Chapter-1

Once there was a girl who lived in Japan in Yokohama named Yuki Takashi who had a normal life high school until it all came down.

One day Himari decided to move to Japan. Himari had to change school and choose new school. Himari joined the school same as Yuki. At school Yuki was a really popular the girl who everybody wants to be friends her.

When Himari joined the school Himari and Yuki became really good friends and started hanging out a lot. And they became inseparables.

One day as Yuki and Himari were talking about random stuff Himari told Yuki about her love towards volleyball Himari loved volleyball but she had no idea about anything of it.

Yuki suggested Himari to join the volleyball club and she can practice there. Himari agreed and joined the volleyball club. As Himari stared playing, she was not that good but she was getting there. She started practicing a lot she wanted to become the ace of the team. So, she had to practice a lot she made her schedule and started practicing and being strict with her schedule.

They she was stared playing really good and even her coach was impressed in Himari improvement so the coach decided to put Himari in the school team which she agreed and then she started playing interschool matches and she was pretty good at they her team had played 3 matches they won 2 matches and unfortunately, they lost 1 match so Yuki was so happy for her so they both decided to go to the amusement park to celebrate the victory.

They both got to the amusement park and started having a lot of fun trying all sort of new stuff and riding all types of rides. They both had so much fun that they decided to take some rest and have some drinks from the vending machine.

Yuki and Himari chose their drinks and when Yuki bent to pick their drink Himari pushed a girl behind Yuki. The girl was wearing a black hoodie and black tennis skirt with a black mask on her face. She looked scary. The girl was about to stab Yuki but saved her in the very moment Himari started running behind the girl but go away.

Yuki and Himari were stunned and couldn't process what had happened at the very moment

They couldn't recognize the girl so they went to a friend of Yuki who was working in the horror house named black cover and Yuki trusted the person so they both went to her and told her everything

And Himari was meeting the person for the first time after seeing her Himari felt like she has seen her somewhere before but don't know where. But then it clicked her. Oh, right she saw her at a volleyball match.

Himari asked the girl her name and the girl replied its Chiharu, I have seen you somewhere she said

Himari said yeah, I have seen in the volleyball matches are you playing too?

Chiharu explained she was not playing anymore and then Yuki asked Chiharu does she know who is she and why she was about to stab Yuki...

After listening to the whole incident Chiharu said that it might be a mistake maybe she might have mistaken you by someone.

They both felt relived but they were still scared. Chiharu suggested that they should inform the police but Yuki refused and Himari refused too.

They both thought that someone might have mistaken them for someone else. So, they decided to go home after that after reaching home.

The next day they didn't felt like going anywhere so they both skipped school. After some days they felt a bit safe and decided to go to school. They went to school as usual and were back to their normal life. But when it was time to tiffin bell, they both were talking and playing in the school playground and then suddenly a pot fell in front of them.

Himari missed that pot in inches when she looked up there was only a shadow. She thought the shadow was of the school gardener but it didn't look like one so Himari went to Yuki and told her everything. But when they were still talking out of know where Chiharu came running to them.

And told she saw a girl planning to throw a plant on Himari. Himari and Yuki both asked Chiharu about everything. Chiharu said she was going to the library. She heard a girl named Teru who was taking the school gardener and asking him that she would help her.

The school gardener was pleased. And happy because someone was helping him and he allowed her to do the work. But I thought that was something off and felt suspicious so she decided to follow her.

And she found out that Teru was planning to throw a pot on Himari. But Chiharu didn't know why Teru was planning to drop the pot on Himari. So, Chiharu came running to Himari and Yuki to tell them everything till she came Himari was already standing with Yuki.

Yuki and Himari asked about the girl but tiffin bell was already over. After the school Himari and Yuki went to Chiharu and asked information about the girl Teru. Chiharu said she needs 1 day to collect information about the girl.

Yuki and Himari agreed. Chiharu told she could walk them both to home because they were being targeted. Yuki and Himari agreed they were so pleased. And Yuki was so happy being close to her old best friend like she used to.

Before Yuki and Himari became friends. Chiharu and Yuki were close friends. They only got separated when their classes and study course became different and they started growing apart. After Yuki and Himari reached their home. They both thanked Chiharu for accompany them and keeping them safe.

The next day the three of them skipped the school and Chiharu had already collected all the information and it turned out that her full name was Teru Ukai. And she is in same school from 1B and her house was only four streets away from school.

And people pay her money to get others information. This is all the information I can get she said. Yuki said today after the school we will clear things with her and talk about to her about everything.

Himari, Yuki and Chiharu talking to each other to whether to inform the people or no. Then Chiharu suddenly got a call from the horror house that she is getting late for her shift to work so she left. Himari and Yuki were the kind of girls who were curious themselves and they were scared about the investigation from the cops.

