A Trip To Dad!

Trouflet town was very close to Foster town which made things better. Sounge took us through the streets of Foster town.

As if the shock of the biggest building of the town, Foster plaza, getting destroyed wasn't enough, citizens saw two idiots riding a vicious looking hermit through the streets. It felt awkward to have everyone stare at us but we did not have time to waste. Lily sped up as much as she could. Sounge wasn't as fast as a flying taxi but enough to be called as the fastest animal on the planet.

We avoided the vehicles as we rode Sounge through the road. The town was left behind in about ten minutes and we continued. The road grew broader as we travelled. By 8:50 pm, we reached Trouflet town. I searched through the town, hoping to find my father or grandma walking on the streets, totally fine. Obviously that wasn't the case. I helped Lily up to my house. Then I finally reached the destination.

In front of me was my palace, burning with fire. The fire was all over the area. I feared whether my father…. no, I couldn't think like that. It was not possible. Lily parked Sounge safely away from the fire, somewhere near the street light and joined me.

"No! We need to go inside, now!" I exclaimed and ran in closer until Lily caught my hand. "You'll burn yourself and nothing else, stupid!" She shouted. Then the front part of the roof fell down right in front of us, blocking the entrance. I was too lost to think. "The window, we need to go through there." Lily pointed to the backside of the house. We rushed there to find a closed window.

"Get aside." I said and took out Magnum to crash the window. The glass broke into pieces, some even falling on us. But we finally had a way in now. We climbed inside and I quickly scanned the surroundings. Everything was on fire. My living room had become a mess, the curtains were on fire and the dining room was in a horrible state. On top was my room but I did not care if it had burned. It was really hot inside.

I made my way to the center of the room. As I ran, looking out of another window to find my garden burning too. More parts of the roof fell, blocking our vision ahead. Some parts of the second floor were falling as well. We were barely able to save ourselves. I searched each and every corner but could not find my father or grandma.

Then I realized that we had not checked the second floor. I rushed to catch the stairs to the above floor when the roof above me came down. Lily pushed me on top of the stairs and tried defend herself in the process as well. I looked down to see if she was safe. She emerged from the destroyed mess and gave an irritated look, as if to say Go, you idiot! "I'll take care here. You go quickly." She said. As I climbed the stairs, another row of walls came down, destroying the stairs below me.

I made my way into my room which was half destroyed. Inside, laid my father, dying!
