Chapter 12 Himejima family

Isshin led Ichigo into the shrine.

It wasn't grand or anything but everything looked peaceful and clean.

He could feel that there was some kind of barrier around the shrine but it was very thin.

Its purpose shouldn't be to prevent people from going inside but to notify people inside that there were guests.

Isshin was just a normal human so they might not notice him but when it came to Ichigo.

He was like a light bulb in the dark.

And as the duo of father and son step inside the barrier.

A loud and powerful voice resound from the sky.

"Who are you? This is the fallen angel territory. State your purpose."

Ichigo trembled. He could feel that someone was looking at him from the sky.

His aura was too strong for him. He felt like his very being was suppressed.

He forced himself to look up and saw a man with six pairs of black angel wings.

'What is this power…So powerful…'

This was the first time he faced such a being.

He felt hopeless. If the being wanted to kill him. He could do so just by his presence alone.

And when Ichigo was about to faint because of the difference in power.

Isshin yelled at the man without fear.

"Stop this instant! Baraqiel, He is my son you jack ass!"

"Isshin?"

Baraqiel stopped oppressing Ichigo instantly when he heard Isshin's voice.

He looked at Isshin in surprise.

They really know each other.

Ichigo took a deep breath. He thought he was going to die.

Baraqiel flew down from the sky before he greeted Isshin in a friendly manner.

He didn't mind him calling him jack ass at all.

"Finally you show up. Do you know that we've been searching for you for five years. Where have you been all this time?"

Baraqiel inquired. He really wanted to know.

"Sorry, There's so many things that I have to do and before I knew it. Five years have passed. Time sure waits for no one."

"Yeah, That's right and and is that your son. I am sorry boy. I thought you were an intruder."

Baraqiel apologized to Ichigo sincerely. He felt guilty when he saw that Ichigo was very young.

He might even younger than his daughter.

"What happened, Baraqiel? You are full on guard. Normally you would ask first before suppressing anyone."

Isshin asked curiously. He knew that something must have happened.

Otherwise the friend he knew for a hundred years wouldn't act like that.

Baraqiel went silent a little before he replied.

"It's because of the Himejima clan."

"Himejima clan? You mean that Himejima clan, One of the big families of Onmyoji?"

"Yes, I want to explain it to you but this place isn't appropriate. Let's go inside first."

Baraqiel led them inside.

And when they were inside. Ichigo and Isshin were greeted by a very beautiful woman.

She greeted them politely.

"This is my wife, Himejima Shuri. And Shuri. This is my friend that I told you. Kurosaki Isshin and that boy is his son."

Baraqiel introduced everyone to each other. Then he looked for someone.

"Shuri, Where is Akeno?"

"She is in her room and should be doing her home work. Do you want me to fetch her dear?"

Baraqiel shook his head then he looked at Isshin.

It was a sigh that told him that what they were going to speak wasn't something for kid.

Isshin nodded. Ichigo might mature more than normal kid but he was still at the end of the day. Kid.

So Isshin spoke to Ichigo.

"Ichigo, Dad is going to speak something very important with him. You should go and play with his daughter."

Ichigo nodded. He knew when to listen but he didn't know where the daughter was.

Shuri gigled a bit. He found that Ichigo was really cute.

"Come with aunty. Aunty will show you where Akeno room is."

Shuri then held Ichigo hand and led him to Akeno room.

He treated him like Masaki treating him. They were actually pretty close in character.

Isshin when he saw that Ichigo had gone with Shuri. Then he looked at Baraqiel and asked him.

"Do you want help. Even though I am not a captain anymore but I still have some connection within 13 royal guard squad."

Isshin was ready to help his friend.

Himejima clan was a clan of very strong Onmyji. But they still could not be compare to shinigami.

Baraqiel shook his head. He didn't want to get his friend involved in his matter.

"No, You don't have to do anything. The Himejima clan couldn't make a move soon because they would be attack by the other clan."

Isshin nodded when he heard that but he would not stay still.

He knew that sooner of later the Himejima clan would attack them again.

Unfortunately that he didn't have power anymore. Otherwise he would be able to help easily.
