Chapter Five
"Y/N? Mother? Are you out here?" We both quickly pull away and stand up.
'Oh my god. Did I just nearly kiss Narcissa Malfoy?'
"Yes, we're here." Narcissa says. Draco turns the corner and sees us standing in front of her stone bench.
"I was looking for you, Y/N. You weren't in your room?" Draco says to me. I laugh nervously before responding.
"Uh, yeah I, uhm, couldn't s-sleep." I say while scratching the back of my neck. I then turn to Narcissa.
"I had a good time tonight. See you tomorrow hopefully, Narcissa. Goodnight." I send her a kind smile, which she returns.
"I had a good time as well. Goodnight, dears." She responds. I give her a nod and turn back to Draco.
"Let's go inside now. Head to bed?" I suggest. He nods and I walk over to him. We both walk away from the garden in silence until we're out of Narcissa's hearing range.
"So, you and mother seem to be getting along quite well, yes?" He asks me.
'I mean, we almost just kissed I think so I would say so.'
"Yes, we have been. She's a very lovely woman." I say, without looking away from the path ahead of me. Draco chuckles.
"That she is." He responds. We continue the rest of the trip in silence until we get to my bedroom door.
"Well, goodnight, Draco." I say. He smiles before responding.
"Goodnight, Y/N." He says before giving MN g me a kiss on the cheek. I give him a nod before entering my room. As soon as I shut the door, I slump against it and slide down it, onto the floor. I sit with my knees up and my elbows on them, with my head in my hands.
'What just happened?'
"Idiot." I whisper to myself. I sigh before standing up again. I walk over to my bed and lay down. I list up the covers and slide under them. I let out a sigh and close my eyes. It takes a lot of tossing and turning until I finally fall asleep.
I woke up the next morning from the sunlight shining through the giant window I was facing. I groan before rolling over so I'm laying on my stomach, facing the other side of the room. After a while, I decided to get up. I couldn't fall back asleep anyway and if I did, I would most likely sleep until the afternoon. I push myself up and stretch as I stand. I let out a loud yawn before slouching again. I go over to the window and close the curtains before I drag my feet over to the wardrobe and open up the doors. I look around and settle on a dark green, long sleeved, button up blouse, black jeans, and a belt with a silver buckle as an outfit. I grab my clothes and quickly change. I tuck my shirt into my pants before grabbing my wand, even though I'm not allowed to use magic I just like knowing where it is, and leaving my room to go downstairs. I enter the dining room to see Narcissa and Draco sitting at the table. Lucius was probably in his study.
"Goodmorning Draco, Narcissa." I say to the witch and wizard. Draco looks up and smiles at me, as does Narcissa.
"Goodmorning, Y/N dear." Narcissa says. I smile at her before sitting down across from Draco. A house elf comes scurrying out of the kitchen and sets a plate of bacon and eggs in front of each of us.
"Thank you."
"Thank you." Me and Narcissa say in usion. We look at each other for a moment while the house elf giggles before it runs back into the kitchen. We both look away and return to our food. All three of us eat breakfast in silence before I break the tension.
"So, where's Mr. Malfoy this morning?" I ask.
"Oh, he already ate so he's in his study." Draco answers.
"Ah." I say while nodding.
'Yay, now I don't have to see him this morning.'

"Draco, what do you wanna do today?" I ask him while we walk around the outside of the Manor.
"I don't know. Maybe we could fly around London?"
"We could if I had a broom." I say, lowering my volume each word.
"I have an extra."
"Oh, sweet. Yeah let's do that today." I answer, happily. Draco smiles at me and grabs my hand. We both quickly run to what looks like a shed. He waves his hand in front of it and the doors open to reveal a bunch of broomsticks. From shooting starts, which are really old, to Nimbus 2000, and there's even Firebolts.
"Woah." I whisper.
"Come on. Grab a broom, any broom." He says, while grabbing a Firebolt. I laugh at the tone of his voice before grabbing another Firebolt. We exit the shed and Draco waves his hand once again, closing the doors.
"You ready?" He asks me. I turn to him with a smirk.
"Always." (AHH I'M SORRY.) He smirks back. We mount our brooms and get ready to take off.
"1....2....3!" We kick off and start flying. We circle around the Manor a few times before flying up and over the clouds. I've never felt more alive then in this moment. I love spending time with Draco. Just me and him. Nothing else matters.

