be fun…'
