62 Normal Life

"Uh....." Ichigo was finding it very hard to speak. Toshiro sighed.

"Can you guys please go home now? We have our jobs to do." Toshiro grumbled. Rangiku nodded.

"Yeah! Like giving these pictures to the Editing Department!" Rangiku held up the camera with a grin. Ichigo sighed and looked at Rukia.

"Hey. I'll see you soon, okay?" Ichigo rubbed her head. Rukia smiled at him and nodded.

"When you see me again, you'll definitely be surprised at how strong I've gotten." Rukia smirked at him. Ichigo snickered.

"We'll see about that, Rukia." Ichigo muttered and they walked towards the central Senkaimon installation.

Ichigo looked at Rukia for one last time. He waved at her, she waved back. Ichigo smiled and looked at the bright entrance.

Ichigo and his friends walked through the door. The door closed in an instant. Rukia watched it for a while before sighing.

She looked at the promise ring on her ring finger. She smiled sweetly. A tear flowed down from her right eye.

Toshiro and Rangiku at least had some sense to leave her alone. Rukia started to sob. She knelt on the ground.

"I love you so much, idiot."

"I hate this." Uryū grumbled as he and his friends were running through the Dangai.

"You hate this because your cardio sucks." Ichigo taunted back while taking the lead. Uryū growled.

"Stop complaining. Look, there's the exit." Yoruichi interrupted.

Ichigo emerges from the Dangai alongside the others, only to find themselves in midair.

They started falling down from the sky. Ichigo looked at Orihime who reacted quickly and started the incantation to summon Santen Kesshun.

Suddenly, Ururu Tsumugiya fires a large cloth out of her Senren Bakusatsu Taihō that wraps itself around the group and forms a ball which hurtles through the air. The group except Ichigo looked in confusion.

As he leaps into the air with his Muteki Tekkon held high, Jinta Hanakari prepares to smack the group away with his special move, Jinta Home Run.

But he is interrupted when Tessai appears behind him in midair and catches both Jinta and the group with his own special ability, Tessai Death Catch.

"I feel like throwing up." Chad muttered to himself.

" Please don't. " Ichigo muttered back.

Tessai brings the group to a flat, flying cloth being piloted by Urahara, where Ururu lands and removes the cloth covering the group.

" We meet again." Ichigo smiled at Urahara. Urahara smiled back.

"Welcome back everyone! How did your journey go? Was it successful? " Urahara asked them excitedly. Yoruichi chuckled.

" It was disastrous, Kisuke. One of us decided to go on his own when we encountered the Sekkiseki walls." Yoruichi looked at Ichigo who started whistling.

"I don't know what you're talking about, Yoruichi." Ichigo grinned back. Urahara chuckled.

"Sit down everyone. It seems you all have lots of stories to share. Especially you, Ichigo. " Urahara looked at Ichigo.

" Yeah, Ichigo. Tell them what you did back there. " Yoruichi patted his back. Ichigo sighed.

Ichigo proceeded to tell his point of view. Urahara was astonished to say the least. But his reaction went out of the roof when Ichigo told him the part where he battled the captains and the Captain Commander himself.

"You fought who!?!?" Urahara jumped up in shock. Ichigo snickered.

"The old man or what the people call him, Captain Commander." Ichigo grinned mischievously at him. Urahara took off his bucket hat and scratched his head.

"And how did that go?" Urahara asked him.

"I was defeated. But at least I got him to release his Bankai before that. " Ichigo answered. Urahara has stopped working.

" You got the strongest Shinigami in Soul Society to release his B-bankai.... What the fuck. " Urahara muttered to himself. Ichigo patted his shoulder.

"And then what happened next?" Urahara looked at Yoruichi.

Yoruichi proceeded to explain the rest of the story. She told him about Ichigo training with his Shikai, him saving Rukia and fighting Aizen and the others who betrayed Soul Society.

"So she finally did it huh? And how did that turn out?" Urahara asked the black cat.

"Ichigo killed Tōsen easily. However, Aizen and Gin escaped from Soul Society. And now, the berry boy is in a division now. He's a seated officer as well." Yoruichi explained. Urahara looked at Ichigo with a surprised face.

" 1st Division, 4th seat. Karakura Town is my responsibility now." Ichigo explained proudly. Urahara nodded, he was very impressed but not surprised at the same time.

"Ishida-san. Isn't that your house?" Orihime pointed at a house. Uryū nodded.

"It is." Uryū got up and got ready to jump off the flying cloth.

"Hey." Ichigo called him. Uryū looked back at him.

"When you have some free time, how about we train together?" Ichigo offered. Uryū stared at him coldly.

"Did you already forget our opposite natures, Kurosaki? The next time we meet, we will be enemies. " Uryū claimed. He then jumped off the cloth dramatically.

" What's wrong with wanting to train with someone?" Ichigo grumbled. Orihime giggled and kissed his cheek.

"He'll come around, Ichigo. I know he will. If he doesn't. Well, I guess I have to knock some sense into him." Orihime smiled sweetly and raised her fist. Ichigo chuckled.

After watching Orihime and Chad are dropped off at their homes, Ichigo used Sonído and appeared in front of his home.

He jumped up to his bedroom window and opened it. He found his physical body sitting on the ground reading a book.

Ichigo entered his physical body and stood up. "I really need to ask Kisuke to make a copy of my body." Ichigo muttered to himself.

Ichigo took a much needed shower. He missed the feeling of the cold water flowing down his body.

He sighed. " I can't relax forever. I need to find Ryuken and quickly master my powers." Ichigo muttered and exited the shower. He put on his casual clothes and exited the bathroom.

*BANG!!*

Suddenly, Isshin flies into the room with a dropkick that knocks the door off its hinges.

"Take this!!" Isshin shouted. Ichigo looked at him.

"So slow." Ichigo muttered and swatted the attack away.

"Ahh!!!" Isshin screamed and crashed into the wall. He groaned in pain. Karin who was watching this smirked.

"Nothing has changed at all." Ichigo whispered.

" Good defending, Ichigo! " Isshin praised by giving him a thumbs up.

" Thanks." Ichigo grumbled.

"Please stop, the neighbors will notice." Yuzu pleaded. She looks at Karin who was very amused by the situation.

"Karin! Don't just stand there, do something!" Yuzu begged. Karin snickered.

"Like I have a chance to beat big brother up. You have to get used to it someday, Yuzu. " Karin advised and walked away. Yuzu sighed in defeat.

A day has passed since Ichigo and his friends returned from Soul Society. Thankfully it was a weekend so no school for now. Ichigo didn't waste any time and decided to make a move.

Currently, Ichigo was at someone's office, specifically, the Director of Karakura Hospital's office.

The man he was looking at is Ryūken Ishida, Uryū's father. Ryūken was wearing thin, frameless glasses and a plain grey suit with a light blue shirt and a tie adorned with Quincy crosses. He has narrow blue eyes, and is fair-skinned with white hair.

"Hello, how may I help you, Kurosaki-san?" Ryūken looked at Ichigo. He had a theory in mind about why Ichigo would visit him but he couldn't be sure about it.

"I know you're a Quincy, Ryūken-san." Ichigo replied to him. Ryūken narrowed his eyes.

"And what will you do with this information?" Ryūken asked. Ichigo leaned in closer and put his hands on the wooden table.

"Nothing. I came to see you because I believe you can help me with something." Ichigo replied to him. Ryūken was interested.

"And what is that you want my help with?" Ryūken asked him. Ichigo grinned.

"I want you to train me in my Quincy abilities, Ryūken-san....
