140 Chapter 140 Troublesome race

Ichigo had come to the underworld once at the captain meeting.

But he didn't have a chance to travel around. 

So riding on a train in the underworld was something new to him.

It was not much different from riding the train in the human world. 

The thing that he found completely different was the food on the train.

It was very weird even by his standards.

"Why don't you try it? Ichigo-chan. Mom assures you will love it."

Masaki smiled while eating the screaming food. It looked very alive.

It screamed in pain and begged for mercy.

"I am not hungry, Mom. You can have all of it if you want."

Ichigo didn't want to eat it at all. He wasn't a picky eater but it was too weird for him.

Masaki just shrugged and ate Ichigo's portion. She hadn't had them since she ran away from home.

The food was just made by devil magic. Even though it looked horrendous on the outside.

But the taste was even more delicious than those 5 star chefs.

They rode on the train for two hours and then the train arrived at the capital of the devil society, The Lilith City.

It was very big and majestic. It was so different from Seireitei.

On the platform.

Venelana was waiting for them. Many devils would remember her if she wasn't in disguise right now.

"Welcome!"

Venelana greeted Ichigo and Masaki with a big hug.

Both Masaki and Ichigo returned it with a smile.

"It isn't that long since we met, Big sis"

Maski spoke. They just met two days ago. Ichigo stayed quiet as he didn't see her fir some time.

"I have to act accordingly."

Venelana responded. There were many sharp eye devils observed everywhere.

If they found something suspicious. They would do anything to know why they were out of place.

They did it because they were paranoid. They were afraid because devils themselves were a problematic race.

The high echelon wanted to know everything. It actually made sense.

Venelana finished her greeting then brought Ichigo and Masaki toward her car. It was a very expensive car.

She didn't like it but in devil society. She needed to show off some of her wealth otherwise trouble would come and find her.

What a complex life the devils had.

Both Venelana and Masaki were very emotional right now. How long was it that they hadn't come home.

The Bael family had a very tight security. If it was someone who didn't have Bael's bloodline.

Venelana parked the car in front of the castle gate.

And an old butler stood at the center.

Venelana and Masaki greeted him back. They seemed to be very close in the past.

He then looked at Ichigo and greeted him too. He called him Young Master which made Ichigo feel funny for some reasons.

The old butler then led them inside. He said that the old ancestor had been expecting them.

He had prepared the test for Ichigo already. He said that he didn't have time to waste but actually he wanted to know more about his supposed many-great great grandson.
