'Fuck...' I was staring at both Gohan, and Raditz... This is around the saiyan-saga then, not bad, I should even be able to get by just fine. That's if Raditz doesn't find, and vaporize me on the spot first...
It didn't take a genius to realize that facing him head-on was practically suicide... In fact, I was almost tempted to let this all play out as it did in canon, almost. It didn't feel right just allowing things to be like this, and one scolding from Ayata had changed that.
I didn't want to use this, but I didn't have a choice. Playing hero recklessly would get me killed. This should make this much easier for me... Being the Black-light virus, I had 100% control over my physiology, I could utilize my virus to be a mobile biological weapon...
And that was the plan, infect Raditz and kill him. A simple idea to be honest, but it stood a high chance at working; so I began. My body responded to my commands, my arms writhed into blackness, that soon released red mist that looked toxic by sight...
The only downside to all this, I couldn't change the color of it to make it less obvious, but once I spread it around in all directions, he wouldn't be able to escape, and if it goes right, the victory should be mine.

"For your families sake, you better pray Kakarot completes the mission." Raditz spat
As I watched Raditz sneer at Gohan, I felt a cold, calculated fury building inside me. I knew I had to act fast, before Raditz's temper got the better of him and he did something reckless, and mess up canon even more than I'm about to...
I took a deep breath, focusing my energy on the task at hand. My body began to shift and contort, my arms elongating into dark, twisted tendrils that seemed to writhe and pulse with a malevolent life of their own. The air around me began to distort, as if reality itself was bending to my will.
I had forgotten that the virus literally had minor reality warping capabilities. Maybe this universe had slightly different laws of logic... Regardless, I looked of in the distance.
Raditz's eyes narrowed, sensing something was off, but he didn't seem to notice the subtle changes from this far. That was good; I needed him to be off guard.
With a flick of my wrist, the red mist erupted from my body, spreading out in all directions like a toxic cloud... Slowly, I guided it to surround him him slowly, while also willing it to leave Gohan alone...
And giving most of his attention to the kid, I saw him turn his head, "What the!?" His eyes widened in alarm as he realized what was happening, but it was too late. My mist was already enveloping him as well ss any escape route he had, and instantly it all seeped into his pores, infecting him...
'Good!'
I could feel the virus coursing through his system, corrupting his cells and taking control of his body. It was a slow, agonizing process, but I knew it would be effective. Raditz was a powerful warrior, the process should have been instant, but he lasted around half a minute, which surprised me...
As the mist continued to spread, I could see the fear and panic rising in Raditz's eyes. He knew he was doomed, and that I was the one who had brought about his downfall.
He looked shocked to see me being able to walk in the fumes and be fine, maybe it was realization, or both, but; he was too late, "You!... What are you?" Raditz stammered, his voice laced with horror...
But, I didn't pay any more attention to him, instead, I focused my attention to Gohan, quickly surrounding him with my ice release so he wouldn't see what was going to happen to Raditz's body... This situation was traumatizing already.
"Daddy! H-Help!!" I could hear Gohan crying, poor kid...
Now, Raditz was just a mess of pure biomass for the taking. I didn't waste any time and began absorbing his biomass that was left.
Immediately the changes swept over my body in an instant, a flood of memories rushing through my mind - Planet Vegeta, my parents, Kakarot, Vegeta, Nappa, Frieza and his merciless forces. Abilities long forgotten now surged back to the forefront of my consciousness...
"Urgh..." I grunted, struggling to fight through the searing pain. But this time it was fleeting, vanishing as quickly as it had come. However, the transformation was far from over.
My body continued to contort and writhe, every muscle and sinew shifting and realigning, but I grit through it... Then came the telltale tingling sensation at the base of my spine. Another wave of agony followed, this one building until I felt the unmistakable presence of an appendage that I hadn't had before, yet, I felt I had my whole life...
I could tell the changes were coming to an end, "Fuuhh..." I exhaled heavily, weathering the discomfort as best I could... I thought I was strong before, but now? I felt invincible... The changes were massive... I could feel the energy radiating off my body and actually see it now, Ki...

'That feels much better...' I clenched my fists in and out, feeling the immense amount of strength I held in my arms. If this was what Raditz felt, I could understand his arrogance... Still, I felt as if I could easily blow away the entire planet without missing a single breath...
It was easy...
I looked at my tail, it was black with some white hints like my hair...

In this moment, I felt like a mere ant, a tiny speck in the grand scheme of the universe. But that could change. I could evolve, grow stronger, and become a force to be reckoned with...
Just then, a faint cry pierced the air, "Help!!!" I turned to see Gohan, his eyes red and puffy from tears, still shaken by the earlier display of power.
I quickly released the ice I had summoned, dissipating the frozen aura that had terrified the young boy, "Shh, I won't hurt you..." I reassured him, trying to sound as gentle as possible. "I promise."
I knelt down, trying to appear as non-threatening as possible. "Hey little guy, I'm sorry about that. I didn't mean to scare you." I offered him a gentle smile, hoping to reassure him.
I felt a bit weirded out that I just killed his uncle, and consumed him... Well, technically, I was his uncle now so... Awkward?...
Still, to my relief, Gohan's expression softened, and he took a tentative step forward. "Re... Really?" he asked, his voice still trembling slightly, I nodded, "Yeah, I defeated the bad guy, and now he's gone." I smiled, showing him that Raditz was no longer around.
"Now, let's go, we need to find you your parents, they must be worried sick..." I held out my had as to not force him, and after a little, he grabbed it, while I also grabbed the pod as well.
"Alright, I'll find you your home little guy..."
