19 CHP 19: Mission

"Yeah... I'm pretty young, and I turned so recently, technically..." I was much older than this though, if I were to combine my ages of my absorbed victims. I was around 70+ years old, collectively, since I was all of them at the same time....
"No way, I don't believe you... How can an 18 year old get so, big?" Naruto asked, and I indulged in his curiosity. Thinking for a bit, I knew what I wanted to say...
"It's all about your vegetables, and proper rest. With both, you can't go wrong." I smiled. Though, if he continued training he would eventually get bigger overtime. since I had merged his DNA with Daniel's, adding other DNA might have consequences with his blood...
So in the future, Naruto should have a high affinity to martial arts, and U.I and the copy-cat ability ingrained in him. Though, due to the process, he won't look like how he typically would be. But, who cares, no one in this village cares about Naruto, and he deserved a little boost to his arsenal...
"Sure-Sure... Though, sensei... For some reason, you feel different than before, I don't know else to say it, but you seem you-know, stronger." Naruto finished, folding his arms a bit...
I raised my eyebrow at what he had said, I know I had gotten stronger, but to think he noticed the changes despite me hiding them to the best of my ability is, interesting... Was Daniel's DNA, and the additional training he has received upping his current senses?
Either way, he was right, over the last week I had been pushing myself to the absolute limit. Compared to a week ago, I might as well be a completely different being. The only thing I haven't being training, were my blacklight abilities, which is on my to-do list...
Still... My progress doesn't make complete sense, even to me. At least, it didn't make sense. In this world, I have slowly realized that beings here don't train their raw physical abilities much, or in a better way to put it, their strength don't increase the way it should...
It was chakra that indirectly boosted one's physical capabilities to such immense degrees...
It wasn't like they couldn't up their raw stats at all, but chakra is such a major boost in the process that it's otherwise negligible. Not only that, if one has good enough chakra control, they could multiply their strength exponentially greater than before with the same chakra that already enhances their bodies...
Furthermore, It made sense as to why the physical limits in this world are so fascinating to me. In sheer potential, without chakra to boost them, a lot of the ninjas that exist here could likely reach monumental levels of raw power, but chakra is a hard substitute in this scenario.
There's a very high possibility that Naruto may never reach his maximum physical potential at the rate he is going in his life time without chakra aiding him. Since chakra boosts it naturally, and exponentially as it grows.
This somewhat confirms that someone may have crappy talent, but have physical limits that defy it. If talent was to boost someone's growth rate or to be more specific, how adaptable a person's cells were, someone's physical limits were tied to strict genetics in another sense...
'Still, I need more information to confirm my theory on this little case...

'My strength increased again...' I had gained a massive increase in my abilities. It was almost unrealistic. My strength had increased multiple times over with my other stats following suit.
Through this week, I had realized that my stat gain isn't linear. The higher I went, the more chakra I gained, and because of that chakra gain passive I got, my chakra increased multiple times how it should be, by ten times more to be exact.
I had more power than I had to do with, and comfortably, I feel as if I could deal with almost anyone in this world, but this was false. Due to my senses being more sensitive as I trained, coupled with my new passives. I realized just how ridiculous Naruto's Chakra amount really was. With other high tier ninjas were...
Given my amount, Naruto's chakra levels was much, much higher than my own, and has been improving due to my training as of recent, not to say it wasn't greater than mine before, but it was even more now. Through this week alone, he's grown a lot stronger than before.
'Really goes to show how powerful raw talent was...'
Still, Naruto has chakra levels likely in the billions... Not to mention, the tailed beast that was inside of him has vastly more than what Naruto has, and I don't think I was even feeling a smidgen of what it's capable of or has, but based on my estimation, it could be in the quadrillions if not more...
'That's, terrifying... At this moment, I feel as if I could probably wipe out a decent sized city with the amount I have, but, if Naruto uses own reserves properly, he could wipe out an entire country... Give or take...'
And he was only going to get stronger from here on out... Heh...
"Anyway, sensei... I'm gonna head out to start my first mission. It's gonna be awesome!" Naruto smiled. Though, he seems to not be as loud as he used to be...
'Still, he called me sensei again...' I sighed a little. I really feel old now...
"Just, be safe Naruto..." That's all I could say. I saw him give his infamous smile...
"You bet... See you!" He, ran off...

"Kakashi sensei, could you remind me of the mission details again?" Naruto asked.
Kakashi, with his usual calm demeanor and a copy of the Icha-Icha novel in hand, glanced up at Naruto with a small smile. "Of course, Naruto. Our mission is to escort Tazuna, a bridge builder, to the Land of Waves," he explained, his single visible eye crinkling at the corner.
Naruto nodded, mentally preparing himself for the challenges that could be ahead. "Right, the Land of Waves."
Sasuke, leaning against a tree with his arms crossed, chimed in with a smirk, "Just don't get in the way, Naruto. We're here to protect Tazuna, not babysit you."
'That's definitely going to start a small fire...' Kakashi quipped. Knowing that the two boys had some sort of rivalry, but really, Kakashi knew he was being considerate in calling it that...
He had even wondered if it was too early to bring them on this kind of mission, he cut it back a few weeks because he saw them make some progress in their strength and teamwork, specifically Naruto.
Waiting for Naruto's response, however, Kakashi instead waited on a simple eyeroll from Naruto, he even caught a small gin on the boy's lips...
'Hmm...' He pondered for a moment. This wasn't a reaction typical of the Naruto, but, he let it be, he quickly glanced back at his book to continue where he left off.
Sakura looked towards Naruto, realizing he seemed different lately... More calm, and a bit more collected...
'Why the heck am I suddenly curious about that idiot?' she shook her head and scoffed, continuing to walk ahead...