So, they decided not to inform the cops. So, they waited for a while and when Teru came outside of school. They both started following her and when Teru took a turn. Teru suddenly turned around to Himari and Yuki. They both were pretending like they were not following her.

She said drop the act tell me why are you following me? They both were telling Teru that they were not following her but Teru said quit it just tell me what you want then. Suddenly she took out a knife and kept it in front of them and said Quit it and tell me.

Yuki said Hey, Hey, Hey cool down we want to talk. Teru said then what is it. Himari said OK now you know why we are here to talk. Teru said tell me I have other works to do so make it quick. Yuki said so here let's get straight to the point.

Why are you sabotaging us what's with you why are you trying to kill us. Teru looked at them in socked and scared and said I don't know anything about that just leave me alone. But Himari told her. Why? It was you! We know that so don't play dumb or we have to call the cops. So, tell us.

Teru said I can't. Yuki said you might spend your next 11 years in prison. I have a knife please don't step forward or I'll kill you. And yeah, I have already dialled 911 in my phone Himari said. Teru replied if I say you the name then I'll die for sure.

Teru said fine I can only tell you one thing I don't have any problem with you guys I was given order to kill you guys so please leave me alone. Yuki said so you have no problem with us tell us who are you working for?

Teru said I can't she screamed but Yuki was coming closer to Teru. Teru said don't come close I have a knife I will kill you. Yuki was just trying to talk to Teru as she steps close to Teru suddenly there was a splash of blood on Yuki's face as Himari watched in horror as her eyes widen. Teru fell to ground and at that time Yuki and Himari realized Teru had stabbed herself.

Teru had sacrificed herself to cover up for the puppeteer who had been manipulating her all the time. And now Teru was on the ground bleeding and probably she died. Yuki and Himari were shocked they didn't want to get in trouble so they ran out of there. They didn't even tried checking whether she was alive or not they didn't want to risk leaving fingerprints on Teru's body.

And they went straight to home after witness of Teru's death in front of their eyes they were so terrified they didn't even care to come out for the next few days.

And after someday they heard the news that a girl's body was found in the back alley. After a weak of holidays Himari and Yuki went back to school and thought they had their normal school days back. But the misery was nowhere near to end.

After the school Himari and Yuki were walking home back when they suspected that someone was following them. They were talking and then from the side mirror of the road. Yuki noticed someone in a black hoodie keeping an eye on them.

So, while acting all casual Yuki told Himari and then slowing coming at the end of the road. They both took a turn and they disappeared in thin air and in the guy in the black hoodie looked around for a bit trying not to look suspicious and went away without finding them.

After losing the follower they both came out of the hiding they hid behind the bushes at the corner of the street. They thought of informing the cops but it was too risky to even think about it cause. They witnessed Teru's death in front of their eyes and it was kind of their fault.

Yuki asked Himari to call Chicharu, Himari called Chiharu wanted to tell her everything but she didn't pick up any of the calls. They waited till it got dark and then went home because they didn't want anything to get more worse. It was all getting better day by day after the school Himari had volleyball match, she was practicing after school for her match.

Then she noticed that she saw Chiharu for the 1st time in a volleyball match. So, during the practice Chiharu should be there but she wasn't.

So, Himari went to Chiharu and questioned her you are a volleyball player and still you're not there for the practice why? Chiharu smiled and ohh! About volleyball, the coach removed me. Himari was stunned to hear this. She asked her what the reason was; you are a good player than why?

Chiharu smiled and spoke. I was not better than you were. You were an extra when you started by as the days went by you improved and improved but I could not. Therefore, at the end they had to remove me to take you.

My whole world turned upside down when the coach told me to leave. Volleyball was everything I could think it was my world. Himari said: I am so sorry I didn't mean to. I'll talk to the coach. Chiharu stooped her. Hey, wait do not do that you will only make the matter worse for me.

Moreover, you're really popular to. Even if you let me in the team, the teammates and the other people will hate me saying I begged you to take me in. I don't want that to happen so please forget about it. Himari was frozen when she heard Chicharu.

Chiharu never once, from when she met had talked to her rudely. Now it felt like Himari was talking to a completely different version of Chicharu. Himari felt so upset after some days on the day of the match. She was changing in to her jersey that suddenly she noticed that her one shoe was missing.

She went near the shoe she found a note inside it saying: if you want to attend the match then come and get your shoe before the match. Come to class 1D and get it. Himari had only 10 minutes before the match start the warm up had already started so she had no choice but to go there which was last corner of the stadium.

