11 Chapter 11 - Galactus

In the couple of chapters, I might just use my privilege as an author and add things I like. If anyone y'all played the game Oppai Odyssey and those that haven't then….you're welcome.

I wrack my head regarding our plans on fighting someone like Galactus. Perhaps we have a certain way of gaining victory with the help of Wanda and Jean but this is only possible if none of them succumb to the overwhelming power. 

They may have gotten better doesn't mean it would be perfect and the risk is immense since the clash could affect the entire solar system. This will probably kill me, not from Galactus but the girls if I were about to do this without them knowing. 

I trust them but the risk that they pose is not something I could hope to neglect since both Jean and Wanda are at a multiversal scale that I am unable to stop if they were to push past their breaking point. 

'Raphael, do you think that Jean and Wanda could defeat Galactus?'

[ I am unable to form a solid conclusion without necessary data. However, it is best that you personally confront Galactus as the collateral damage between your battle could decimate the whole solar system and other neighboring star systems. ]

'Damn, hmmm, I don't want to do this but.'

Turning my attention to the Silver surfer who remained unconscious stood up from my throne of flesh that absorbed into my shadow as I placed the tip of my spear and absorbed every last bit of his cosmic energy. 

I need armor, something that would be made from my Cosmic energy and Chaos but in different ways. My weapon was heavily dominated by Chaos with a hint of Cosmic power but this armor that I am making is far more Cosmic and less chaotic. 

'Huh? Yeah, technically it would be your sibling. Ah yes, I was planning on forging you after a month or so when we can explore the other planets.'

My daughter was already excited when I first thought about it and now it is going to happen very soon. 

"W-What are you doing!?"

"Forgive me but I need your power for this."

This time I made an extremely thick dimensional barrier by summoning clones to close our space to not leave a single drop of cosmic energy that began to seep into my body. 

Slowly my body started to change into a cosmic particle and saw using my clone's eyes that my forehead acquired glowing starlight and crown-like objects then armor-like pieces around my body were at the chest was like a center blackhole. 

My cosmic awareness is unreal and I could feel my connection to it deepen even further than before. This is what a god feels like huh? Fortunately, I didn't let it corrupt me since it could go to ruins. 

This is something that I only use when needed. And right now I'll let my clones tell Tony about the situation as the more time goes by, our doom grows closer. 

"You…You are willing to fight the inevitable?"

"Indeed I am."

"...What if you fail and die."

"It's better to die and fail than not trying."

I said as I prepared myself to confront my adversary right now. The silver surfer just watched in silence as I vanished and appeared outside the facility.

My servant would handle the rest since their creatures don't need my connection to stay existing, not like my clones and they're at least capable of handling themselves. 

"I need a ride."

I glanced at my spear and nodded as I hopped into it like a Surfboard before flying at a speed that was faster than the speed of light.

I exited the solar system within mere seconds and soon got far enough that it reached at least a few hundred last year. Frankly, I don't know how far I am but I concentrated I'm getting closer to Galactus. 

Our clash might end up destroying a few galaxies which is why it would be best if we head to somewhere that doesn't have many lifeforms. 

I've watched a death battle series where it was stated that Galactus fought Mephisto and almost decimated the entire universe. 

Killing him would highly likely be impossible as a being that would exist again for he is an abstract entity like the Phoenix. 

Perhaps I can temporarily kill him or better yet seal him away. If I consume him then it likely results in him getting born again in another place later.

Ah, I'm here. I stopped and changed my size to a planetary scale while I held my weapon prepared at the incoming entity before me. 

There in the void of space was an enormous being heading its way towards me and something about his cosmic energy that was completely different from this universe's energy.

He stood before me looking down at my presence with a hint of interest. His presence itself seemed to make me quiver but didn't hesitate to siphon the energy from him. 

"Stand aside or face the might of Galactus!"

Galactus arrogantly said. Hey, at least he's not someone who just kills without reason I guess. I pointed my weapon at him that caused him to be perplexed and intrigued by my action.

"How about no."

"Then die."

He just held out his hand and blast with his cosmic power that I evaded and began to use my weapon to attack him but he merely took with his fist that caused a ripple and turned the entire surrounding solar system to disintegrate. 

This is just getting interesting. I created a cosmic serpentine-like creature on my back and bare their fangs at Galactus who grew annoyed upon being bitten but he just scoffed it off and removed them with his bare hands while he blocked my spear attack. 

He proceeded to blast me with a Laser eye beam that pushed me back several solar systems. 

However, at that moment, I activated the reflected damage that causes the devourer of worlds to be pushed back along with me but he managed to stop himself at the same time as I did. 

"Enough of this!"

The devourer of worlds power flared as he moved in my direction with his fist directed into my face as I used my weapon to parry and attack him. I can see that he is growing weaker with every passing moment which is good. 

