145 Chapter 145 Emotion is complicated

Unfortunately, Misla could not come with Masaki and Venelana to the human world.

Orihime said it with a smile. Now they were playing cards. But they didn't want to use money. (Xenovia and Irina were poor) so they used taking off their outfit as a form of payment instead.

Irina said it with a hint of reluctance. As for Xenovia, She already took off her shirt and threw it onto the table.

Irina looked at Xenovia and sighed. She then slowly started unbuttoning her own shirt, resigning herself to the situation.

They were now both standing half-naked. Orihime was really good at playing cards.

"Let's go for the next round!" 

Orihime exclaimed excitedly, shuffling the deck of cards with a silly grin on her face. But before the next round could begin, someone had come, interrupting their game.

"Wow, what are you all doing?"

It was Ichigo. He didn't think that he would stumble upon them playing such a shameful game as this.

"Ichigo, welcome home!"

Orihime went and hugged him. He was very busy so it was very rare for him to come home.

Ichigo smiled and hugged her back.

"Ara, Ichigo-chan. You are really a sinful man."

Orihime, who was very happy hugging Ichigo, heard those words and couldn't help but look at Masaki. She came with him to his house to check on it. Who would have thought that her son would keep women inside his house like this?

And they were all beautiful.

"And is that you, Irina-chan?"

Irina smiled happily.

"You two should wear your clothes. And for the reminder: Don't play cards with her if your god isn't by your side."

Ichigo said this because he had experienced it firsthand. He could never win Orihime in a luck-based game.

Xenovia looked at everyone with a lonely expression. She was an orphan that the church had taken in. So she never knew about parental love or the feeling of having a family.

Masaki was quick to take notice of Xenovia's sadness. She approached her and said something that no one else had ever said to her before.

"Wanna be my daughter?"

Xenovia was shocked and then she looked at Irina. She looked back at her sheepishly and said sorry to her.

Irina might have told her something about her for her to come and say this. Xenovia wanted to refuse but she couldn't find the right words.

"Don't think too much, dear. Just let me spoil you a little bit and that's all."

Masaki said it with a warm smile. Her motherly instincts kicked in, and Xenovia couldn't help but nod in agreement.

Ichigo shook his head, seeing Masaki become emotional like that.