Me and Draco had flown all day. The night sky was now showing and we were trying to find a place to land so we could go to the leaky cauldron. We found an empty alleyway with a bunch of boxes so we could hide our brooms. Once we land, we pile up the boxes in front of our brooms. The alleyway was about two blocks away from the leaky cauldron so we had to walk the rest of the way there. I didn't mind but Draco kept shooting looks of disgust at the muggles. Once we had arrived at the leaky cauldron, we make sure no one was looking before we walk in. The sent of different drink immediately hit my nose.
"Over there, theres an empty booth." I nod and we walk over. We sit down and immediately engage in a conversation. We talk for a bit until the waitress comes over.
"What can I get you two for tonight?" She asks in a very thick russian accent.
"Two butterbeers please." I say. The waitress smiles at me.
"Anything for you, darling." She winks at me before leaving. I look to Draco and see him staring at me with a confused expression.
"What. Just. Happened." I ask. Draco just bursts out laughing.
"I think she just flirted with you, Y/N." He says after he calmed down a bit.
"Oh my Merlin. Please no." I grumble.
"Aw, poor Y/N."
"Oh shut, ferret." Draco then hits me playfully on my arm, making me laugh. The waitress then comes back with our drinks.
"How much?" I ask.
"On the house for you, darling." She says with a wink before walking away. I see Draco trying not to laugh.
"Shut up." I grumble while hitting his shoulder, making him laugh. I look to my drink and see a piece of paper taped to it. I pull it off and open it to see a number on it and a note.
'Call me.'
I snort and show the note to Draco, making him laugh even harder.

The waitress constantly came over to our table and flirted with me the whole time we were there. After we finished our butterbeers, me and Draco left and flew back to the Manor. We put our brooms away and go inside.
"Where have you two been all day?" Lucius asks as soon as we enter the dining room.
"We went flying around London today, father." Draco responds. Lucius narrows his eyes but nods.
"Well, I'm sure you're both starving so sit, and eat with us." Narcissa says. I smile and nod. Me and Draco sit down across from each other as usual and our plates get filled with food.
"So, Y/N, what do you know about the Order of the Phoenix?" Lucius asks me.
"I know nothing of it. Honest." I respond. I hear him scoff quietly before sighing in defeat. He leans back in his chair and continues to eat.
'Why is he so obsessed with this "Order of the Phoenix"? And what is it anyway?'
I honestly had no idea what it was. Maybe it was some sort of group that Lucius wanted to join? I honestly had no idea.

Dinner ended quickly but I wasn't to disappointed, seeing as though nothing interesting happened. Lucius was the first to leave, followed by Draco, leaving me and Narcissa alone.
"I hope you had fun today." Shebreaks the silence.
"Oh, yes I did." I respond with a smile. She smiles at me.
"Good." The room then fills with silence once again. Also getting filled with this weird tension.
"This may sound weird but, are you and Draco, you know, together?" Narcissa asks me. I couldn't help but laugh.
"Me and Draco? Oh please! Don't make me laugh! I see him as a brother. Nothing more." I say after my laughs calm down. I could see Narcissa relax a bit.
"Good."
"Why do you ask?" I could see Narcissa think before responding.
"Oh, uhm, just curious is all." I narrow my eyes a bit but nod.
"I hope you're ready for tomorrow." She says. I think for a moment but then remember that tomorrow's Wednesday, the day me and her go shopping together.
"Yes I am. I am quite excited to spend more time with you, Narcissa." I say with a smile, not realizing what I acually said until i see the slight pink on her cheeks.
"Yes, you as well." I smile and nod before finishing my food and standing up.
"Well, goodnight Narcissa. I'll see you tomorrow again." She smiles and nods at me. I turn around and go back to my room. I change into my pajamas and plop onto bed, quickly falling asleep, excited to spend more time with Narcissa.
