2 [New World Arc] Part 2: New Identity

I didn't have the courage to open my eyes for fear of bumping into some creature, but the seconds passed and nothing happened.

"Meow…?"

I opened my eyes and saw that everything looked normal, however, there was still the issue of being in an unfamiliar house and with a face that wasn't mine. Not to mention the red cat that was staring at me with its face slightly tilted to the side as if confused by what I had done.

"I confess it was a little anticlimactic."

'I feel like this cat is thinking I'm an idiot…'

I kept looking at the cat for a while and thinking

'If this is a dream, that's usually when I wake up. But in the meantime…I'll take another look at that room.'

Whenever I went somewhere, that cat followed me. The bedroom was no different. Arriving there, I saw that on the computer table, next to the notebook there was a cell phone and a wallet.

The cell phone looked like mine, with the difference in color. I tried turning it on, but I needed a password for that. I tried to use my cell phone password but it appeared that the password was incorrect.

"Really?"

I took it as a challenge and put the phone into recovery mode so I wouldn't have to go through the password pattern again.

When I finally got access to my cell phone, I saw that I had some messages, but they were all written in Japanese. The most bizarre thing is that I was able to understand the messages perfectly.

"There's something very wrong there. I know some things I memorized from watching anime so much but I never got to learn kanji."

I decided to take a look at Google Maps and activated the cell phone location and the result was not quite what I expected. The location came from Minamikawase, a district of Karakura town.

"What the fuck...?" I rubbed my eyes and went back to my phone screen, just to confirm I hadn't confused what I'd read.

'This is definitely a dream or a very well-crafted prank…'

I decided to look at the notebook and to my misfortune I also needed a password.

'I could just get a tutorial on my cell phone on how to get around this…you know what, I'll do that.'

After all this work I finally got access to the notebook and just like I had done on the cell phone, I tried to search for my location on the notebook only to have the same result.

"Whoever pulled this prank…the dude is a god..."

"Meow."

I tried to ignore that information for now and went to look at the wallet that was under the cell phone. In it I found some money and some cards, including a school ID.

"Okay, let's see who I am"

On the card was a picture of the boy whose appearance now seemed to be mine, and on the side of the picture, some other information:
