We Love You Rosie

Rosie went directly to the ICU after she calm herself. She wanted to verify whether what was reported in the news was true or not.

Once she arrived in front of the ICU she saw her mother lying inside with different machines connected in her body. Just like hers, her mother's head was also wrapped with bandage, her left arm were injured and different bruises and scars can be found in her body. Seeing her mother in that state, all the energy left in her body disappear until she once again collapsed in the floor.

She shook her head repeatedly not wanting to believe it "No it can't be, that's not my mother. She can't be my mother. I need to find my father first, he must know where my mother is or maybe they're together."

Looking to the person behind her she asked him again "Jackson where's my father, please bring me to him. I need to see him and talk to him."

Jackson didn't say anything but he help her to stand up. Sadness is still visible in his eyes, while holding Rosie in her arms he started to walk. His actions seemed like he wanted to bring Rosie somewhere.

Rosie on the other hand thought that Jackson will finally bring her to where her father is so he just let Jackson guide her and lead the way.

As they walk farther and farther, Rosie can't help but to think that something is wrong. They have walked pass almost every private rooms already bit they didn't stop walking and enter any of it. She believed that if her father was injured he should be lying inside of one of those rooms. Fear, anxiety and nervousness started to form in Rosie's heart and mind. Her footsteps also became so heavy which causes her to exert more strength and effort to continue walking. With a heavy heart she continue to drag her feet to where Jackson was leading her.

But as they continue walking she stop midway, unable to move or in other words she don't want to continue walking not to mention to take a single step forward. Seeing the sign ahead of them her body starts trembling.

Sensing the changes in Rosie's movement Jackson started to speak.

"Didn't you say that you wanted me to bring you to your father. I'll grant you your request now. Just a few steps Rosie and you will be able to see your father again."

Rosie shook her head again "No.. no.. my father is not there." Then she turned around as if wanting to escape and get out of the place as soon as possible.

"Rosie... Rosie listen to me okay. Get a grip of yourself please. I know it's hard for you but you need to face the reality. Your father is there, he's been lying there for several hours. You need to go and see him now. You should see him and bid your farewell for one last time." Jackson said while trying to get a hold of Rosie. He knows that it will take time before Rosie will be able to accept the reality but they should take care of Mr. Briant's body first.

Listening to Jackson, Rosie started to walk slowly. The closer she walks toward the door at the end of the hallway, the clearer the sign appears on her sight.

"MORGUE"

The sign was large and clear, even if she wanted to escape this moment, she needed to check and see for herself if her father was really there. Her breathing became heavy, her hands were still trembling as it reach to open the door.

A cold body lying in the table greeted her once she enters the room. That person, she definitely knows who he is. The news a while ago were not mistaken because the body in front of her is no other than but her father. Seeing his lifeless body, Rosie can't help but burst into tears again.

"Da.. Dad wake up, why are you lying here. My mom and I were waiting for you, why are you still here. Dad why aren't you talking, Dad hurry and stand up we still need to go and see mom." Rosie tried to lift his father's body but chills run down her body as soon as she came in contact with his cold body. It was cold as ice and no pulse can be felt.

"NOOOO Dad don't leave me and mom... Please don't leave us Dad"

Rosie cried so hard that her eyes were so red now.

"Don't worry Rosie we will take care of uncle's body and funeral. Just take care of auntie for now." Jackson knows that Rosie was not in the condition to take care of this things so he will lend her a helping hand.

When Rosie get herself together she decide to visit her mother. Entering the ICU she now have the chance to take a closer look to her mother. Her heart aches so much when she saw the condition of her mom. When the doctor visit a while ago, he said that the chance of survival were so small and they need to prepare theirselves for the worst. Hearing this, Rosie's world starts to crumble, she didn't know what would she do if she will also lose her mom. Her Dad was already taken away from her, she can't take it anymore if they will also take her mom away. Just thinking about this, Rosie's mind feels like it was going to explode anytime. She cried and cried and calls her mother's name repeatedly. Wishing that she will be able to hear it and wake up soon.

"Mom wake up please, don't leave me. I don't know what I'm going to do if you all left me alone. Remember you promise to sing a song for me when we get back home. I'm still waiting and holding onto your promise. Please Mom wake up.

Seems like the heavens heard her prayers, her mother's fingers started to twitch then slowly her eyes started to open. A ray of hope flashed through Rosie's eyes. Just when she was about to call the doctor yo checked her mother's condition, her Mom stop her by holding onto her hand tightly. Seeing as if she wants to say something Rosie lean closer to her mother.

With great hardship her mother tried to speak "Rosie, my... my lovely daughter I'm sorry we won't be able to accompany you when you grow up. I.. I'm sorry if we need to leave you early but always remember that we will always love you. Al.. always take care of yourself, don't cry for too long.. Don't mourn for too long. We love you Rosie."

And with that Rosie's mother left the world.
