Chapter 106 Human custom

Soifon shook her head, Who would have thought that her junior disciple could be this cheeky? He kissed her cheek without permission. But she didn't scold him and act like nothing happened after. 

"Then what should we do with the fallen angel?"

After he talked about his short visit to Hueco Mundo, Ichigo spoke with her about the matter of the fallen angel wanting to make Kuoh town into the battlefield.

The one behind this idea was Kokabeil. He wanted to bring the war era back to the human world.

The last time, they still didn't have a clear winner of the war because they ceased fire first. 

However, Kokabeil believed that by instigating a battle in Kuoh town, he could reignite the conflict and ensure a decisive outcome. 

This posed a grave threat to the peace and safety of both the human and spiritual realms.

"Another headache. This matter, I will bring it to the meeting right away. Kokebeil was a cadre. He was pretty powerful. If he wanted to destroy Kuoh town, he could, and he would get the war he wanted."

Soifon, then contact Seireitei right there. She got a response not long after. 

The response from Seireitei confirmed the seriousness of the situation and the need for immediate action. They gave her permission to move as she saw fit to neutralize the threat posed by Kokebeil and ensure the safety of Kuoh town. 

They didn't call for a captain's meeting like they used to.

"It looks like we don't have much manpower, so they gave me permission to end it quickly. I can kill him in two strikes then."

Kokabeil might be a cadre, but he wasn't a match for a captain like Soifon. If he appeared, he would die without even knowing what happened.

He must be very strong against the devil, but he was weak against the soul race.

"Now, go back to your duty. Notice me when he comes. and leave me with two clones so that I could finish my work faster."

Soifon then shu Ichigo away. Her mind was still wandering about how he kissed her. Ichigo nodded and did as he was told to.

He went out of the room and saw that Rukia was nearby. She looked at him in anticipation. She must have waited for him to come out to just see a glimpse of his presence.

"What can I do for you, Kuciki-fukutaicho?"

Ichigo spoke to her first, and it made her almost vibrate with excitement. She had been hoping for a chance to talk to him alone.

She was very cute. Her eyes sparkled with a mix of delight and nervousness as she stood before him. Rukia's petite figure and cheerful smile only added to her undeniable charm. 

"I want to ask you about many things in the human world. Do you have time to have lunch with me?"

She asked him out on a lunch date, and she herself didn't know human custom, so she saved herself from emberassing. 

She hoped that by inviting him to lunch, she could create a friendly and comfortable atmosphere for their conversation. Plus, sharing a meal would give them more time to connect and get to know each other better. 

'I will do as my big sister said. I got her approval too!'

"I still have some time before I have to do my work. Let's go. I have a nice place in mind. And you will like it, I am sure."

Ichigo smiled kindly at her invitation, recognizing her curiosity about the human world. He agreed to have lunch with her, telling her that he would be happy to answer any questions she had.

The place that Ichigo brought her to have lunch was a very cozy place. It had a warm and inviting atmosphere, with soft lighting and comfortable seating. The aroma of delicious food filled the air.

"Ichiraku ramen?"

Rukia came here many times, but she hadn't seen this place before. As they sat down, Rukia couldn't help but ask him.

"Is this a new restaurant? I don't remember seeing it here before." 

Rukia inquired, her curiosity sparked by the unfamiliar surroundings. Ichigo smiled and explained it to her.

"This is a Youkai restaurant. You can't come in if you don't have permission. But you come with me so it's okay."

Ichigo then looked at the racoon youkai, who made ramen for them. His name was Teuchi. He was the greatest ramen youkai he had ever seen. And he was very strong.

"Oh, are you on a lunch date today, Ichigo-san?"

Teuchi smiled at them warmly. Ichigo shook his head but didn't say anything, as it might make Rukia feel bad.

Rukia didn't know about human custom, so she asked him what he meant by lunch date. Teuchi chuckled and explained. 

"A lunch date is when two people go out to eat together, usually to spend time and get to know each other better. It's a common human custom for wooing."

Rukai was shocked to learn about the concept of wooing. She had never considered the idea of spending time with and getting to know someone over a meal. It was a foreign concept to her as a shinigami.

And as Rukai was processing this new information, a fox youkai appeared and hugged Ichigo with her brightest smile.

"Ichigo! Where have you been? I was wating for you all this time!"

This made Rukia feel jealous and forget about her initial confusion about wooing.
