Chapter 228 Brother-in-law visit

"What are you doing here?"

Ichigo had bought a new house. It was a house with Japanese and Western styles combined. He thought that Rias and everyone would be the first ones to see it. 

But who would have thought the person who came to his new house would be his brother-in-law?

Ophis was his little sister, and he took something precious from her. There was only one solution, and that was to accept Ophis as his lover.

Great Red looked at Ichigo, then smirked.

"Why can't I be here? This place is soon to be my little sister's lair. I came to check if it was up to my standard or not. And to tell you the truth, it is far from my expectation." Great Red scanned every nook and cranny.

"Where is the Treasury?" said the Great Red, as he didn't see anything that could be called treasure in the house.

"How could you not have a single one? And you want my little sister?" Great Red was filled with disappointment.

Ichigo couldn't help but speak.

"This house is for living, not for hoarding treasure. If you want to see something valuable, you have to go underground." Ichigo had a lab that researched artifacts and sacred gear.

Inside the storage of his lab. There were so many artifacts and false sacred gear. Even with someone like Great Red. He would be impressed by the collection.

"Then show me. I will judge them with my own eyes." Great Red was curious. He couldn't sense anything underground. He didn't use his authority, though.

"Follow me then." Ichigo led Great Red toward the underground. And he quickly realized why he couldn't sense anything underground.

It was because it was a hidden dimension that was shielded from detection and used Ichigo's authority over space and time.

"Nice applying of authorities." Great Red praised.

"Thanks, and I have something to ask you. Do you know where Ophis is currently? I can't contact her at all. Is she still inside the void?"

"Yup, do you want me to contact her? Your power is still not enough to pass through the void's barriers."

Ichigo thought about it and shook his head.

"No, she must be busy with something."

Great Red shrugged. He didn't think that his little sister would be busy. She should be floating around lazily. There was not much that could interest her except food and her champion.

She would leave everything to her followers.

Great Red was impressed once again when he saw a massive lab. There were many clones of Ichigo doing some experiments and research with intense focus and devotion.

"You are really a piece of art. All of those artifacts could start a war. And to think that you could create holy swords. The church would be in awe of your abilities, or they might want to kill you." 

Great Red was perplexed to see that Ichigo could mass-produce holy swords, and not only that. There were many precious artifacts that could move him.

And who was he? He was the Great Red. The dragon god of dreams. He rarely found anything that could surprise him, but Ichigo's abilities truly astounded him.

"You will be more impressed if I show you my collection. Come this way."

Ichigo brought Great Red to his personal collection room, filled with unique artifacts and false sacred gear.

"Holy shit! Aren't those all sacred gears?" Great Red exclaimed.

He even felt that all of the sacred gears connected to the heaven system. The Heaven System was created by God's authorities. And somehow Ichigo had it.

'Did God transfer his authorities to him? But why?'

Heaven had Michael and archangels. Why he was chosen to receive these powers instead of them, he didn't know. The biblical god was someone he could not see through at all.

'Like they always said. Everything happens for a reason.'

Ichigo showed him his collection, then he asked.

"Are they enough to be called treasury?"

"Yes, they are more than enough. Let's get out of here. Otherwise, I might raid this place out of instinct." Great Red was a dragon. And he had an urge to collect treasure.

"Okay, let's do that then."

Ichigo didn't want his collection to be raided by the Great Red. He was not strong enough to fight with Great Red yet.

"Well, let's make this day our boys' day out. I want to go drink some booze."

"But it is still daytime."

"Who cares about time? If we want to drink, just go and drink!" Great Red laughed and brought Ichigo along with him.

He didn't have any friends, so it was a good choice to make his brother-in-law his first friend.

Ichigo had texted everyone. He got kidnapped by Great Red and might not come back until dinner.
