34 Not a nobody.

Three days passed since Yoruichi told the others what happened to her on her stroll, and sure enough, following that moment similar events occurred to Shin and Nelliel as well.

The most entering thing is, after two days, it stopped... completely as if nothing was wrong, to begin with.

One could say that they just have bad luck... but Shin knew it was much more than that, even more considering their situation.

The thing is directly after it stopped Shin had been feeling as if pressured... It was nothing like he had felt before.

It was not affecting his mind, body, or soul... seemingly his very existence. He tried subtly asking the others if something similar was happening to them and guess what? It wasn't they felt nothing... everything really came back to normal for them.

This made Shin think about it, a lot and he came to the conclusion that the world was really against him in some way, trying to pressure him perhaps it wanted Shin to leave the world.

But why only him and not Yoruichi and Nelliel? There were only two possible reasons, either because of his strength or because of his power... the fact that he could have access to its memories whenever he wished.

Anyway since the pressure was nothing really dangerous he didn't mind, instead he started conducting some research on it.

Though sadly enough he couldn't find anything on abyss net, hopefully, the one in the akashic record will bear more fruit.

"Lune I am counting on you." He muttered.

[Leave it to me.]

If worse were to come he would just leave this world for a while.

...

"So you want to borrow some books on magic?" Lolikiano who has been contacted by Shin quickly came over, she was at Jihan's house anyway, not far from their current location.

"Yes, I am quite interested in magic, since you are quite a talented one, I hoped you could provide assistance." Shin was pretty straight froward with his intentions.

It was one of his goals coming into this world as their magic system was quite an interesting and fairly balanced one. Plus Nelliel was training, trying to assimilate her books of heaven path while Yoruichi did the same. The recent event made it so they wanted to become a little stronger in case... something happened.

Lolikano smiled happily, who didn't like to receive compliments? especially in the things you liked and thought yourself quite good at. Not speaking above the fact the one giving the compliment was everything but a nobody.

"Thank you for the compliment, but I am rather surprised I thought you would be quite good at magic."

"Hm... how to tell you that... I do indeed know a type of magic but it's quite not the same as you, other human practice." Shin said and as an example, he stretched his hand and chanted. "Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man. Inferno and pandemonium, the sea barrier surges, march on to the south."

"Hado N°31. Shakkaho."

On his palm condensed a red of crimson energy reminiscent of fire, the orb was rather small but the amount of heat contained within was alarming... If Shin were to fire it, the explosion that would follow would be enough to completely evaporate this building.

Not that he was going to do it. He clenched it within his hand and canceled the spell, making it disappear.

"I voiced the chant for you to have a better idea, but as you can see it's quite different from the magic you humans use. My people call It Kido or Demon art if you wish..." He explained.

"Hm... Althought it's not my specialty and I didn't specially dabble in it, it seems to be closer to Youjutsu which is not really a popular kind of magic these days... due to it being really difficult to learn if you are not a Youkai." Lolikiano searched within her expensive store of magic knowledge.

"Your words do hold some truth in them... but let's not talk about that for now." Youkai and Shinigami from his worlds are not so different, in the fact that they are all spiritual beings so it's fair that their magic is similar. But if he had to make a guess he would say that Youkais are closer to Hollows than Shinigami.

"Now I understand why you would want to learn more about our magic... to be honest it's way more polyvalent and accessible than what your Demons art... I bet its use is only limited to your people." Her observation surprised him a bit. He didn't expect her to discover that much after seeing him use it only one time.

"You are right, only "Shinigami" can use those, it's impossible for anyone else... well, except people like Jihan," Shin said.

"Ha... Jihan. He is quite a unique case." Lolikiano couldn't help but smile a bit awkwardly, his ability was just too unfair.

"Ahem." She recomposed herself. "If you want to learn magic from books, it would take a relatively long time to be really good at it... if you're not Jihan. So why don't I just create some knowledge orb for you?" She asked, not knowing he could instantly also learn the content of a book just with a look, he didn't even need to touch it anymore.

Thought since she offered it out of goodwill, Shin didn't refuse, that would be impolite. "Then I will thank you in advance.

"Perfect, let's do it now then." She said and closed her eyes for a moment, although quadruple incantation was nothing difficult for her, since it required selecting specific pieces of memories and knowledge, she needed to concentrate. Especially considering the massive amount of magical knowledge stored within her mind.

"Magic, Knowledge, transfer, compress. I the master of mana I hereby combine these four spells into one. " She opened her eyes as she chanted. "Orb of knowledge." Her magical energy flared with intense red light before a miniature silver orb appeared within her hand.

"Phew..." She sighed as her mana recessed, she practically put everything he needed to know about magic in it, along with how to summon Demons and a couple of easy spells he could try without any real effort. It would be useless to give him knowledge of many spells since it's not really that hard to create one with a bit of effort. As to why she was putting so much effort into helping him? It was a bet...

"This is for you." She handed it over to him with a smile, seeing this Shin also received it with the same smile. "I appreciate it." He said.

