Chapter 194 Before the fight

Kenpachi had been waiting for long enough.

He didn't care about anyone anymore.

He will fight with Kurosaki Ichigo today. Even if the Captain Commander were to come and try to stop him.

The words of their fight spread within a few minutes many captains and lieutenant had come to look at their fight.

One of them was of course Soifon.

He might be strong but could not be compared to other captains who had achieved Bankai.

Retsu knew Kenpachi well. He would never think that a good fight was a punishment.

Even if he would be killed in the fight.

Soifon heard that and looked at Retsu.

She didn't know why she said that but she didn't think much of it.

She focused on the fight that was about to happen. She wanted to know how much Ichigo had improved.

On the opposite side of the stadium where Retsu and Soifon were.

A captain wearing pink haori spoke while drinking a bottle of sake.

"Ho, So many captains have come. This fight must be very interesting."

Beside him his lieutenant warned him as the training ground had rules that forbid drinking.

Nanao felt like smacking him with her notepad but she refrained from doing it as it would make her look bad.

She didn't say anything anymore as she would report his behavior directly to the captain commander later so he would be punished.

Only the captain commander could punish him as he was his master.

"Oh you also come to see the fight, Byakuya-dono. As expected of your family to claim him so fast."

Kyuraku spoke to Byakuya as he had come to see the fight too.

He sat next to him with a cool expression.

"As it should be."

He came with his wife but his wife went toward where Soifon and Retsu were talking to each other.

Women really liked gossiping and Hisana wasn't except for the tradition as well.

"I really envied you. This meant that your family would have two people of captain level. The power balance would be broken. I didn't know what those great noble families would do though."

"They won't be able to do anything as it was not only Kurosaki Ichigo but also Soifon-taichou. If they were to make a move. They would have to face not only the 6th division but the 2nd division too."

They might be afraid of the 6th division but it would be a nightmare for them to have a problem with the 2nd division.

Like those people from the church. They had to be afraid they would not be able to wake up another day.
