Nyx and her jar of teeth didn't mind it that much at the beginning because she didn’t expect the dates to go well to begin with. She got to eat her dinner at nice restaurants almost every night. However, she eventually began to feel something unpleasant in her heart the more this went on. The more guys she met and the more she had to face those rude behaviors and words, the more her mood plummeted.

She endured and endured, but couldn’t take it anymore. She had to leave her parents' house or she would go crazy! So, Nyx turned to the only person that could help her.

Her grandfather.

/"Can I come back to work?/" Nyx finally gave up her pride and asked Walter. She couldn't wait any longer for him to take her back on his own. In a week it would be exactly three whole months since Walter kicked her out of the company. Nyx couldn't pretend she was unbothered anymore.
