5 Chapter 4: Ryukuy's dragon armor

After meeting with the dragoon hero he went home and start planning the armor from the materials and the shape of the armor. He then began brain storming variety of steels with different carbon levels and did research on medieval armors existing in Europe. Then he settles with a fitting design for Ryukuy's armor and her hero costume that he sticks with armor plating from the medieval times thanks to some cos players and artist making female knights in the Internet he splice some ideas and add some touches from Ryukuyu's hero costume colors and finalise the idea.

Night Muramasa residence

Muramasa then sketch the final design of the armor and he was satisfied the armor has steel plating from the chest, shoulders, arms, and legs with some plated gloves with claws to replicate her dragon quirk. To make it more beautiful for her he added a metal band similar to elven tiaras with a ruby in the center of the tiara and some saphire birthstones as her birthday is in September. And other details are a surcoat with the same red and the yellow patter in her costume. He takes a photo of the final blueprint and send it to Ryukuyu personally in her number he got from her.

Ryukuyu's condo

Ryukuyu or Ryuko Tatsuma her civilian name who is currently doing some paperwork from her hero work at her home. And her phone has a notification about Ryu's final Design of her armor and as she sees her armor at his final sketch. She was astonished and amazed with his final design where her armor can see some function and a beautifully detailed tiara as a part of her armor the surcoat with her original hero costume pattern and colors were there until she read a message from Ryu asking for the name of her armor. In which she responded calling it Dragonborn Armor in the message and Ryu Gave her a thumbs up emoji and both went to bed.

Early morning Ryu Muramasa residence

Ryu is now currently taking care of some orders he asked for Ryu's armor and he is currently began doing some leather work in his workshop and with his notebook measuring her hands he prepares some boar leather he got from his storage and begin to cut and sew the gloves and made sure the measurements were correct and fitting for Ryukuyu. And it was now late in the morning he finished some gloves and Ryukuyu's surcoat for her armor and began to do some prep work in his workshop.

Afternoon Ryu's workshop

As the delivery of some new material for Ryukuyu's armor arrived he finished making the gloves with no finger tips, surcoat, and leather boots to add metal plating for each of them. He checks on the materials before he signs the papers to the delivery man he inspects each material if its the right one and once he is satisfied he then signs the delivery man and gave him a small tip for his troubles. As the delivery man leaves with his truck he then stores most of the materials in storage and a few for his work. Ryu then begin to use his power hammer to begin turning it into metal sheets and went to a special workstation where he make most of his armors in there there is a metal rod with a round tip for shaping the armor, a metal clipper station for cutting the excess steel plates he then draws the steel plate using chalk for the chest piece's location and using the clippers he then began trim off the excess metal and forms a flat breastplate and now he begins to raise the plates by hammering using the back part of the Blacksmith's hammer to the empty area of the plates he first heated a specific part of the plates and began to shape and hammer by hand. While he was hammering and shaping the following stages of the armor he gets a phone call while he is making the armor he then uses the ear piece he put on and answers the call

"Yes, this is Ryu Muramasa, what can I do for you?" he asked "Hey Muramasa-san how's the armor's progress" The answer comes from Ryukuyu and Ryu answered and can hear the hammering of the metal "Yes Ryukuyu I'm currently focusing on the breastplate first before the rest, anyways I'm finished with the gloves, surcoat and boots I made myself" he said while working on the armor platings "I look at your plans and I say they are beautiful, hopefully the final product is as beautiful than the plans" she said "Yes I will ma'am and don't worry about the armor ripping itself from your quirk I think Yoroi told you about my quirk right" he said making Ryukuyu smile a bit "Alright then update about my armor's progress alright" she asked Ryu "Don't worry about it It may take a while but thanks to the machinery I have I might shortened the time of the progress" He said and ended the call right after.

Ryukuyu agency office

After ending the call Ryukuyu is current doing some paperwork and finished calling to Ryu about her armor then some of the female sidekicks began to asked

"Hey Ryukuyu who did you call" one of them asked "Oh nothing just a Blacksmith recommended by Yoroi Musha since his katana was made by him" she said making some of them perk up from the mention of Ryu "Wait ain't Blacksmithing dead?" she asked "Maybe not it's probably a dying art but him on the other hand has a very useful quirk making him reliable for many heroes" she said to her sidekick "Alright but anyways why are you interested in him anyways do you like him?" she teases Ryukuyu making her blush a bit "H-Hey don't even think about that way alright" she said with a small stutter "Oh... Then why are you blushing then" she said with a smug face and teases her more and more.

Late afternoon Muramasa residence

He is almost done with the breastplate and shaped it once more and now he is finished with the breastplate and he is now doing the same process as the shoulders, armlets, and leg armor. He did the same thing for the process in making the metal sheets into plated armor. Until tomorrow he has to make the other parts and assemble them as proper armor including the most time consuming part of making armor. Making the riveted chainmail and making the arming doublet.
