15 Little Talk

30 minutes later, it seemed that everyone had already calmed down, Shin did tell them a summarized version of what happened which helped immensely.

Many thoughts crossed Urahra's mind when he heard what he said, as many hypotheses came to his mind, but even then it was a little too for even him to handle this fact.

However he knew there existed many kinds of genius in this world, nothing was really impossible. If he could create a device such as the Hogyoku, that could dissolve the boundary between Shinigami and Hollow, then this should also not be too far-fetched.

While Urahara was lost in his thought, Shin whose eyes were closed with his cube still slowly floating and spinning above his hand, slowly opened them as he looked at the scientist.

"Urahara, we need to talk." He addressed the man, getting not only his attention but everyone else.

They all have been trying to digest the news of Shin becoming a "Transcendent" although they didn't really know what it meant before, after a brief explanation by Shin and Urahara, they ended up getting the gist of it.

Rather than calming down, they were even more shocked than before, but still, after some time they got used to the thought that the young man before them just casually became one of the strongest being in the world.

Jinta and Ururu still had some trouble regarding this, like how strong was this. How strong was someone at the top of the world? They didn't know, but at least if they were sure of something, not only them but everyone in this place, could probably be crushed to death by Shin if he wanted.

"Talk? About what? Do you need my help with something?" Urahara was quick to come out of his thought and act as if nothing happened, but he was curious as to what the young man wanted to talk about.

Looking left and right at everyone, one by one, Shin felt that there was no need to hide anything so he spoke. "About the Hogypku."

To his words, everyone's eyes opened wide, Urahara wasn't expecting this, he never talked about the Hogyoku to him, and looking at the surprise on Isshin and Yoruichi's faces, he knew that they didn't tell him as well. So how? How did he know?

Once again his mind raced as he started piecing every little piece of detail together, trying to reach a conclusion. Now that he thinks about it, he also addressed Jinta by his name earlier. Are those two situations tied in some way? Yes, they were, that's what he concluded... But that still didn't answer his original question... Hypothesis after hypothesis came to life in his head.

Arriving at this point, Urahara come to an obvious conclusion, it was so obvious that he almost felt a little stupid to not start there first. It was probably because of his precognition ability.

Shin seeing Urahara's face turn serious, guessed what was happening, so he decided to save the man the effort and tell what he wanted to know, it was no longer necessary for him to hide anything.

But he was not stupid, he was not going to speak about his reincarnation or anything, but it was something else, remember when he lied about seeing pieces of the future? Who knew it would turn out like this? Truly life is a succession of surprises.

As Shin lowered his gaze to look at the cube above his hand, he started speaking. "If you are wondering how I know about the hogyoku, it's indeed related to an ability of mine."

"You may have reached the most logical conclusion that it's tied to my future sight and that wouldn't be wrong either, but you see, after achieving my current level, I came to discover my true ability in all its splendor."

"Just like Ichibe Hyosube holds the authority to manipulate "true names" my ability is somewhat similar but also very different." Shin said without even blinking at the fact that he voiced the name he should not.

"Shin! Do you realize what you just did? You pronounced "his" name, now he will know about you!" Isshin said in a worried voice, even though the boy become strong, Ichibe wouldn't be weaker than him. What Shin did was tantamount to announcing his presence to the leader of the zero division!

Urahara however merely narrowed his eyes, not speaking, he doubted the boy would commit such an error, there should be something more to it. He most definitely had a plan or something similar.

The others just watched the scene unfold before their eyes, there was no need to assault the young man with questions, he would naturally explain why he did what he did... well if he wanted to.

Yoruichi was being strangely silent the whole time contrary to her earlier behavior, but none seemed to worry about it, she was no kid, she would, of course, take care of her own problem it was just that right now her mind was in disarray, she had many things to think about. So she will hold her questions and doubts for now, and just watch how the situation turns out.

"No." Shin shook his head "He won't "know" that I even said his name." He stated, his tone just as even as before.

"What do you mean by that?" Isshin asked but Urahara's eyes momentarily dilated before coming back to normal. He seemed to have somehow understood what Shin meant by that.

"It's simple really, Knowledge is my domain, my authority, my power, If I don't want him to know, he, of course, will not know." Shin revealed his new ability, the one conferred to him by his Shikai, the one that he always possessed but couldn't use.

"How... can such an ability even exist? being able to manipulate knowledge? What kind of fuckery is that?" Jinta couldn't but express his disbelief at the reveal of such a fraudulent ability.

"Jinta, Language!" Urahara chided, contrary to the kid, the adults had no trouble whatsoever accepting this reality. It has to be known that whatever it was Shinigami, Quincy, or even Hollow. The strength of one's Reiastsu determines how strong they are, not only physically but also their abilities.

Take the head captain Yamamoto for example, the reason why his abilities are so terrifying is because his spiritual power is so massive. Let's not talk about his Bankai but just his Shikai, Ryujin Jaka. The flame released by his sword is said to be comparable to the sun and the sole reason why that's the case is because he possesses an immense amount of spiritual power, if his spiritual power was something like, let's say the current Ichigo's level. His fire wouldn't even be 1/10 as hot as they are right now.

So it was easy to understand how someone who has somehow become a "transcendent being" possesses such a ridiculous ability. Right now, he shouldn't be that much inferior to Ichibe himself so it should not be difficult for him to prevent the man from "knowing" he voiced his name.

"I know you still have many questions, and I will answer them later, but for now, let's go back to the subject" As Shin said they all realized that they trailed off from the principal subject, which was... the Hogyoku.

"The Hogyoku, do you also want it?" Urahara asked, but there was no trace of hostility in his voice.

"Although it would be a lie to say that I don't want it, I also don't necessarily want it. But what I wanted to say is... retrieve it for Rukia's soul."

"So you also "know" that huh... Does it have something to do with the future you saw... or should I say the future you "know"?" as always Urahara was quick to catch on to the situation.

Seeing the Shin nodded with a leger smile. "In the future, I "know" because of what you did, she won't be able to regain her powers and will be forcefully taken back to the Soul Society where Aizen will retrieve the Hogyoku and become a traitor. I first wanted to preemptively strike but due to his strength... which for your information is on par with Yamamoto, I was putting it off for a while."

"So, you mean that you are going to take action yourself right since you deem that you are strong enough to beat him?"

"Indeed, that's what I mean. But first I will need you to retrieve the Hogyoku, and If you can't hide or protect it, I will do it myself. Another thing we are gonna do is to make Ichigo stronger. He will be a great help in the future." He wasn't really sure if Urahara would accept to give him the Hogyoku but that was not important, he would find a way anyway. And since he had an idea of how strong the future enemy are going to be, he wanted Ichigo to also become stronger, his potential was second to none after all.

"Also, to make it easier for you to understand my point, let me show you the future that I know." Shin spoke as his eyes along with the cube glowed with a bright amber light before he spoke some more. "Let me show you, the path to spirituality!"
