I have a favor to ask you

It was already 7:00 in the evening when Rosie went out of her room. Dinner is almost ready and her parents where already at the table.

"Good evening Mom, good evening Dad." Rosie greeted them.

"Oh good evening my dear. I was just about to ask Mr. Fred to call you for dinner. Here take you seat." Mrs. Stefanie said.

After that they started eating harmoniously.

"Mom, Dad I have something to tell you. Ahmmm well it's about the result of our final exam." Rosie said in a sad tone.

"Why are you sad my dear? Did you get a low grades? Well as we said in the past, it didn't matter if you got a high grades or not as long as you don't fail your subject it is enough for us." Mrs. Stefanie said comforting her.

"Your mother is right Rosie, although it would be great if you got a high grades but we didn't require you to do so. It's enough as long as you do your best, what's important is that you should enjoy your studies. If you will be able to get high grades it should be because of your own initiative and not because you were force to do so." Mr. Briant said.

Hearing what her parents said, Rosie felt so happy, she realized that she's really luck to have them as her parents.

"But what should I do now??" Rosie paused for a while then started to speak again.

"Mom, Dad, I got high grades in our exam not only that I also rank third in our student ranking!!!" Rosie said proudly.

"What?! Really? Is it true... how did it happen?" Mrs. Stefanie rounded her eyes with shock. She can't also believed it because they know that Stefanie doesn't like studying and was lazy when it comes to school matters.

"Well it just happened. I only study hard before our exam then the result came out unexpectedly." Rosie can't really stop feeling proud of herself.

"Oh really that's good to hear then. I'm so proud you Rosie. It was so unexpected but it's also for your own good." Mrs. Stefanie said then hugged Rosie.

"Congrats Rosie we're proud of you. It only shows that you can if you just work hard, study hard and put a lot of effort into something you will be able to achieve good results and you will become successful. Always keep up the good work." Mr. Briant said.

Rosie smiled at them, "Thank you Mom and Dad, thank you for always trusting on me and understanding. Don't worry from now on I will continue do my best and study hard."

After that they enjoy the rest of their dinner.

Rosie was already lying on her bed, she was hesitating if she will send message to Jackson but after thinking for a few minutes she decided to take the initiative.

"Hi Mr. Jackson. Are you busy this coming Saturday?"

"Hi Rosie, no I'm not busy since it weekends I don't have to go to work. Why are you asking?" Jackson reply after a minute.

"Well would you mind if I invite you to go out. Just to watch a movie or have a tea or something."

After she send that text she immediately send another one.

"Oh well don't worry it's not a date. Just getting to know each other. And it's not only the two of us, I'll also bring my best friend. So it was just a simple gathering." After Rosie send that message, she feels so nervous. Afraid that her offer will only be rejected.

Dug dug...dug dug..... her heart was beating so loud and fast. After a few minutes she received a message.

"Okay sure, since I don't have anything to do that day... Let's just meet after lunch." Jackson replied.

Rosie automatically jump out of bed when she read the message. She can't believed it, Jackson really did agree to her.

"Okay... then see you in front of Stardust cafe... Goodnight :)"

After their conversation she immediately call her best friend.

"Hi Rosie what's up??" Lienne said as soon as she picks up.

"Lienne I wanna ask you to do me a favor. Well, I invited Jackson to go out this weekend and he agreed but I told him that I will be bringing my best friend. So can you go join us this weekend?" Rosie answered, since she already told Jackson that they will be going out this weekend together with her best friend, she will be needing Lienne to join them.

"Sure no problem but why do I need to be there. Wouldn't I be a third wheel and disturb the two of you." Lienne agrees but she was confuse for her purpose.

"I just don't want things to be awkward between the two of us and I don't want him to think that I'm asking him for a date. If you were there it will only looks like a normal friend gathering. There will be no pressure and we can know more about each other naturally. Aside from that you are much more better than me in initiating conversations. Another thing is my parents will be at ease if they knew that you will be joining us. You already know how much they trust you." Rosie explained, she uses every sort of reasoning she know to convinced her friend.

"Okay fine, you win. I'll join you guys, so I'll just meet you at your house this weekend." Lienne answered.

"Thank you very much Lienne, as always you're the best. I know I can rely on you." Rosie said praisingly.

Lienne can't help but sighed, hearing how her best friend keep praising her.

After that they both hang up the phone. Rosie was so happy that she kept on tossing around her bed. She keep on wishing 'How I wish it is weekend already' then finally she fell asleep with that thought on her mind.
