Blessed Silver: Sea Witch of Another World

Vera Anson has yet to meet a mate she never knew she had. A promise from her father results in her discovering a side of her she's never known, let alone thought of. Vera learns many valuable traits, and dares to see the new world after a visit from the horrid Wolvernrians of Silver. A treaty is placed between the two territories, yet so is Vera's fate. The infamous Arkham Kahn barges in on the Wolvernrians of Garnet to confirm an unanswered ally treaty against his biggest enemy. The Kahn encounters an exclusive offer from fate; another chance for love, for happiness. He dares to test the bond and realizes the Goddess has gifted him with not just a woman, but a mother. Instead of snatching the life he longs for again, he denies their mate pull before he could ask her name. While Vera is unashamed of the odd rejection, an explanation of the Kahn's behavior widens her eyes. She decides she's not burdened like all the wolves think, only blessed! She's overjoyed after the information is proven to be true and spends the rest of Arkham Kahn's visit avoiding the said Kahn. Only, he can't deny the pull any longer. The more he catches the smile drawn across her lips, the more his wolf terrorizes his humane side to claim her for their own. But is this Kahn too late? Vera has already made her mind up, and she's heading back home from persisting wolves. It's a race against time, for fate never shows mercy. • R18 • Mature Themes

Hunter in the Midst

The Garnet's Alpha was busy this morning, especially because he was woken up to Beta Pontall and his warrior's gossip. Alpha Mirran had heard of the newcomer's catch from the two whom discuss whether they believe a female could track down the destructive beast and kill it with her bare hands. Alpha Mirran had been drying off from a recent bath in the exclusive Alpha springs, and began clothing himself when he heard a respectable warrior voice his opinion,

"Jez gah tah 'ark zide tuh 'er."

There's a snort outside his home. With a quick fix, Alpha Mirran pauses his steps.

"Yuh can def'nitely prove dat. Tease as wild as da carsek rampagin' ar stalks!" Another warrior of Beta Pontall's insinuates.

There's a rumble of protest. "Buh jez tamed!" The same warrior from before implores. There's shuffling on the other side of the tarp.

"Dat female es more dan we dought. We shood not provoke war wif ah teveene war-yur." Leander disapproves any contact with the female, wishing to ostracize her until she returns to her home.

It's what he'd pick if he was Alpha.

Alpha Mirran decides it's best to head out now. Clearing his throat at the sight of his best warriors, he nods as they diffuse the colliding air of their speech and focus on him. They each bow their head respectfully before rising their attention to his lips, not daring to meet his eyes. The two silently stand before him with panic evident in their body posture. Alpha pays no heed to the males, knowing nothing of what transpired himself. His curiosity got the better of him.

"Who is this female you so illicitly criticize, yet so brazenly talk of in front of my home?" demands Alpha.

He stands at full height, almost seven feet and eight inches tall, towering over the two daffolies with an unamused expression drawn across his face. Instead, a scowl is rooted deep into his visage as he questions to the two open-mouthed fish. Alpha purposely strains his muscles against his skin as he crosses his arms over his broad chest, which is adorned with the Alpha Headdress. Those strong legs hold his stature to an impending victory while his glare never wavers from their sight. His intimidation tactic works perfectly on all those under an alpha.

"Hm?"

Weylen, a newly recruited warrior, stands off to the left and shifts under Alpha's eyes as Leander, a highly experienced hunter, stands with his spine straight directly next to the said wolf. For a pup, Weylen seemed to be accustomed to the way of life, the way of a respectable warrior, without any challenge to authority.. yet. The kid was obedient; it's only a matter of time he begins to question the order of life. Leander, however, inquired about every order he receives with a smartass attitude that catches the attention of the other betas. It's also what made Beta Pontall contrite about the entire occurrence and the pup himself.

Beta Pontall had been standing to the side, overhearing what the two were saying about the female. He had no opinion in the matter whatsoever— Alpha makes the choice for them. With his red bangs hanging over the scar he so haughtily wears, he scowls at the future lineage responding sentences.

A sneer marrs the brunet's face, "S'ah new female, Alpha. Tease been out all nigh wif Kaius. Hun'in'."

His friend next to him frowns at the words. The green eyed pup opens his mouth to protest, but Alpha raises a hand to silence his voice. The pup furrows his eye brows at his alpha, but keeps silent. Without further question, Weylen backs down. He stands straight, back like a tree, as Alpha steps up to Leander with a satirized smile.

