Magnum's Gotta Do It!

'Saying is something and doing is another.' It's a famous dialogue of those who don't trust your skills. In my case, it was my own dialogue to me.

Lying on the ground, barely having enough strength to get up, with my dress torn from some parts and blood flowing out in front of a two thousand year old monster, I doubted the chances of summoning Magnum's power. I needed to focus which was not likely the case as all my strength was lost.

My friends agreed to me for syncing with Magnum. But even they looked tired and didn't seem in a shape of fighting anymore. "D-Don't worry, Blaze. You need to focus. We will take care of this ugly monster." Oliver said and tried his best to stand up. Everyone else also got up.

Together, they all charged at Raptor, who seemed to get out of the trance of staring at the Z symbol on my back. He used intense magic, all at once. He stopped Xavier and threw him away, raised the ground which made Lily trip and before he could deal with Oliver, he got hit. Oliver had stabbed him which only gave them enough time to get up.

I, on the other hand, was on my knees, eyes closed and talking to Magnum. "I know I messed up again Magnum. Without you, there is no Blaze Hunt. I cannot see my friends in this state, dying. We need to help them. I know this is too much I am asking but-" Magnum interrupted and spoke, "Without you, there is no Magnum. Till we are together, my spirit is able to work and serve but without you, I am nothing, Blaze. This monster….. The time has come to put this destruction to an end. Focus Blaze, and you will understand what to do yourself."

Immediately, after hearing Magnum's words, I attained peace. The killing and battle going on in front of me, screams and roar and slashing of weapons, everything stopped. It was as if I had become deaf. Only thing I could hear was a small voice. No, it was not a voice. It was just a small feeling coming from deep within.

Magnum felt lighter in my hands. Though I did not open my eyes, I could feel myself glowing. I felt warmth inside, a new power. My eyes still closed, I raised my battle-axe in my hand. I got up, almost gliding! Then I opened my eyes. In front of me, the same chaos was seen. The DELTAs, Raptor stopping them each time, surroundings totally destroyed – all this did not affect me. Then I even started hearing the screams. I returned to normal, but now with a greater power.

The DELTAs were fallen down, defeated, when they looked at me. Remembering everything I had learnt during my journey, I ran towards Raptor. He would have sensed great power in me because he looked tensed. He got ready and created waves of ground to rise up as obstacles. I jumped higher than I had ever jumped. Yelling at the top of my voice, I went straight for Raptor. The obstacles cracked each time they hit the now hot molten Magnum. Nothing was able to stop me and at last the final strike arrived. I used all my power while Raptor used all his magic.