However, he was going into a frenzy and I don't know how long I'll take his attack. Still, I could feel it, my strength growing stronger, and as we continued to battle something within me awakening. Something I had long forgotten.

'Damn am I getting hungry?'

Now that I think about it, Yaldabaoth's title had Devourer of gods. Does that mean I can eat it and it includes entities like Galactus? Maybe, regardless I am growing hungrier. 

I didn't move and took Galactus' full force strike that decimated a small part of the Galaxy without flinching. This shocked him and then felt his arm was severed by my spear that floated like the King's weapon from nanatsu no taizai. 

Galactus was confused and bewildered by everything that was occurring. Thankfully I decided to confront him and not just let them arrive on earth since our battle had already taken out a lot of planets but fortunately most are inhabitable. 

"You! How can someone like you exist!"

I didn't say anything and opened my mouth as a row of sharp cosmic teeth opened and consumed his arms. Oh my Lord this is just delicious! Maybe I can find a more evil god very soon to devour. 

"You may be the devourer of worlds but I am the Devourer of Gods!"

"This is merely a setback. You shall face the true might of Galactus!"

He absorbed the surrounding planet that even if it was not to his liking was able to satiate his hunger enough that he emenated a vast cosmic power.

'Huh? Did he just gain more energy from it? Well that just defies logic.'

Normally if you take an energy, a small part would vanish but galactus actually gains more. 

"Scarlet!"

Hearing my word, my daughter turned into a small needle like spear then all flew towards Galactus who merely chuckled and flew towards me as I cock my fist and slammed it into his.  

Boom!

Boom! Boom!

Boom! Boom! Boom! 

Our clash dispersed a cosmic ray across the void and could feel that both of us were stealing each other's energy. 

"You cannot defeat me! I am power incarnate! To Galactus, nothing is impossible!"

His fist managed to send me flying, colliding in a supermassive star while Galactus looked down at me. 

"This is your last warning, stand aside and die or suffer!"

He held out his hand and began to collapse the star while I was on it! Before I did anything I was faced with the might of an extremely powerful explosion that I could feel the immense power. This bastard! I quickly devoured the energy and grew furious at what he just did.

"You explode another star at me, I'm gonna lose it!"

I leaped into action, grabbed his face and slammed him into a lifeless planet and began my assault gathering immense power that I absorbed from that explosion. Galactus couldn't move but explode his energy to push me back and strike my face while I did the same causing a deadlock.

Another ripple was produced as both of us stood looking at each other. Galactus was infuriated at me for surviving and kept on fighting. 

"Why won't you die!"

"Same here, pal!"

Galactus' expression became bitter, feeling his energy depleted at dangerou level that resulted into 

"I'll return and once I do you will know the might of Galactus!"

He used a tactical retreat that caught me by surprise. I am surprised that he managed to escape but at least it was enough until we found a way to completely defeat him. 

Can't blame him for escaping when he is starving and greatly weakened. I don't see him as evil and didn't really hate Galactus since he just needed to eat to live. However, I must fight for my people. 

'Ah? What's going on?'

I felt strange as if something was about to crack and explode. Did I take too much that I am on the verge of my limit? 

[ Host, you are currently experiencing a new height in your power and merely acquire to find a proper place to complete the metamorphosis of your power. You roughly have a week before the need for your fusion. ]  

Seriously? Well, I was already planning to explore space and could always return to earth if needed. 

I then turn my attention to a voices coming from my cosmic armor that acquired its own consciousness like Scarlet, my spear.

'Ah? Guess you need a name too. How about…Nova…Nova Tempest? Yeah glad you like it. Now, girls make you two get along.'

At least they can talk to each other and Scarlet won't be lonely now that she has a little sister. 

Nova soon reshaped herself into a pair of circular shades that complimented the red cross. 

"Now where are we?"

I looked around seeing that I was in the void where there was nothing around anymore since our battle had caused large-scale devastation. Considering I have the energy to spare, I took out my hands and returned everything to how it originally was. 

I've marked some that could become part of earth's colony. Once everything returned to normal when back to earth flying at immense velocity until I arrived where my brother was waiting for me.

"Again?"

"There is a perfectly good explanation for it."

"Now you owe me big time, let's go."

I nodded, heading back to the watchtower where shields were already gathered with Professor X, Magneto who have converted into the good side after the discrimination slowly faded, and strangely, Doctor Strange. The thing is that in this world, he had become the sorcerer supreme much early and had lived in the hundreds. 

Professor X and Magneto represent the Mutant kind while Doctor Strange the mystic side of the world. 

"Galactus, huh? I have read records of him from the Kamar Taj, however, most are vague descriptions."

"An entity that devours worlds. We cannot let such a creature destroy our world."

"That's why we're here. My brother earlier fought him and said that he pushed him back enough to give us more time."