Since he knew how to use it the orb already he didn't even try to observe it and just directly put it into his mouth. Once the orb ingurgitated it just disappeared and a new flow of knowledge made its way into Shin's head.

Within the same moment, Shin found himself in the library of heaven path, the knowledge he had just recently acquired seemed to be enough to condense a book. Not surprising, considering she is hundreds if not thousands of years old. That was to say how much knowledge of magic she possessed.

That knowledge manifested as words and was analyzed, sorted, and perfected before being condensed into a single book that formed into Shin's Hand.

"This book's name will be... Heaven path of Magic and Spell Casting (1)"

He came out of the library and digested that knowledge along with that in the book and could immediately tell the difference. To the point that he really felt that magic in this world was too easy... Well, he did say the same with Kido too.

"I see, so that's how it's... to resume it all, magic is the embodiment of an "idea" that produces some effect in accordance with a specified law. As an example, magic releases images that "take away heat" or "burn things", in the form of energy, and as an ancillary effect, physical phenomena such as ice and fireballs are generated. That "Idea" is implemented a created through the imagination and willpower of its user and "keywords" are used to supplement that process and mana is used in exchange so it can be actualized in the physical world... The main thing is nothing is impossible to do through magic as long as you have enough mana, willpower, and knowledge."

"Beautifully summed up... though "Keywords" are for those who are experienced or have a talent with magic, most have to voice all the chant. There is also the fact that if you are good enough you can just use about any spell without even using "Keywords". That's about it." Lolikano clapped as she joined her palms together. He was quick to understand, though understanding and being able to use it are two different things, since he is already experienced with his own particular kind of magic it should not be hard for him to use it.

"Hum... It seems like it really is not that hard after all to cast a basic spell but to be able to cast multiple spells at the same time and combine them, it's necessary to have a great mind able to divide your thoughts and think quickly. But it seems like there are even spells to help you with those."

"The strongest mage are those that can transform complicated spells into easy ones and also resolve any problem with nothing but magic."

"Then let me try." Shin said as he closed his eyes but then he remembered something. He almost forgot because he didn't really need to use it for a long time.

'Lune, Active Thought acceleration at *1000 and Memory partition *6'

[Understood... Activated.]

As heard he Lune's voice in his head, he felt his thoughts dividing into 6 independent streams, with their processing speed also being accelerated by a thousand times, He was practically seeing the world in slow-motion, so much in fact that everything seemed stopped.

"Magic, Gravity, Highen, compress, collapse, control. As the sovereign of mana I hereby combine these six spells."

"Magical black hole." As he voiced, he canceled all of his buffs, and Lolikiano's eyes widened as she saw it. Above Shin's finger, a miniature black hole started sucking in the surrounding air. It wasn't quite large enough to do anything more due to its size that shin could control to a certain point due to the keyword he used.

"How? That's at least an hexa-spell! it's a true black hole, even with this size, it's still an incredible achievement for someone who didn't know of this magic system till a moment ago... Not talking about the fact that you would have to split your mind into six and also keep your concentration at the same time while casting it." Lolikiano was flabbergasted, even Jihan couldn't possibly do that.

Was that what it meant to be a God? Is that the power of a God?

"Well... I am quite a special case you see..." Once again he clenched his hand around the spell. and stopped supplying it with energy, making it disappear.

"Anyway, your help was really valuable thus it's only right for me to compensate you." Shin was quite in a good mood, he just created a spell out of nothing... He liked this feeling.

"I will offer you my friendship, feel free to address me as so and call upon me whenever you need my assistance. I will gladly help."

"Then I won't be polite." She smiled with her cheeks a little red. Hehe, she won her bet!

"Now that was for helping me with magic. I still have to thank you properly for the house. Take this." He reached for her hand and gave her something.

Lolikiano observed it carefully and even used magic to make sure her guess was correct.

"This... this is... An elixir?" She hesitantly asked, healers were rares, potion rarer, and elixir... even low-class ones were practically almost impossible to see.

"This is called "Senzu Bean" It can heal and regenerate any wound as long as you are not dead. In fact, if you don't die directly after having your heart ripped out, by taking it you will survive by regenerating one." He said as a thought to a certain family of hunters.

"This is definitely a low-class elixir... Isn't that a bit too much for just a house?" Lolikiano hesitantly asked even though she wanted it.

"It's fine, didn't I say that I would offer you, my friendship? I am not petty with friends."

This was his last one since he gave one to each one of each of the Arrancars he sent on the mission except Lilynette, who will have to do with Starrk.

"Then... Thank you very much." This was just too variable, it probably cost more than her broom which she bought for 30 billion won.

And that's only low-grade elixirs, medium grade and high-grade ones are even more impossible to find and even if you did getting them would require more than just money. It was understandable since medium-grade elixir could revive the dead as long as their body was somewhat whole and the timeframe was not more than 1 hour and high-grade one could do the same but the timeframe is prolonged to around 3 days.

Yes, only a God could probably casually hand out something like that. She was happy that she made the right choice and curried favor from him.
