Chapter 138 They knew something

Ichigo and Soifon went to meet with Byakuya and to their surprise he came with his beautiful wife.

Rukia was with them too but she was silent the whole time.

She was trying to keep to herself how shy she was. 

She didn't think that her big brother in law and her sister would come to the human world as soon as she told them about what Ichigo had done to her Gigai.

'Will he blame me for that?'

Rukia looked at Ichigo and saw that he wasn't showing any expression right now so she didn't know what he was thinking.

Byakuya looked cold on the outside. But everyone could see that he really cared about his wife deeply as he would secretly look at her from time to time.

"Why have you come here, Kuchiki-taicho."

Soifon asked him directly. They were at the same status as the captain of Gotei Jusantai. 

There was no need for such a formality.

Byakuya spoke calmly but everyone could tell that he wanted to chase Soifon away.

This made both Byakuya and Hisana wonder why she acted like that.

"I am his fiancée. Why can't I talk on his behalf? Right, Ichigo"

"I don't know much about politics so Soifon is going to be my spokesperson. Don't misunderstand, I didn't think anything bad about Kuchiki-fukutaicho."

Ichigo smiled toward Rukia who was very happy. She did not care about what Soifon had said as it was irrelevant.

Byakuya then looked at Hisana. Rukia was considered to be someone of the great noble house.

To have her become a concubine was out of the question but the one who was his fiancee was Soifon.

The situation became very complicated.

"I don't intend to be his first wife. I have enough on my plate as a captain. You should know it as well. Kuchiki-taicho."

Byakuya nodded at Soifon. He also knew how busy a captain was except for a few like Kyuraku.

"Are you really sure that you don't want to be the first wife? But what about the others?"

Hisana said while smiling, She was sure that someone like Ichigo should have more women interested in him.

As even Soifon couldn't escape him.

Soifon thought about it a little bit and then answered her.

"I am sure that I didn't want to be the first wife as for the others. He should be the one to answer."

Soifon looked at Ichigo. This question should be answered by him.

"I have someone who would be my first wife. I can't tell you right now about it."

Ichigo said calmly. No, no one on Shinigami's side shouldn't know about it as it could mess up his daily life.

"Is that so? And what are you thinking of this Rukia?"

Hisana wanted to know how her little sister felt. If she was okay with it. She and Byakuya had prepared a way for her.

But if she chose Ichigo. It might be very hard for her.

"I–can't marry anyone else except him"

Rukia spoke with a red face. She had decided that Ichigo would be the only man for her in this life.

Hisana then looked at Ichigo. She wanted his opinion as well.

"I don't know much about Kuchiki-fukutaicho but as I have heard about the tradition. I know I have to be responsible for the things I have done. I am willing to take care of her from now on"

Ichigo was a responsible person. What he had done wrong he would be the one to fix it.

They then talked about the engagement in detail. Ichigo couldn't believe it. The date of the engagement was close to the date when he had to fight with Riser for Rias's hand in marriage.

Byakuya and Hisana smiled at him. Ichigo, who was very smart, knew immediately that they knew something.
