19 Purification
[A/N: The encounter with White was shorter than the Isshin version due to the fact I wanted to wrap the Masaki Subplot as quickly as I could. So basically, by the 20th Chapter, it'll be done and the story will continue when it's back on rotation.
Also, the whole Masaki being corrupted by White thing will be changed. Just for the sake of time, don't take it too seriously. ]
(Genryujin's POV)
"That was dangerous, Gen-chan!" Kisuke said as I laid Masaki on the table, "Why'd you bring her here?!"
He had a look of panic in his face, something I wasn't used to. There was something about me bringing Masaki here that worried him.
"What's that look for?" I said, "You gotta help me with her!!"
He looked down at her, Masaki was paler than usual and was sweating profusely. Her bite wound was pitch-black, it looked like it was rotting her flesh as well.
"This is bad, Gen-chan..." He said, "What kind of Hollow was that? This is no ordinary Hollow....its Reiatsu was injected in her like a Venom...and its acting faster than normal...."
"Hollows are like poison to Quincies, right?" I said, "Is it this fast? The poison effect?"
"No, I don't think so..." Kisuke said as he began to wipe some of her blood away with gauzes, "I don't know....I didn't study enough Quincies to know. I know that they're not supposed to mixed together, their Reiatsu that is....."
"Oi, Kisuke, you got incoming!" I heard Yourichi call out
I straightened up to see a young white-haired man walking inside the room with an angry look on his face.
"You son of a bitch!!" He threw a punch at me
I caught the fist with ease as I frowned, "Who the fuck are you?"
I then widened my eyes to see the guy's face more clearly, it was a striking resemblance to that of Ryoma Ishida, the Quincy I killed during the Lichreich's invasion.
The man stepped back, "What the hell happened to Masaki, you bastard?!" He growled
Wait, this must be Ryuken, the one that Masaki mentioned. Soken's son, I assume.
"I can expl-" I started
"No time, Gen-chan!" Kisuke said, "The poison is acting faster than expected, I need you to use it!"
I turned around, "What?"
"Your Zanpakuto ability, use it!" Kisuke said, "If you don't, we'll lose her!"
"What does he mean?" Ryuken said, "What happened?!"
I drew my blade as I let out a sigh, "Fuck..." I said, "Will it be okay, Kisuke? My gigai is severely limiting...."
"Relax." Kisuke said as he pulled out a device, "I'll up the Reiatsu output to 25%, it's enough for your Zanpakuto's release."
He clicked on a button, causing my body to glow an emit a shockwave of reiatsu. I felt my power spike significantly.
"Alright, we'll talk about this later, Kisuke." I said as I stood over Masaki's unconscious body, "But stand back, this will get a bit hot...."
"Tell me what the fuck is going on!" Ryuken said
"Masaki was attacked by a strange Hollow." Kisuke said, "Its reiatsu was injected in it but due to the anomality of the hollow, its poison effect is too strong and Masaki has corrupted already. She's too far gone for us to argue, now, Gen-chan! Do it! We'll worry about the side-effects later!"
I closed my eyes, "Fuck." I said, "If I do this, Gramps will find out and I won't be able to come back here for a while, Kisuke."
"I know that." Kisuke said, "But do you care more about not spending time here or letting an innocent girl die? She may be a Quincy, but she had nothing to do with-"
"I know!" I said as I raised my sword and pointed it down at Masaki's chest
"H-Hey!" Ryuken exclaimed
"Take it easy." I heard Yourichi say, "He knows what he's doing."
"There's no time, Gen-chan!" Kisuke said
"I got it!" I snapped back
I took in a deep breath, I hadn't done this command in such a long time, I was a bit nervous.
"Purify...."
As I chanted the command, my blade began to crack as hints of black flames emerged from the cracks. I felt the rise of my own reiatsu as black flames began to swirl around me.
"Hinshin no Jotei"

(Third Person POV)
Masaki opened her eyes to find Ryuken staring down at her.
"Masaki!" Ryuken sighed out of relief, "You're awake...."
He took a step back as Masaki sat up from the bed, she was wearing an oversized white shirt.
"W-What happened?" She asked she was rubbing her forearms
"Ara, you're awake." She looked up to see Kisuke sitting on a chair, "This one didn't sleep at all while he was at your side, he was worried sick."
He was referring to Ryuken who scowled.
"You...." He muttered
"Ryuken-chan..." Masaki said, "What happened? My shoulder...no....my whole body feels hot....."
"Well-" Ryuken started
"That's a side-effect of what we did to fix you." Kisuke said, "You were corrupted by the Hollow. Something I have to investigate further, mind you. It was not normal, for that to happen so quickly and drastically."
"I..." Masaki said as she rubbed her shoulder, "How did you fix me?"
"The Shinigami." Ryuken told her, "He fixed you. He used his Zanpakuto ability to 'purify' your body of the Hollow's reiatsu."
Masaki looked at him with surprise, "G-Gen-chan?" She said
"Only I get to call him that...." Kisuke muttered as he hid his mouth behind his fan, "He's outside if you want to see him."
Masaki got up from the bed and slightly stumbled, "O-Okay...." She said
"Take it easy!" Ryuken exclaimed
"I'm fine." She said as she proceeded to walk, "I.....have to speak with him...."
A minute later, she walked outside to see where Genryujin stood, he was facing three Shinigami. One of them was wearing a Captain's Haori.
Genryujin was scowling, "So he sent you, huh?" He said with a serious face, "Isshin."
Isshin, who had a serious look on his face, sighed, "Sorry, Ryujin-san." He said, "But orders are orders....this is a grave offense, though.....You not only released your Zanpakuto, you did it in the Human world...."
Next to Isshin, were Rangiku and Toshiro, the Vice-Captain and 3rd Seat respectively. They merely looked at this without saying a word.
"Out of all the Captains, for you to turn your goofy face to a serious one in front of me...." Genryujin said, "I cannot believe this, Isshin."
"Be fortunate they didn't send Soi Fon and her men." Isshin said, "Please understand, I had no choice. The incident happened in my Division's patrolling route and the shinigami killed were my men. I have to take responsibility for this."
"Gen-chan!" Masaki called out
Genryujin looked back, "Oh." He said, "You're awake."
Rangiku tilted her head, "Who is this girl? A human?" She said, "She can see us."
Toshiro nodded, "That's odd...." He said
"Forget her." Isshin said, "Genryujin, I'm afraid we're going to take you back and I suppose you'll wait out your punishment. For the sake of Katori, please do not resist."
Genryujin ignored him, he was looking at Masaki and noticed she wasn't hurt or anything; his ability ended up saving her after all.
"Tomorrow." Genryujin said
Isshin raised an eyebrow, "Excuse me?" He said
"I'll have you take me back tomorrow." Genryujin said
"Ryujin-san, don't-" Isshin started
"I'll allow it." A static voice said from a badge that Isshin held in his hand
Isshin looked down at it, "Captain-Commander..." He said
Genryujin looked back at Isshin and at the badge, "Gramps." He said, "You were listening."
"Tomorrow at first light, you are to return to the Seretei and I'll sentence your punishment, Genryujin." Yamamoto said, "But make no mistake, I have Captain Soi Fon and her men surrounding your estate and monitoring your wife, Katori at the moment. Finish whatever it is you're doing, Genryujin, Just know that any foolish move and she will suffer the punishment."
"Don't you dare...." Genryujin muttered
"Silence. That is all."
The badge went silence and Isshin sighed.
"Well, you heard it...." Isshin said, "Don't make this worse than it could get."
"He will be lenient, as always."
