1 Chapter one

Sophie was arguing with her elder sister whom she lived with, her parents had recently passed on in a gruesome car accident. I think it is why she is always mad these days.

"...who'd you think you are?..." her sister would say.

"fuck you!" was the answer she receives and the Sophie stomps to her room and slam the door. Her sister walked after her, now she was apologizing.

"I'm sorry Sophie...would you please open the door?"

But sophie had already put on her headphone and was sulking in her bed. After a long silence, Sophie's sister gave up and left.

Then the window curtains on Sophie's window flapped vigorously, startling her. she gazes toward the direction of the window. But it flapped like someone was trying to get it out of his face.

Sophie stood up and slowly started walking towards the window. Her hands were shaking, and she took off her headphone. there was ominous silence except for the occasional curtain flapping.

Then sophie broke into loud rounds of laughter. She was laughing at herself for being scared. Putting her headphone down, she trotted towards the window to close it.

It took her like three steps to reach the window and she first gazed outside before closing it. The view was splendid, her apartment was on the 25th floor. Then she bolted the window lock and upon turning was grabbed in the neck by a person wearing black robe and mask.

Sophie tries to scream but she was suffocating, she frantically searched around and grabbed a lava lamp and hit it on the stranger's head. He lets out a yell and let's her go as he rubbed on his masked head.

She stumbles forward and tries to run but the man tackles her and makes her fall on the ground with a thud. He was now sitting on her stomach and she was yelling but her sister was not responding.
