Bleach/JJk: Death

An unexpected turn of events, one I couldn't say I disliked, for me out of all people to realize my dreams? To not remain a simple human but to become something more? I won't say no to that. So yes, I will choose to live another life instead of going to heaven. Yes, I am sure, that will be my wish, I want to be like him. You won't tell me anything about the world I will end up in? I don't mind, I won't regret my choice anyway. Reincarnation or transmigration? Transmigration, Time won't matter for me as much anyway.

"So what is jujutsu high exactly?" While in the car along with the supposed strongest Gojo Satoru, I asked.

From what Nanami told me Gojo would handle everything, I didn't have to worry about anything he said.

"Well, to put it simply it's a school."

"A school?"

"Indeed a place used to train future jujutsu sorcerers, it also serves as a base of operation for many jujutsu sorcerers and activities... so I guess describing it as just a school wouldn't exact either."

"Y'all have been using that term many times over the past few hours but what is exactly a jujutsu sorcerer? It's nothing I have ever heard of." At this point I already realized that something was amiss, jujutsu sorcerer wasn't something I ever heard in bleach.

"Hm..." Gojo stopped looking outside the windows and turned toward me.

"Mizushino, are you religious?" He asked, not that I see a point in his question, I answered anyway.

"I wasn't... until recently that is, I may not practice but I believe in the existence of God."

"I see, In many religious and philosophical traditions, the soul is the spiritual essence of a person."

He kept going.

"It includes one's identity, personality, and memories, an immaterial aspect or essence of a living being that is believed to be able to survive physical death."

"What if that belief was right? And in reality, every being had a soul? Would you believe it?" He smiled at me.

"I would," I answered without any hesitation.

"I expected that much. What I am getting at is that our world is one consisting of an invisible element, spiritual in nature called Reishi (spiritual particles). That Reishi is also what constitutes the soul, so it's fair to assume that every human possesses some; some more, some less."

Oh, I knew that from the anime, glad that I wasn't wrong in assuming that I was bleach, that pretty much confirms it.

"So a jujutsu sorcerer is..."

"In the category of those who have more but also, it's not that simple." He shook his head and continued.

"The thing is every human possesses some degree of spiritual power since they have a soul, not only that but they also unconsciously emit some of said spiritual power in the atmosphere."

"But humans are not so simple, contrary to the world and its reishi which is 'pure' to speak, humans are prone to emotions, both positive and negative, which impact the nature of the reishi they emit, while positive reishi is not a problem, it's even beneficial to speak. Reishi emitted in a negative emotional state, however..."

"Is a source of troubles?" I asked.

I could see where he was going with this, but I was more interested in listening than speaking.

"Bingo! And said "troubles" are called curses. Unlike Hollows which you saw Nanami previously take down, which are souls that couldn't get to the other side and had their soul chains corroded; Curses on the other hand are concepts given life through humans' negative emotions."

"Due to the fact that their whole being is made up of negative Reishi, they are innately prone to negativity, chaos, and destruction. And how do they achieve that? It's by using what made them originally: Negative Reishi, also called Cursed Energy."

"Following the birth of Curses, the amount of cursed energy in the air became much greater, some humans adapted with the help of a little something and became able to handle said energy and use it for themself... those particular beings are called jujutsu sorcerers... Well to be honest it's more or less a matter of predisposition rather than adaptation."

"I see, this is the first time I have heard such a thing." I pondered over it.

"All in all, jujutsu sorcerers have existed for thousands of years and were able to develop and better themself, create organizations to better purify cursed spirits and such."

"Jujutsu high is at the end of that, directly under the Jujutsu headquarters which is affiliated with the government. And I am a teacher there."

"Wait, don't tell me you are taking me there to attend classes with a bunch of hormonal teenagers or something?" I would very much not like to.

"Ha? Hahahahaha." He burst out laughing.

"No that was not it, though it doesn't seem like such a bad idea."

"Please no." I facepalmed.

"You are too old for that, I was going to assess your potential and give you a speedy formation so that you would be able to handle yourself, and then you will be able to figure out the rest by yourself."

I exhaled a sigh of relief much to his amusement.

"Let's get to business, shall we?"

"What?"

"Can't you see? We have already arrived at our destination." He got out of the black SUV.

I did the same before looking around curiously.

"Surprised? Welcome to jujutsu high!" He announced grandly while opening both hands.

...

Sometime later, I looked at Gojo with dead eyes as I asked 'The' question.

"Well, so that's what jujutsu high amount to?"

"What did you expect? We are not in a manga you know?" He smiled knowingly.

"I don't know, at least something greater, Everybody would have expected that much from the way you presented it though." I shrugged.

"Never mind, let's take care of your identity issue first." He just waived it away, unbothered.