When she entered the room, she saw the other shoe so she ran towards it. Then suddenly the door closed BANG... behind her she thought that she was locked she picked up her shoe and wore it and then she went to the door.

With thoughts that she will lose the match but when she tried to open the door it didn't open yet she tried it again and saw the lack was on she removed the lack and ran to the match. When she was standing in her position and then suddenly her foot started itching, she was controlling herself so much as the game begins.

While playing her foot was starting to swell, she was already thinking her hater had gone really far this time.

So, during the time break the coach asked Himari to take rest and they'll substitute some player. but Himari refused. The match begins and the match was going really well. But suddenly all the pressure of the match was Himari.

Himari was stressed and was trying to concentrate but her leg won't stop bugging her. However, at the end, when it was her time to receive, she was having set point. If she misses this one than, Her team losses the set.

The opponents had an advantage that Himari's leg was wounded so the opponents were aiming the ball purposely at Himari. Therefore, now when it was set ball and the serve was from the opponent. When the whistle was blown, the ball was aimed straight to her. She knew if she didn't take the serve, they would lose the set.

The ball was aimed to her. She was in pressure. The ball crossed her. The whistle was blown the set was won by the opponents Himari couldn't move her leg because of sharp pain of itchiness and fell to the ground.

Himari was taken to the infirmary for her leg check-up but she was not giving in she wanted to win the match. The sensation of the pain in her leg was getting worse after some time. The second was about to start.

Himari was begging the coach to let her play but the coach refused to listen to her. The coach said we are substituting you with Chiharu so take rest. Then out of no-where Chiharu showed up with a smile on her and asked the couch why he called her.

Himari was stunned to even react then Chiharu turned to Himari coming towards her and asked her what was wrong why was her leg injured and how? Himari was shocked the way Chiharu just smiled at coach for being replaced by her for the 2nd set.

Suddenly she was acting all worried why was she doing this to me. Himari was filled with thoughts through the day. She thought Chiharu as friend but Himari was thinking Chiharu was person who put the itching powder in her shoes so that she could get to play the match.

But she was filled with terror and betrayal, her friend betrayed her while she was resting in the infirmary Chiharu came running to her and said we won the match. Himari was happy for the team and yet so furious about Chiharu so she said cut it out I don't want to cheer it from you so leave.

Chiharu was stunned by Himari's voice then Chiharu tried explaining her. But Himari was too angry to even listen to her. Then Yuki hugged Himari and said I'm so glad you are ok

Then all the team members entered the infirmary with mixed emotions on their faces they were happy and sad they won the match. Himari just smiled and congratulated them for their win. And then they left Himari eyes were filled with angry tears and she was left alone with Yuki. Himari's tears rolling down the cheeks as she watched the team members celebrating the victory with Chicharu.

And Yuki by her side confronting her Yuki was trying to trying the best to cheer her up but nothing seems to work. When Himari looked at Chiharu smiling and celebrating then it clicked her Himari was now starting to realize that maybe everything that had happened to Yuki and Himari. Chiharu was behind it.

Himari was fuming with anger she could feel the pain in her heart. Her friend was back stabbing her she wasn't mad at her for stealing her place but she was mad at her for sabotaging her and stealing her place.

After some days Himari was out of the hospital and her allergic was gone. Now she was back to school and she was aware that Chiharu was the back stabber and was attempting to kill her but she didn't have any proof.

So, now she needed some proof to confess her and give them to the cops. So, Himari told the plan to Yuki and she agreed so now they both searching for proof against Chicharu. So, they both started spying on her.

While they both were taking their positions and starting their plan a bunch of fans came running to Himari and kept asking her for pictures. And when Himari was done, they were heading to Chiharu but Chiharu was already gone. So, their whole day was wasted.

Next day as Himari and Yuki were heading to the cafeteria out of no-where a girl suddenly appeared and asked Himari for a pic and she agreed. And they had lunch and were heading out then another girl came running towards Himari and told her that the coach wanted to see her immediately.

So, Himari excused Yuki and went running to the coach at the auditorium where all the team members are waiting. She asked what was wrong. Chiharu was standing there too.

The coach gave her the most shocking news ever the school volleyball team had selected and they were playing for the district level Himari was so excited and happy. But a part of her was relieved for some reason she thought that Chiharu would steal here place.

The volleyball team started celebrating. After the volleyball team celebrating over Himari went to Yuki and told her everything about the team selecting Yuki was happy for her. Yuki understands why Himari was so happy she gave Himari some space then after 2-3 days Himari started practice her volleyball every day.

Yuki was supporting her in every way. A day before the match while Himari was in the auditorium practicing even after the practice was over, she was over doing her practice. So, Yuki went to stop her but she didn't listen to Yuki she was practicing all evening.

