Chapter 8: Mini Timeskips Part 3 (Reupload)

A/N: I've taken some time to scale stat numbers and have come up with ones that I believe is actually good/good enough.

With this power scaling, MC will be OP enough, but not TOO OP where it's boring, hopefully.

MC's Scale as of current stats (Exluding Extra stat points):

Strength and Durability - Large Building Level

Speed - Subsonic (With strength stat. Superhuman - close to subsonic, less than 5 points - with agility stat)

Magic/Intelligence Stat - Around Wall/Small building Level

"Damn it! Where's Mizuiro when you need 'im!? Where'd you say he went again!?" Ichigo, currently in his shinigami form, was chasing after... himself?

"I don't know! He just told me he'd be gone and doesn't know when he'd be back!" Rukia shouted back.

They were chasing the mod soul that was in Ichigo's body wreaking havoc.

- Meanwhile -

Only a day had passed since the Yuiichi stuff that happened, and so Mizuiro's stat points increased by 3 only (27 now)

"It's been a while since I got one of these bad boys... I'm kinda excited!" He said excitedly, looking at his hand which held a key.

[Item: Dungeon Key]

[Difficulty: C]

[Type: Key]

[This key enables you to enter an instant dungeon. Location to use: Karakura Construction Site]

"Letsa go!" 

Holding out his arm, he twisted the key in the air, opening a massive blue gate which radiated a different, stronger energy compared to the E rank dungeon.

"Hee...Hooo..." Mizuiro stretched a little before finally walking into the gate.

"Woah... I can barely see anything. If it weren't for my sense stat I'd be screwed" 

The first thing Mizuiro noticed was the absence of light in the dungeon.

If it weren't for his sense stat, as he said, he most likely wouldn't be able to see where he was and therefore have a bad outcome in this dungeon.

Looking around, Mizuiro noticed many holes and pathways everywhere, whether it was left, right, up, down, etc.

*Twitch*

Instinctively, his ears twitched after hearing something. This caused Mizuiro to close his eyes and focus on the noise that triggered his senses.

"...This...

Insects?! From above!" He looked up and saw nightmare fuel: A swarm of ants.

Jumping back a large distance, Mizuiro allowed for all the ants to jump down from the hole.

"Fuck me... That's at least 100" He sighed as he looked at the army of red ants in front of him on standby.

"Oh well..." He smirked, taking out Kasaka's dagger from his inventory, "It's levelling time"

"Phew..." Mizuiro exhaled tiredly, wiping away the glistening sweat dripping down his forehead.

He looked at his clothes that were now covered in dry, green blood after cutting up all the ants on the way

"Well, at least I'm here now" 

Mizuiro looked onwards and saw a massive web lair leading to where the boss, presumably, is.

[Description: Same as Wolf Slayer (40% attack Increase) but for bug-type foes]

Walking through the web lair with Kasaka's Fang in hand, Mizuiro arrived in a massive empty area.

'They really like to come from above, don't they?' He thought, sighing as he looked up to see a massive spider curled up.

'Appears to be asleep, niceeee!' He cheered, Joseph-style.

Not willing to risk anything, Mizuiro activated his dash skill and jumped up to the sleeping spider boss.

Gripping the dagger tightly, Mizuiro went to stab the spider and inflict bleed and paralysis.

The boss, sensing Mizuiro, woke up and saw Mizuiro in front of him.

Unfortunately, it was too late as before the boss could do anything, Mizuiro had pierced its hard skin.

[Bleed has been inflicted, enemy will lose 1% HP every second]

[Paralysis has been inflicted]

"SKREEEE!" The spider screeched, which appeared to be a cry of pain from the bleed and paralysis.

Fueled with anger, the spider boss wanted to crush Mizuiro under its 8 legs.

[Enemy's resistance too high. Effect of Bleed and Paralysis cancelled]

With a war cry, the spider, no longer being paralysed, crawled rapidly towards Mizuiro and attacked with its legs.

The boss and challenger began their fight of constantly attacking and dodging, until

"Alright, fun's over" Mizuiro smirked, re-activating Dash once more as he went for another stab towards the spider's face.

'Gotcha-' He nearly boasted in his mind, until his senses were triggered once he saw the mouth of the spider open.

He managed to stopped his jump up and instead jumped back a few metres, as a result he fortunately dodged the green, dangerous acid produced by the spider's mouth.

The ground underneath the acid melted, warning Mizuiro to make sure he avoids it at all costs.

'I need to be faster and stronger!' He opened his stats and used his stat points.

[Strength: 63 -> 90]

[Stat Points: 27 -> 0]

Feeling a massive power boost, Mizuiro wasted no time in case there was a cooldown period for the acid attack.

[The Dungeon Boss has been Slained]

[Level 21 -> 24] (Current stats will now be as Author's Thoughts, unless important/big changes)

There was unfortunately no huge drops except for one thing:

[Skill Runestone: Bloodlust]

[Learn Skill? Y/N]

Obviously, he pressed yes.

[Bloodlust: Active Skill. Mana to activate: 100. When activated, the targets selected are put in a state of fear for 1 minute. Effect - 'Fear': All Stats -50%]

'Holy... there's gotta be some drawback to that, right??' He thought, believing the skill might've been TOO OP, especially in the long term...

'Not complaining though' He shrugged off happily.

It was time to leave the dungeon

Leaving the dungeon with a satisfactory smile, Mizuiro arrived back outside the construction site.

'Time to go to school' He was ready to walk to school, which he was already plenty late to, until some people appeared in front of him at a quick speed.

"You're..." Mizuiro looked at Urahara in shock, seeing how Urahara had an unreadable smile on his face.

"Hello~ If it isn't the friend of Miss Kuchiki, I wasn't expecting you to be the cause of... well, this" Urahara stated, covering his mouth with his fan.

Behind Urahara was Tessai and the two kids hiding behind a wall, peeking their heads occasionally to get a good look of Mizuiro.

"Sooo... what do you want with me?" Mizuiro was on edge at Urahara's suspicious character. It didn't help that Tessai was behind him with a serious expression

"Well, you see, I've seen something quite... intriguing, per se, regarding you" Urahara smiled behind his fan, his tone making it difficult for Mizuiro to understand where he was going with this, "Say~ How about we have a nice talk over some tea and snacks at the shop?" Urahara suggested with a chuckle

"...Sure..." Mizuiro replied, his guard up as he followed Kisuke and the others inside the shop.
