Chapter 163 What is heart

Ichigo went toward the shared room, where he would be staying with Rangiku and Miyako.

The room wasn't big or small, but it was enough for three people to share comfortably. The walls were adorned with simple old Japanese-style decorations, giving the space a cozy and pleasant atmosphere.

Rangiku and Miyako were there waiting for him while drinking sake together.

They greeted Ichigo with warm smiles and invited him to join them. The aroma of the sake filled the air, adding to the already cozy ambiance of the room.

"You are back. Now you can tell us about the investigation, right?"

Rangiku said. Her face was a little bit red from the alcohol. Ichigo nodded, taking a seat next to them.

"Yes, I can tell you about it now. and about reporting to Sosuke-taicho. He knew everything before I had the chance to report."

Hearing that, Miyako nodded her head in understanding. She took a sip of her sake before she spoke.

"That's Sosuke Aizen for you, alright. He is very smart and always has a plan. I tell you, he is the most dependable yet very scary person at the same time."

Miyako was older than anyone in this place, so she knew more about Aizen than anyone else. Both Rangiku and Ichigo looked at her and listened to her intensely.

"Can you tell me more about Sosuke-taicho?"

Ichigo asked curiously. He heard many things about him from Soifon, but it was only general knowledge. Miyako seemed to know more about Aizen than Soifon somehow.

"Why not. He is our leader on this expedition. You have the right to know who you are following. Listen carefully, as everything I have to say is information that only people more than four hundred years old would know."

Yeah, Shinigami talked about age in three digits. And Rangiku's age wasn't older than four hundred years. She just hit two hundred this year. So she didn't know much about Aizen.

Miyako started to tell them about the tale of a shinigami called Sosuke Aizen. He almost destroyed Seireitei once, but fortunately, the Soul King had descended from heaven to stop him. He also told everyone that his sins were forgiven and that he should be treated with respect.

Both Rangiku and Ichigo showed different expressions. Rangiku showed a face full of awe, while Ichigo showed a face full of curiosity.

They wonder why Aizen almost destroyed Seireitei and why the soul king didn't punish him yet tell everyone to treat him with respect.

"I don't know about it either, but after that time, Sosuke-taicho became someone very important to Seireitei, and no one dared to mess with him except a few people like Shihoin Yoruichi and Urahara Kisuke or those who are younger than four hundred years old."

Miyako looked at Ichigo. She knew that mentioning Yoruichi might trigger some emotion in him, as he was her disciple. But when she saw that he didn't show any signs of distress, she felt relief.

And after that, all Miyako could tell them was normal information that they could find everywhere.

"We should rest a little. Sosuke-taisho should call us soon to give us an order."

Ichigo was his second in command, so his responsibility might be greater than that of anyone else. So he should rest when he can.

Stark walked toward where he could feel Ichigo. He could tell that he was being observed now. It made him feel a little scared, but there's nothing he could do.

The man had promised him that he would find his friend for him, but in return, he needed to do something for him.

Ichigo was doing some simple experiments on the white sand. He found that they contained spiritual power, but it was contaminated by hollow energy.

It was very harmful to Shinigami. Fortunately, Aizen had thought about it and created some kind of device that would negate the hollow energy that came out of them.

Ichigo was very impressed with how smart he was. He might be as smart as Urahara Kisuke or even smarter.

"Hey there, do you speak hollow language?"

Stark greeted Ichigo first to see if he could speak his language or not. If not, there might be a little problem.

"Yes, and why are you here?"

Ichigo asked him with a curious tone.

"I am here to ask you to do something for me. Of course, it wasn't something big and I will pay you for your service."

"I will consider it after hearing it."

Stark nodded, then told him.

"Could you give this to Ulquiorra?"

Ichigo looked at what Stark showed him. It was a book that he didn't think would be here.

"…Porn?"

"You know what this is!"

Stark was very surprised that Ichigo would know what it was. "Porn" was it. He knew what they did inside the book, as high-class arrancars did it to make offspring, but what was different from hollow-making offspring was the way they did it. It affected his hollow heart so much. It should be something that could give Ulquiorra the answer he was looking for.

To think that someone knew about it other than him!

Ichigo didn't know why Stark had it and why he wanted to give it to Ulquiorra. But he didn't want to know about it. He wanted to know where he got it from.
