115 Chapter 112: In Your Place

"Hey, you're Kurosaki Ichigo, right? Nice to meet you."

As Ichigo Kurosaki sat down, he suddenly noticed a figure appear beside him. 

"Um?" 

His eyes widened in surprise at the sight of the person. Before he could say anything, his friend Keigo Asano spoke up next to him, "She is Kuchiki, a new student who just transferred here today. It seems like she transferred because of a family situation."

Kuchiki Rukia smiled and said, "Kurosaki, I haven't received my textbooks yet. Can you lend me yours?"

As Rukia spoke, she extended her hand. Ichigo was about to say something when he suddenly noticed the writing on her hand:

Shuddering in fear, Ichigo Kurosaki quickly stopped himself from saying anything.

Upon witnessing this, Yamahiko, who had been observing from a distance among the trees, smiled faintly. Rukia sure is violent, he thought.

Yamahiko's task was to remain vigilant for Aizen's potential arrival, which led him to trail Rukia and accompany her to Karakura High School.

Initially, Yamahiko had worried about Rukia's ability to adjust to life in the human world. However, he soon noticed her bonding with Inoue Orihime, Chad, and other classmates, easing his concerns.

Now he felt relieved.

Four days later, Yoruichi, in her cat form, found Yamahiko and said, "You should go back. I'll protect her. You need to rest."

Yamahiko shook his head and replied, "I can still keep going."

Yoruichi tapped Yamahiko's head with a paw and said, "I told you to go back, so go back. Or do you think I can't protect Rukia?"

"Okay," Yamahiko nodded. Yoruichi's strength could block Aizen.

After saying goodbye to Yoruichi, Yamahiko returned to the location of the Visored.

As soon as he entered, several figures appeared beside him.

"Shinji-Senpai, Lisa-Senpai, what are you all doing here?" Yamahiko asked as he saw all the members of the Visored in front of him.

Shinji Hirako looked at Yamahiko and inquired, "What have you been up to lately? It's been a long time since you've been back, and you've been sneaking out with Yoruichi-Senpai."

Yamahiko opened his mouth but remained silent. Hiyori Sarugaki immediately spoke up, "You don't have to say it; we already know. Is it related to Aizen?"

Yamahiko hesitated for a moment before replying, "It is indeed related to Aizen, but it's just the beginning for now."

"If it's related to Aizen, why didn't you tell us?" Hiyori grabbed Yamahiko's clothes, looking angry. She yelled, "We've been together for so long, you know how much we hate Aizen. And yet, after Aizen appeared, you didn't tell us about it!"

Hiyori, who harbored the most hatred towards Aizen, was later provoked by his words during their confrontation. She was the first to charge forward but… she ended up getting her body cut in half by Gin Ichimaru.

Yamahiko looked at her and said, "Hiyori-senpai, Aizen hasn't made a move yet. Please calm down."

"How can we stay calm when you've kept us in the dark about this?" Hiyori yelled in anger, raising her fist.

However, Yamahiko swiftly caught her fist and looked at her, saying, "Senpai, if you keep acting out, this plan could very well fail."

Although she still looked furious, she didn't act further against Yamahiko.

Looking at Yamahiko, Love Aikawa asked, "What exactly are you and Kisuke Urahara up to?"

Yamahiko replied, "We plan to lure out Sosuke Aizen and ambush him. Even if we don't succeed, we plan to enter the Soul Society and organize an attack on him."

Hiyori interjected, "We can assist in the ambush. Although I know Aizen is powerful, we should be able to help you."

Lisa Yadomaru stepped forward and said, "We can help you. Let us join in."

These individuals were betrayed by Sosuke Aizen and forced to defect. Their hatred for him exceeds even their disdain for the Shinigami. Now that they see an opportunity to kill Aizen, they are unwilling to let it slip away.

Yamahiko shook his head and said, "It's not possible. You were all hypnotized by Aizen's Shikai ability. Acting recklessly will only play into his hands. What if he hypnotizes you and makes you attack me, thinking I'm Aizen? What then?"

Hearing Yamahiko's words, Hirako Shinji fell into a brief silence, and the others also found the issue difficult to handle.

If things played out as Yamahiko described, they would all attack him, leaving him powerless to defend himself, ultimately leading to his inevitable death. 

In the end, they would inadvertently be aiding Aizen.

In the original work, when they confronted Aizen together, he basically dealt with each of them single-handedly. He even used the whip from Rōjūrō Ōtoribashi's Shikai, Kinshara, to knock them away after releasing his Shikai.

Even Shinji Hirako's Shikai was completely ineffective against Aizen. Therefore, having them join the fight would be entirely ineffective.

Rōjūrō Ōtoribashi sighed and asked, "So are we just going to do nothing?"

"No, I'm going to kill Aizen myself," said Hiyori Sarugaki angrily.

However, Yamahiko smiled and asked, "Haven't you all already done something?"

In a cold voice, Hiyori asked, "What do you mean?"

Yamahiko replied, "Lisa-senpai has taken care of me in daily life, Mashiro-senpai has trained with me tirelessly, Kensei-senpai has fought alongside me, and Hachigen-senpai has taught me Kido. In reality, all of you have been helping me and sharing your experiences with me. Without you, I wouldn't have been able to grow."

Looking at them, Yamahiko continued earnestly, "I'm not just speaking for myself but for all of the Visored. Please believe in me and allow me to defeat Aizen."

Yamahiko's words made Lisa and the others fall silent.

Indeed, Yamahiko was not an outsider; having lived together for thirty years, he had long become an integral part of the Visored. This was also why they had reacted with such anger when Yamahiko didn't tell them about Aizen's plan.

But precisely because of this, even if they allowed Yamahiko, who represented them, to defeat Aizen, what difference would it make?

Yadomaru Lisa sighed and said, "You're right. You're not an outsider, so I'm willing to let you represent me and defeat Aizen."

Having the best relationship with Yamahiko, Yadomaru Lisa was the first to acknowledge his words.

Mashiro Kuna nodded and said, "I believe in you too, Mashiro."

Kensei Muguruma grinned and said, "Yes, Yamahiko will definitely win against Aizen."

Shinji Hirako smiled and said, "In that case, we'll leave Aizen to you. You've got this."

Sarugaki Hiyori turned her head and huffed, saying, "Your victory is as important as ours, so we'll trust you with it."

With that said Hiyori leaned in closer, locking eyes with Yamahiko and said "I warn you, losing is not an option."

Yamahiko nodded, smiling, "I won't lose."

Fighting against Aizen means facing death; Yamahiko doesn't have the luxury of losing, nor would he choose to.

With his current abilities, he can slightly surpass Aizen in speed and manage to injure him.

However, he can only maintain this level of strength for a short time, while Aizen can sustain his power for much longer.

If Yamahiko doesn't win within that short time, Aizen will defeat him with no chance of recovery.

There is a significant gap in their spiritual power levels. Aizen possesses a reiryoku level of at least 9, surpassing the level 8 of a Super captain and reaching the pinnacle of a Shinigami.

Yamahiko doesn't have decades or centuries to reach this level. Instead of prolonging his battle time, what he needs now is to continue increasing his explosive power.

In the next two months, regardless of whether he can materialize his Zanpakuto, he must use the Tenshintai to achieve his Bankai.
