Five Years Later.

Upstairs is the quiet corridor of the Starlight Bar. Alice is seen with a red face from drinking too much all night to accompany several investors who will tie up cooperation with her family's company.

After Alice's return from abroad, Alice becomes an assistant to Dena's secretary named Luna. Luna is a spinster, who devotes herself to serving the Reksa family running their family company.

And now, Alice must accompany Dena to direct Dena to become the heir to PT. Reksa Karya.

PT. Reksa Karya is a company owned by the Mutual family that is engaged in the ready-to-use wood processing industry, which will later be made into various kinds of wood-based products.

And tonight, Alice is assigned to accompany potential investors to be more interested in collaborating with PT. Reksa Karya.

Because Alice always looks attractive and is also fluent in foreign languages, therefore it was Alice who was sent by Luna as a company representative.

While Dena, who is not very interested in corporate affairs, is always busy pursuing her career as a model and movie star.

Roughly speaking, Alice runs the company, while Dena only has to reap the success of Alice's sweat and efforts.

Return to the Starlight Bar balcony. Alice held her head which was dizzy from the drink she had drunk so much. Alice wanted to be alone right now, looking for some free fresh air on the top floor of the four-story building.

She didn't expect it, the sound of tapping high heels on the floor was the sound of Luna's footsteps following her.

Alice could only sigh heavily to deal with it.

"Alice, is it true that you're also auditioning for an advertisement for a soap brand from that famous company, tomorrow?" Luna asked matter-of-factly.

"Yes, then why? Alice replied nonchalantly.

"You can't go to that audition!" with a commanding tone, Luna forbade it.

But Alice instead took it casually as if she was used to it.

"Can you tell me a good reason other than the reason that Dena is the only one going to audition?" said Alice casually, raising an eyebrow as she looked at Luna.

"You were assigned by the company to check the stock of raw materials that will be produced soon. So you won't be going anywhere in two days!" Luna gave Alice an excuse.

"Oh, is that so? But, if I finish my work on time and don't interfere with the company's business, it shouldn't be a problem, will it?" Alice smiled crookedly looking at Luna who couldn't say any more.

"Dena told you to tell me this? Don't tell me she's afraid I'll take her place in the ad?"

"What should a Dena be afraid of from me? She's a famous artist who has it all, and me? I'm just a little model who just grew up through a talent agency. What should she be afraid of me?" Alice spoke again.

"Yes, as you said, you are not a threat to Dena. So, don't ever dream of rivaling her!" Luna adores Dena like a real Goddess.

"So what are you worried about? I'm not a threat to her, am I?"

"Because you and Dena are my responsibility. My family, grandmother, and mother, owe their service to the Mutual family. So, you are my responsibility to continue advancing the Reksa company. And I don't want the two of you to focus on the company."

"Let Dena have a career outside, and you stay here as a company promoter! Since you are my responsibility, so obey my orders, Alice!"

Luna said as if she were Alice's parents. Even though her parents didn't care about Alice's condition and fate. They only need Alice's power and skills.

"Wow, you are the best, Luna when my parents just don't care about my situation, and you still acknowledge me as your responsibility. Great!"

Alice chuckled happily while praising Luna with a sarcastic smile for her terrible acting.

"Don't fight with me, Alice! I could make you regret every word you just said for disobeying orders and mocking me. I have full permission to control you!" finished speaking, Luna left from there and left Alice alone.

"Hah! What a disgusting licker!" Alice sneered at Luna who had walked away from her.

The headache that Alice had been feeling had lessened a lot. Alice came down from the balcony to the bottom floor of the bar.

Alice was quite surprised when there was no one in the bar. Alice walked over to the main door, and yes, it was shut and locked tight.

"You guys cheated on me again, huh? This is the cheesiest trick I've ever seen!"

Alice knew that this was Luna's ploy to keep her from auditioning tomorrow. What can't Luna do with the power of money?

But those weak tricks weren't strong enough to deal with the current Alice.

"Let's never mind! Please have some fun time on top of my misery. I'm enjoying your little tricks instead!" muttered Alice with a smile.

Alice lay down on the bar table which was clean enough to sleep on. Rests her head with both hands. Staring at the dark bar ceiling.

"Why haven't you changed a bit's been five years and I've even changed. I'm no longer the Alice you can crush like I used to be."

Alice said quietly while closing her eyes while remembering all the treatment her family had still not changed to her.

Amid her daydream, Alice's ears were too alert to hear the sound of a child being stifled from the bartender's table.

Alice opened her eyes and was on alert for a moment. Alice stepped slowly and casually closer to the bartender's table.

Alice turned her gaze behind a large table lined with various kinds of liquor.

Alice was dumbfounded, as her eyes caught the image of a small child huddled trembling under the corner of the bartender's table.

Alice reached out her hand to touch the little boy. However, the boy did not come even though Alice had repeatedly called him and kept trying to get the little one out from under the table.

"Oh, you're a shy little kid, huh? Fine, I'll wait for you to get out of there whenever you want!"

Alice went and left after having a short talk with the boy.
