Illusion!

Well, that was pretty easy. We didn't have to keep searching for strong warriors in town when we had the strongest one standing in front of us.

We looked at each other, dumbfound with our luck. "Do you want something from me?" He asked.

We had a little conversation about our quest with Xavier. He listened attentively. "You say you are the strongest warrior of this town. Prove it." Lily said. Not only was Xavier thrilled by our quest but also accepted Lily's challenge with pleasure. "I am not only the champion of this town, you know. A few days prior, a tournament was held. Warriors from nearby towns also participate. I won which made me the strongest in all the towns." Xavier proudly declared.

That was good for us as we did not have to go to nearby towns now that we had found Xavier. "We will see if you will keep laughing for long. Where should we battle?" Lily said. Xavier led us through the town, the part we hadn't been through. There was a small ground nearby. No person was there; the land had no trees and looked eroded.

"Is this place fine to you?" Xavier asked politely. "I don't care where, I just need to fight." Lily grinned and brought out Uniclaw. Xavier walked up to a distance and then turned to Lily. From the pocket of his jeans, he took out a stick. It was a white, thin stick which didn't look very big.

"Meet Trance, my weapon, the master of illusions!" Xavier announced looking serious. I almost laughed loudly but controlled myself. Was this some kind of joke? "That is your weapon? Never mind, I'll just kill you with Uniclaw quickly." Lily declared and started running. She ran fast and Xavier got ready for the impact.

Right before the clash, Xavier yelled, "Sword!!" Unimaginably, the white stick transformed into a huge sharp sword. He clashed with Lily and even sent Lily back. She wasn't expecting this. "This makes killing you even more interesting!" Lily said and rushed for another strike.

The weapons kept clashing until Xavier's face went red with rage. "Let's end things with my favorite weapon." He shouted and the weapon again changed its form. A red mixed with a slight tint of golden colored hammer made of steel appeared and hit Lily. The blow was so intense that Uniclaw couldn't defend. Lily went flying in a distance. She landed with many bruises.

Lily lost and resurrected. We were shocked. We were not used to seeing Lily lose like this. The hammer transformed back to the stick and he put it back into his pocket. "I just lost because I wasn't expecting that weapon of yours to do that!" Lily protested. Smiling, Xavier said, "Was that enough for me to prove my worth?"