His lips pursed, Alpha feigns to think. "Hunting, you say?"

"Yes, Alpha." Leander nods.

Dark lines disfigure the handsome alpha's forehead. A huff of annoyance runs through his veins at the thought of punishing the newest member of Garnet. He didn't want to show Vera his violent side; a female has no reason for violence, only care. It greatly frustrates him that he'd have to put Vera in her place sooner than he thought. Not to mention the dent in their relationship. If Alpha was to tempt her into being his, he needed her favor on his side. But at the thought of punishing Vera, even in the slightest, brought on illicit activities to mind that even has his inner beast salivating. Alpha knew what he wanted, even if she came with pups, he knew Vera is the female to lead this tribe.

Not wasting anymore time, Alpha immediately departs from the three and ventures off alone. Beta Pontall stiffly follows, glaring at the two pups who spoke out of right. Did he need to display another example of their utmost respect and diligence for their alpha? Beta Pontall internally smirks. The beta walks behind his alpha, line acing in pace to keep up. He vaguely was aware of the tribe members who loitered around the gathering shed, gaping at the beauty. There are many frantic Wolvernrians that trample about, searching for numerous utineils. When Alpha and Beta Pontall approach the hut, the two stop in their tracks at what they see.

Seven heads of a red and yellow teveene. The intricate scales of the beast would make fine utensils and armor for half the tribe, which was more than what they can posses. It's tail, thick as the stomach of a Wolvernrian's beast, lingers in the daylight. Bram, an loyal anvil, begins collecting the scales to fashion them into suitable gear for the Hunters' next trip. Alpha stares down at the creature, scowling at its carcass that'll bring so much hope to them, to his people. But then, Alpha noticed something. The far right head, the one with two skin sheaths for two new heads that have taken place of the one bulges out of the sack. He notices the toxic venom dripping from it's massive fangs and into the stones.

This wasn't just any teveene, this teveene was the same teveene that's been fowling the East Gate River for many a moon, where the Kahn and his beloved had been passing through when they were struck. Alpha noticed the detailed markings on the scales. Looking beneath the skin around the multiple insect legs, the young alpha discovers the marking. Two faint claw marks, barely grazed against the lightened red-pink skin, right under the gaping wound.

Alpha had heard the stories surrounding the Kahn; over eight foot high and a massive beastly creature with a cold stare. The Kahn was someone not to take lightly, not that anyone took anything lightly in Wolvernry. He's ruthless, destructive, and an overall destestable, in Alpha's opinion. Even before he found his female, the Kahn knew nothing of compassion or kindness, only brute strength and self-strategy. Once the Kahn found his mate, the entire species believed she wouldn't survive his wrath. As life began to settle, so did the Kahn. Not that he was any kinder or unrelenting, but he smiled at his fellow Wolvernrians. He had once caught a boy who fell from a tree, all because of his mate. She had become his entire life within a matter of moons, and it was devastating when he lost her.

The Kahn's female passed because of a teveene during the trip to the annual Samhain Moon Festival that the Garnet Tribe hosts every Samhain Moon. The attack had left no witnesses except for the Kahn himself. It's said he wailed to the goddesses above for peace, for vengeance, for his family back, but they never did answer him. Being the "Almighty Child of Lurpho, Goddess of War, Strategy, Wealth, and Reason," Arkham Kahn was brought up in the Alpanchi Combs, Wolvernrians of Silver, by his lonesome and bitter father. No friends, no family, no love sheltered his life until his soulmate came.

And once his sun was out, he'd never been more tyrannical.

All tribes who refused him as Kahn, even before the takeover, immediately died by the claws and teeth of Silvers. The Kahn left no being standing, not even a crawling child. The only reason the Garnets were left alive was because of Alpha's father, the Elder Alpha. He had aided the Silvers in their invasion of the Northern Falls, wanting time be rid of their arrogant tactics once and for all. In return, once the war was one, the Kahn had appointed Alpha's father his personal advisor until he became an Elder Alpha.

Because the Garnet Alpha became the Kahn's right hand beast, all events are held in Garnet Territory.

As soon as Alpha Mirran saw the flawless beauty hauling an albern towards the hut, he knew he needed to contact the Kahn. And fast.