"How long exactly."

"Don't know, however, if I am being pessimistic for a month."

"That's enough time, Kiddo. Hey, strange, do you have any magic for it?"

"Nothing I am aware of. However, I'll try to find ways to combat this adversary of ours."

"Now kiddo, give us a rundown of what happened during your battle with him."

I nodded and gave an illusion to show our clash that tore galaxies apart. They were dumbfounded and terrified upon witnessing our might. 

"This is…fighting such a creator would cause our solar system."

The professor exclaimed.

"That only means we should prepare even more for this kind of scenario."

Magneto sternly said. 

"Agree, we shouldn't lose hope and believe that we will overcome this enemy of ours."

Doctor Strange remarked. 

"A side note, I have to venture into outer space alone."

I chimed in that caught their interest.

"Why?"

"I have currently had an overabundance of cosmic energy that I'll have to disburse it or else."

"What!? How can you be so calm?"

"I have at least a week until then. Actually, let me try something, brother."

I took my brother outside and held out my hand toward him and soon gave him some of my cosmic power similar to how Galactus gave one to Silver Surfer. Soon Tony could feel the power cosmic flowing into his being but I made sure to give limiters to not corrupt him. 

"What did you do to me!?"

"Made you a god, an Iron god. Use this form when you need it as a last resort."

"Damn, this is just something else. Wait, couldn't you just give everyone cosmic energy?"

"Hell no, not everyone is compatible with cosmic power. I gave it to you because you're suited for it."

"Thanks, I guess."

I nodded before we returned where the others asked what happened. They gave the same questions as my brother and received the same answer. 

Afterward, we discussed the course of action. They went to execute their task while I headed to see Susan who slowly woke up holding her head.

"Easy now."

"Argh…what happened? Huh? My hands!? What's going on!?"

"Susan! Look at me."

I said as she looked at me as I tried to calm her down. I can't blame her since this is the first time she'll have superpowers that could change her life. 

"Now breathe in. Breath out. Good. Feeling better?"

She inhaled and exhaled as her hands slowly became visible. Susan felt relieved seeing her hands again. 

"Yeah…still can you tell me what happened and my hands became invisible?"

"Do you want the long version or the very long version?"

"Shouldn't it be a long and short version?"

"Well, even if it's short you start asking the question which makes it a long version."

My words made her dumbstruck before giggled at my stupid sentence.

"The long version it is then."

I started to give her the story of what happened from the beginning to the end. She became frantic when her brother was also affected but calmed down when I told her that he was safe in the other room.

"I have these powers, what now?"

"Train. Don't worry, I'll help you while staying here for a week."

"Wait where are you going?"

"Hmmm, guess this is going to be the very long version."

After a while, I gave her time alone and headed to see the silver surfer who was shocked to see me.

"You're….alive."

"Told you that I'll change that destiny you've spoken."

"...Be it as may today, he'll eventually return and lavish your world."

"Then we'll fight until the end."

He stared at me and seemed to see something that made him contemplate everything. 

"You…you burn hope that I once had. Tell me how long will that burn?"

"Even a raging storm trying to distinguish the amber of hope shall not waver by one bit."

"I see…that honest determination is what I've lost long ago."

"Tell me, would you join us in the fight and protect this world or be its enemy?"

My question seemed to catch him by surprise as I returned some of his power and afterward turned my back before giving my final words.

"It is your choice."

I didn't say anymore and went back to earth to check with the girls. They were at the lake in Xavier school. Once they spotted me quickly went to greet me as I walked toward them.

"How you doing good looking~."

"Can say the same thing."

Is it weird that I became flirtatious despite being only 15? 

Though my age became irrelevant when the majority of the time we train in diluted space and they were aware of how old I am technically speaking.

"So how did your space travel go? Did Sue invite you for lunch?"

Ororo asked.

"Matter of fact, yes, she did. Don't tell me you girls encourage her?"

"Maybe. That aside, the Phoenix had sensed something and we were about to act but we knew you were the one who handled it. Care to tell us what happened?"

"Ah jeez, I've explained this like 10 times now. Whatever, Long or very long version?"

"Just tell us."

"Alright alright, no need to be mad, Ororo. If you keep being grumpy you start growing wrinkles."

"As if you let me."

"Touche."

I stopped joking and gave them the same explanation again. I introduce my second daughter, Nova Tempest, who they happily greeted. 

"Wow, you've fought a galaxy size being!?"

Jean exclaimed

"How can you be shocked when our world is full of wondrous and dangerous things."

"So you're going to live? Can't it be your clone instead?"

Ororo suggested.

"I am the core of it, my clone won't cut it."

"If there is nothing we could do then always visit us."

Jean said.

"Of course!"

I said before we continued to chat and enjoy the rest of the day.