Yuki gave up and went home at night when Himari was coming home, she was walking down the street then she heard something fall behind her. When she turned around there was nothing so she continued walking towards home. But then she felt that someone was following her. But she didn't freak out she played it cool even though she was freaking out but she didn't want the follower to know that she was really scared.

But as she was walking fast that person behind her started walking fast. At the moment she saw a lady walking Infront of her. She went to her and started talking to her like she knew the lady for ages. Himari kept telling the lady different topics like ohh you remember that day how your dog ate so much food that you had to take him to the doctor.

The lady was confused but when Himari turned around to see whether person was following or not there was no one so she thanked the lady and started running towards her home. Chiharu and Himari stayed close by as Himari was crossing Chiharu's house.

She heard a familiar voice it was Chiharu but she wasn't talking to Himari there was someone else she was talking to. As Himari slowed a little to hear what Chiharu was saying. She heard her name in their conversation so she stops to hear to a conversation she was heart-broken and angry when she heard what they were talking about.

Chiharu was telling the girl hey don't tell me anything this will be all your fault if you mess up. Himari will find out everything and know this we do it remember on the match day you go it? And right before the match. You should prepare everything you got that cause I'll be playing the match that so prepare everything.

Himari was shocked she went home trying not to think about Chiharu and the girl she thought if she started to avoid them so she won't be in trouble on the day of the match. She called Yuki and told everything and Yuki confronted her and not to worry about anything.

There was only 3 days away and soon after they were having exams. So, Yuki started studying hard. She was an honour student after all and popular in school too. Every year she had to maintain her reputation and popularity he started studying hard and on the other hand Himari started focusing on the match. She didn't care if she got held back one year, she just wanted to win this match.

They both got busy in their own works and Chiharu was never been seen in school after Himari heard about the plan. But Himari couldn't focus she was thinking about Chiharu what was she going to do where is she? Is she preparing for the match.

She had tons of questions but she was sure that she was doing something to get her position in the match she couldn't believe Chiharu would stoop so low and betray her.

The day of the match arrived faster than they expected every one was nervous and excited at the same time and Himari on the other hand were so nervous she was not able to sleep last night.

Yuki and Chiharu tried to calm Himari down. But Himari was so angry at Chiharu why was she even acting like she cared she was only acting to be her friend but in reality, she was backstabbing her.

So, Himari ignored her and headed to the dressing room but then suddenly Yuki appeared in front of her and stood there and asked you have already changed into your jersey then why are you going in the dressing room again?

Nobody's there in the room still the team members haven't arrived yet don't enter the room. Himari felt something suspicious why was her own best friend is not allowing her to go in that room.

Why what's wrong with me entering that room Yuki she asked Yuki replied hey it's not like I don't want you to entre the room it is just that think about it last match you got substituted so I thought it might be dangerous.

Himari agreed and thought her best friend was really protective of her and was doing it for her best and she was doubting her. Then they both went near the seats in the stadium and stood there.

Then a girl from the team came and after sometime the coach came to them and said to Yuki the girl was calling her she should go. Yuki went to the girl

Himari was standing there and started talking to the coach yet the crowd and the audience didn't come it is a peaceful stadium Himari said.

coach replied yeah and I can't wait and see the stadium full of people and cheering our school's name. Himari replied yeah

Coach and Himari were talking then out of no where the peaceful atmosphere was destroyed Chiharu came running stood there in front of her and asked the coach to leave them alone a moment.

The coach agreed and she left now Himari and Chiharu were standing alone. Chiharu started the conversation she asked you should keep your bag close to you where is your bag?

Himari replied it is in the dressing room

You should keep your bag with you there is a lot of robbery here Chiharu said. Himari knew that she was no good judging on what she on last match so she replied I don't care if someone robs my bag. Besides there is nothing valuable in it

Chiharu said yeah then what about your phone isn't it valuable?? Himari had totally forgotten about her phone. She tried playing it cool and said she didn't have anything valuable in the phone too.

Chiharu said then why not give it someone who will give it its value why not you give it to me?!

Himari gave Chiharu a shocked look thinking is this girl ok did she hit her head or something when she was born. Himari replied I didn't say I don't need it I said there is nothing valuable in it. I need it to make phone calls. Chiharu explained that she was joking about the phone

Don't take it seriously I also have a phone. Himari so badly wanted to ignore her and her she is chatting with her about random stuff and then Chiharu again asked since we were talking about phone, I don't have your line id can you give it to me?

Himari said yeah sure but I don't have my phone right now she just wanted an excuse from her. Chiharu had already taken out her phone and then she looked at Himari and then to her phone.

And said ohh wait I had to make a call wait a minute and she called someone. And said yeah, I'm fine and how are you
