Chapter 141 Tsundere old man

The Bael family castle was so big that Ichigo thought it was so wasteful.

It wasn't like many people lived inside of it.

Even with the servants and guards. They could only fill one tenth of it.

And there were almost thousands of devils living inside the castle.

Fortunately. Cleaning magic was a thing. Otherwise, it would be a nightmare to clean the castle every day.

Ichigo liked a minimalist lifestyle. So living inside such a big place was something he would find suffocating.

Ichigo shook his head as he followed the old butler with his mother and his aunt.

They were now talking about nostalgic things.

He didn't know much about his mother's family. But he knew that It should be very complicated.

They arrived at the place where the old ancestor might be. Ichigo could feel the dreadful feeling from far away.

'This feeling is the same as what I could feel from the captain commander.'

The old ancestor must be very strong. Ichigo felt he would be killed instantly if they were to fight.

But he wouldn't die just because he was killed. He had prepared many things so he wouldn't die easily.

"Master, I have brought everyone here."

The old butler said to Zekram.

The old ancestor sitting on his throne nodded at him. The old butler then went to stand on the side.

He looked at them with a smile. He must be very happy that the grandchildren had come to visit the old ancestor.

Masaki and Venelanan with Ichigo behind them, were now face to face with him.

"It's been a while… ancestor."

Venelana greeted him with a proper bow. Masaki followed her.

Zekram looked at both of them and didn't react at all. 

He just looked past them and focused solely on Ichigo.

Ichigo greeted him in a very elegant manner. He nodded in satisfaction. Then he focused back on Venelana and Masaki.

"It's been more than four hundred years. Not in a while."

Zekram said without emotion.

Venelana's eyebrow twitched slightly. But keep silent. It was that long they didn't meet each other.

"I won't speak much. I will test him right away if he is worthy to inherit the house of bael or not."

Zekram didn't wait for them to prepare. He just flicked his hand then everything around them changed.

His magic was also very strong.

Masaki and Venelana were brought near him for safety. As for the old butler. He was nowhere on sight.

Zekram must have sent him somewhere as this was the matter inside the family.

Venelana sighed even though he might be a little bit grumpy. 

But he cared for her and even Masaki, who he just found out that she was actually his great great great great granddaughter.

Zekram looked at Ichigo. He really wanted to know if his great grandson was like what he had heard or not.

'Would he be on par or greater than that failure of a grandson.'

He was disappointed in Sirzechs and he didn't want to be disappointed again. So if Ichigo was on par with him or a little bit inferior to him.

He would not let him walk on the same path of Sirzeches.

Ichigo looked around. He thought they would speak with each other first. Who would have thought that the old ancestor would want to test him immediately.

"I heard that you have inherited the power of destruction. Show me what you can do with it"

Zekram said coolly. But Venelana knew that he was excited. He wanted a strong male heir except Sirzeches for a very long time.

Now his hope might come true today.

The test was… so easy.

Zekram tested his control over his power, which he could do perfectly.

Even though the intensity of his power of destruction was still lacking, that was because he was still growing.

When he became a proper adult. His power of destruction would be much stronger.

Zakrem couldn't hold it in anymore as he smiled for a second. He then went back to his usual grumpy face.

"Exceptional, you are worthy enough. I will appoint you as the heir of the most ancient and powerful house of bael from now on. You will get full support when the time of need has arrived."

Zekram then looked at both Venelana and Masaki.

"Now you have passed the test. You can go"

Zekram then sent Ichigo away. He had many things he wanted to say with his two granddaughters.

Ichigo was in front of the castle.

He blinked.

"Why can't he just send me outside the hall?"

The castle was so big. If he walked normally it would take all day just to walk from the castle gate to the inner part.

Old butler had to use a magic device for them to travel faster.

Ichigo didn't have that magic device so he had to use Shunpo to travel around the castle.

He thought about the old ancestor. Only one thing could describe him.

'Tsundere old man'

Ichigo shook his head. He was really a young master now.

And as he was wandering around the castle. He could sense a familiar feeling and then he found a man with a familiar face.

'Sairaorg?'

It was his other cousin. He met him once when Venelana visited him with Rias. He came with them.

They hit it off but that was the only time they met with each other.

Craze: I don't know man, Now Ichigo had Soifon, Rukia, Sona, and Rias as the official wives already. I might speed up the story for a bit. He also will have hollow wives like Nel and Harribel too.
